I want to get 6.0.1 Android on my X. What is currently the cleanest and as close to stock Google ROM out there? Basically I want something that will be pretty much exactly like a Nexus 5X or 6P ROM.
Give Purity ROM or AOSParadox a try.

AOSParadox is the closest to the clean/stock Android experience..
Great will try that this weekend thanks!

Just wondering if anyone is working on this, how many people are waiting for it, etc... I like stock android more than sense and with all the htc one based roms out there, is it easier to do a one based GPE Rom than porting CM to our device?
I'd use CM, but I like my Bluetooth audio more than stock android.

i heard that GPE isnt even stock android, its just de-sensed. besides, there are a million different 4.2.2 AOSP roms already, i dont think anyone would even bother porting over GPE. just my opinion
Every AOSP Rom so far that I've found doesn't have working Bluetooth audio though. The GPE Roms aren't just de-sensed to my knowledge, they aren't AOSP, but they are close enough for me.

Hi all, spotted the next batch of Cyanogen Snapshot releases have been launched. Sad not to see the One X+ in there. Anyone know what's holding development up? Saw someone mention the kernel needs a update on another forum, that right?
In the meantime anyone using a 4.4 rom they'd recommend? Looking for something fairly stable and vanilla as it's on my main device. Subtle differences between 4.2.2 and 4.4 really stand out when using both my nexus 4 alongside the One X!

4.4 ROM
Im using the 4.4 ROM provided by Lloir, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2510836
What's do you guys think is the best rom on the DNA? Leave some opinions.
this is a toxic question that will only start arguments because everyone has their own opinions. it would just be best for you to start flashing away and find the one that you like the most

I'm using NuSenseSIX KitKat right now. Not the MAXX one just basic. I like it a lot. I tried Viper and it kept lagging up and not letting my screen turn on. Just wish there was an MIUI that was Android 4.4.2
Just like every device, there is no "best" for everyone. It depends on taste and what customization you want and what flavor you like. AOSP flavor or Sense. AOSP, I recommend any room by danjull and sense is either viper our any rom by santod

Haha. Me too, I was just watching a cm11 video. I had it on my old m8 and liked it allot.
Custom Kernels!!!! Synapse was amazing app to use with the right kernel. Honestly I really dig the stock rom. Maybe just remove some things and I will be fine. Of course I will be trying CM when it comes.
We've got to wait until the patches for custom AOSP roms to work with Bump are released, I believe. Might be able to flash stock based roms without patching, though.
Ending up picking up a G3 this weekend. Coming from an S3 with Carbon 4.4.4 and plenty of xposed modules. Overall a great device.
I thought I would miss my heavily customized AOSP rom but the G3 provides a great stock experience.
I'll hold out on a L AOSP version...if there ever will be one.
So, marshmallow has been quite working. I decided to ask you'll which ROMs (based on MM) do you'll need so we devs can begin the work of porting them. I'm asking this as people think thay development on the op2 is quite slow and will never grow. (Yeah they say!) Hence, just tell us down what you'll need! We will work on it if we can! You can freely ask here as this thread is in the General section. Thanks! [emoji16]
Why am I doing this? I just want developers to be united. Also there should not be any confusion like there was previously.
Also i'm just keeping a list of ROMs to be done here. I arn't porting everything! Lol I too don't have that much of time [emoji23] List helps organise stuff (I sound creepy. Yeah :3 )

Off-topic: I don't prefer a ROM, I'll take everyone with working FP.

FP wont work till oos 3.0
Also we constantly work on the tree. ROMs are needed so that everyone isn't bored of using the device and alwayd has something new to try!

I understand, but that's why I'm still stock now. BTW I saw this on Twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/cmtdb/status/677001988970803204 "@Aadam_d we're working now on releasing full device trees; as per before it doesn't really make sense to release FP blobs pre-Marshmallow". Would that make it possible to get working fingerprint before marshmallow?
And it isn't quite a ROM but I would like MultiROM on the OPT. I know it isn't possible because of kex ec hardboot on ARM64. I know Dualboot patcher also but I'm a bit tired of patching zips... Could this be helpful for kex ec BTW? https://lwn.net/Articles/620975/
I know I've got impossible wishes but I would love these features...
ressurrection remix!.
My OPT ready for any new built dev.
Omnirom used it a lot on my Oppo Find 7

Cataclysm (Nexus 5) : i liked the time triggerd energy saving mode.
Euphoria Rom !
Cataclysm isn't open source, so no way to port.
I would prefer Chroma as I use it on my Nexus devices.

In my opo used to get really good speed and battery with Sultanxda Rom`s

Aosparadox or anything close to Aosp
Dirty Unicorns is really good as well!
Not sure if you want repeat requests so as to maybe see which ROMs are most highly demanded, but I would love to see BlissMallow and Resurrection Remix ported to 6.0 for the OPT!
