PLEASE HELP ME my Htc One X+ suddenly have this problem when i charged it while its power off...
then when i opened, after an hour or so when using it, it reaches 65% and shuts down automatically and the problem persist until now...
now when im opening it, it shuts down but when its charging... i can use my device without any problem but when im unplugging it and i can only use the device for a minute or so and it shuts down again..... also its shuts down while im playing games even im charging my phone....
so what is the solution for this?? :crying:
Sorry my english is bad :3 hope you all understand what im saying xD
To me it sounds like the battery is nearly dead. Look hear www.ifixit.com to find a clip showing how to change it. A battery for hox+ is not so expensive.

ok, here is an odd problem... will try to explain it as good as I can... with my poor english.
got a GSM model here. after rooting the phone, I updated once for HTC clock wiglet then all the sudden the phone won't boot. it stuck at the HTC logo with the white screen, and then after a short moment, it vibrates then reboot again. and it keeps doing this again and again. guess thats normal among androids? but I just don't know how to fix it. as I checked the recovery screen. it got s-on again. not sure if that is the cause of the problem, but again, I dont really know hot to fix it.
so I was thinking flashing the phone again? but another funny thing happened. the phone doesnt seem to be charging. the orange/red on the top right is staying on for a couple of seconds then off for a couple of seconds then on... so on and so forth.
I am afraid it was the USB port that caused the crash of the system so I think I better ask here first before I do anything.
Anyone has experienced anything like this? or has any idea whats going on?
thanks in advanced!!
forgot to mention. the orange/red indication light is going on and off with and without charging
Anyone?

Sounds to me that your battery is empty. The reason it turns off after you turn it on is because it turns on, sees the battery level low and shuts off to prevent the battery from getting damaged.
The blinking light is common when charging a dead battery. Let it charge for at least 30 minutes and see if the charge light turns solid.

I left it charge over night n it's still playing up. But anyway, I have send it back for warranty. Thx all the same!

I have the same problem with my Titan. Is your problem solved? The only way to turn on is to remove the battery or connect the charger.
So yesterday I was learning for my exams at the university. I put off my phone so I wouldn't be distracted by my phone. So after I wile I automaticly unlocked my phone forgetting I put it off, so it went on again. Before unlocking the device I shut it down. Some time later I put it on again, and noticed my battery went from +- 22 to 11% without using it, just restarting it twice. I know my HOX+ last 10% battery drains alot faster than the rest of the battery, but this time i even got home without reaching 0%. I assumed it was some software bug, didn't matter to me. Than I put it in the charger and noticed it didn't charge at all. So I put my charger in my PC and tried annother charger, but still it didn't charge. After a min or so the battery reached zero and the device shut down. Since then I'm not able to use the device anymore. I never rooted or so, installed APEXlauncher app a week ago, didn't use it at all, I don't know if makes sense either.
I've been searching the first few pages of google but there wasn't a real solution. Is it possible my microusb port in my phone is broken? I've been using an old blackberry charger at my parrents home, wich was slightly moveable while connected to the device and needed to be straight in the device to be able to charge, while it fit in my sisters HTC Desire X without problems.
I would be very thankfull if someone has a solution!
Thankyou in advance,
Joost
It's either the port or the battery or some other hardware bug since you didn't root. I would contact HTC or your provider.

are you still on stock htc firmware/software? you can try the following (though no guarantee that it helps):
- let your phone run out of battery until it turns itself off.
- wait a few minutes, turn it back on and wait for it to turn off again
- charge your phone while power off, when the light turns green, charge it for another hour or so.

I am on stock F/W at the moment, I have tried something similar to that to be honest thats roughly what happens every time it ditches out lol.
O2 at the moment are being useless and refusing a replacement so i might go down the rooted route if it might solve this issue as ive heard of a file that is in the wrong folder that can suck back the battery and make it hot.
Would it be wise for me to root mine and put custom rom on ?
Still in contact with HTC direct at the moment hoping that they can help........doubt it though
Thanks for the help

i don't know of such a file causing these problems.
rooting your phone and installing a custom rom gives you much more freedom than stock rom, but i don't know if it helps with your battery problem...
try rooting first. If that doesn't work, then Just switch ur battery with a new one; )

Hello Everyone
Its my first time posting a problem here, but on to the main topic.
My brother has a HTC ONE X+, he was using the phone during the day and suddenly he found out the the screen won't turn on, then later that day he tried to charge it thinking that the battery might be flat, but after 2 hours still nothing happened. Normally the charging led would lit when its plugged in but they's literally no sign of it turning on or charging. What do you guys think i should do?
Thanks

Sounds like a dead battery. I had this too with my X+, the only thing you can do is a battery replacement.
