I recently bricked my RCA tablet while modifying the boot file in the device's system folder. It was stuck in a bootloop so I followed the directions in a forum to use SP Flash tool and flash it to reinstall the stock rom. While following those instructions to the T, it seems that my device will now no longer boot, won't charge, and is not recognized by my computer (all the symptoms of a hard-brick as I am told). I followed a brief fix explained by a self-help forum within hovatek to use the SP Flash tool to only flash the preloader file just to try and get the device to boot again, but not even that worked. I would like to know what else there is I can do to fix it or if there's no other option but to send it back to the factory. I am using a RCT6773W22 Tablet w/ V38-V1.8.0 An error I received while using SP Flash tool the first time right before my tablet became hard-bricked was Error 5007.

Here is the problem: The phone is stuck on bootloop and will not go past initial "Lenovo" logo.
THE PHONE TYPE: Lenovo S90u with Qualcomm processor with Android 4.4.4
HOW IT HAPPENED:
1) I was trying to update using Fastboot because I couldn't get using the QPST Tool to work when trying to flash ROM from needrom
2) In Fastboot, I successfully flashed the Recovery.img
3) In Fastboot, I successfully flashed Boot.img
4) Then when I tried to flash System.img, it erased the system, but gave a FAILED error and device locked error.
And now I'm stuck on bootloop and doesn't get recognized by PC. I suspect there is some Qualcomm tool that can be used to installnew OS.
HELP PLEASE!!!
Fixed
So, no one responded.so I figured it out and fixed it. Was pretty easy. Basically, I used QSTP to flash a the Lenovo official ROM onto the phone. To get the phone to be recognized by the computer while in bootloop without TWRP, you hold down volume key and insert mini-USB. Then flash with QSPT following instructions to puck up the eight files from the extracted ROM.

Where did you get hold of the official S90u ROM? We are talking about the official S90u source code release KitKat 4.4.4 right?
If yes could you post it?
Thanks!

Hello oheneaku,
could you provide some help with your instructions ?
some details and maybe links for the files we need to download.
I have same problem with S90u.
Hello!
I have a bricked phone. When I got him, he was in a state "loaded to the screensaver and stop".
I decided to flash him using recovery (carliv touch recovery 2.2). Thanks to recovery I copied all the files from phone. But all my attempts of flashing were unsuccesful - I've got the errors while recovery did an unzipping.
That because I decided to use SP FlashTool. But I've forever got the same error 5069.
I notice, that I can format my phone and download the preloader. But it's all what I can.
What I tried (what i remember):
to load without and with battery;
to put a battery after beginning of flashing;
to flash with pushed power, volume control buttons - all together and alone
to use another system, cable and computer (2 cables and computers, windows and ubuntu);
to flash different versions (from off site);
to use different versions of sp flashtool
Also I found a video, where propose to do the backup of working phone (prestigio 3400) by MTK droid tool and try to flash this.
I would be very grateful if you help me. Thanks
Hello there. I have an Elephone P9000 Lite, which required a re-flash. Fair enough. After I formatted everything then flashed the stock ROM... I tried booting it up, but the boot animation won't show up, instead, it's all just a black screen. It went on like that for 10 minutes, before I decided to stop trying. It got bricked. Now, I decided to try and flash CM13 (I found a ROM on this forum), but I can't flash it using SP Flash Tool (what I used to flash stock) because it's an .img file, so it doesn't have a scatter. I came to the conclusion that I can use:
a) Recovery, which I can't access due to the device being bricked
or
b) ADB, which requires USB debugging to be enabled, but I can't enable it due to my device being bricked.
Can anyone help me?
(I have quite some experience with flashing and stuff, but I have no idea how to flash .img using a PC without having to access the phone's OS)
Hello, I have the mentioned phone, a few days ago it went into brick mode( stuck in boot screen ).
So I proceed to flash it, everything seems ok but this time the phone it's not recognized in fastboot mode
I spent the whole day yesterday trying to find a solution, I think it's because of the drivers(maybe).
If I open the fastboot option while having it pluged in, the flash tool recognizes it just for a second when it's loading the fastboot and then it won't recognize it again.

I used this tutorial for ZTE Blade A452 (delete spaces) :
getdroidtips . com/stock-rom-zte-blade-a452/
I used the same tools and files the guide has, I tried downloading many drivers for A452 but none made any diference.
I don't know if I'm doing something else wrong.
I'd appreciate any help, thanks
Hi... I unlocked bootloader for my (Letv Le 1s X507) through adb, and phone got bricked ( Just keeps rebooting itself ). I tried flashing various stock ROMs through SP Flash tool (Download Agent - MTKAllinone.bin) and ROM scatter file, but the progress on SP tool never goes beyond 0%.
Then I started experimenting with SP flash, I tried selecting (Download Agent - DApl.bin) and download only boot,recovery it goes successfully. The issue is with Preloader file when I download it, it gives different errors.
I'm using Win7 - 32 bit. Tried different Vcom drivers, changing port / cable / ROMs / SP versions nothing works. I'm stuck
Thanks for reading this & Please Help.
UPDATE - Issue Resolved.
Here's what I did, Used SP flash to download boot, system, recovery etc everything except Bootloader. Because boot loader was the culprit here which was not getting flashed ( Still don't know what's the issue but I doubt it's Win 7 - 32bit driver issue ). So gave it around 2 hours with SP flash, again the progress was 0% throughout still gave it time. And I think it was actually flashing.
And then I got stock recovery, then flashed stock rom by otg through stock recovery. Still it gave same bootloops, but I got into Fastboot. Now the game starts, ran ADB commands flashed twrp. Already had nandroid, flashed it. Finally flashed RR 5.85 this time it booted up without any issues. :laugh:
