Hi Guys
How to Increase recovery partition to create CWM/TWRP recovery
When i tried to create CWM/TWRP recovery error aborting recovery can't be repacked too large
MT6735_Android_scatter file attachement
Your recovery partition was 16 Megabytes. So no needs to do that.

/system/media/audio (some app show it "ui" instead of audio)
to remove the "shot" sound of camera, you need to change the camera_click.ogg (and Camera_click_short.ogg if necessary) to a empty audio file, so i will attach one here for you.
PS: this is permanent, you will need a backup of the file if you want to come back
Edit:
You can also just mute your phone

Thanks for the help. When I try to replace the file it says "can't overwrite, read-only file". Do you know how to fix it?

Here it goes:
2 formas:
Obrigado!!

I currently have 10 Windows 64 bit, but the issue is that when I connect another Xiaomi all is normal and until I flashed, but with this nothing
Enviado desde mi Mi-4c mediante Tapatalk
I can not install the TWR because not connecting not see CMD when I enter the command says waiting for device, I've left all the time in the world and does nothing
Enviado desde mi Mi-4c mediante Tapatalk
Phone must be in fastboot mode, then instal twrp alka using command :
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Make sure you rename twrp to twrp.img
Then after succesfully, type in command prompt:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Your device will boot into twrp, and you can clean flash it.
But what happens is that not can enter or to the Recovery or to the fastboot, is as if the phone was in mode EDL but without respond and or to connect it, it light red only lights when it connect to the pc, the administrator of devices it recognizes but none of them Miflash not and when can connect them pin in my flash only me appears in name of the port COM not of the phone and therefore not is communicates me says that no can read the port

Try to press & hold volume.down + power for 10 second or more, it will make your device boot to fastboot mode.

Ares 8A no OS
Hi, friends i have Ares 8A NX16A8116K PB
By Accidentally deleted system file while installing TWRP/root.
I can access TWRP but no OS. Have no system backup file.
Looking for STOCK OS or equal OS that can be installed through TWRP.
I have tried all related forum custom ROM but no success.
I have stock imgs i took but mine is bricked too. I can get to bios with OTG + keyboard. But all partitions were deleted to install Lubuntu (isn't great). I'll upload my .imgs if it helps. If you can get yours going, would you help get mine going? I think I'd need a "dd" of your entire /dev/block/mmcblk0.
Uploading img's now.

Here these are. I can't say at all for sure whether these will do any good, but they're there.
I haven't yet uploaded the "android_system.img" or "android_data.img" yet because they're huge. Take forever for my microwave to upload. They'll be up soon though!

@kilroystyx Thanks for the file!
I've tried to copy the oeminfo parition using dd (the exact command is below)
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/Download/oeminfo of=/dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/oeminfo
It appears to copy fine and I am able to reboot back to the system. However, the build number still states
Code:
8.0.0.046(0M7A)
.
Furthermore when I run:
Code:
getprop ro.hw.custPath
it still reports
Code:
/cust/ee/gb
Also
Code:
fastboot getvar vendorcountry
reports
Code:
vendorcountry: ee/gb
Any ideas what I've done wrong?
Do I need to perform a clean install after restoring the oeminfo partition?

If doesn't work I'll prepare a TWRP backup and then you can restore.
@kilroystyx NVM turns out I must have copied my backed-up oeminfo partition to my device by mistake - hence no change.
FYI for anyone that uses this method it relocks your bootloader (minor panic when my device refused to boot)! I also performed a factory reset - not sure if this required but probably worth backing up your files just incase...
