Okay guys lots of new phones released and with UX 5.0 also out, which UI do you prefer? Choose between stock Google, LG, Samsung, Sony etc.
Personally I like UX 3.0 the most (original G3)

Definitely UX 3.0
UX 4 for LG. Also i love Sony's UI.
Like new LG UX 5, but it's sad that they removed app drawer.
4.0 and 5.0

theres nd5 in d802 section it says aall variants not sure if f320l is supported.
On the LG G2, I use a stripped down stock D800 ROM with nova launcher. I am pretty satisfied. Simple and fast.
Stock Google with the Polycon icon pack. Nova launcher pro with enlarged icons.
The LG experience for me has always hindered the usability. Whether it be the icon design, animations, interface, features and things like no custom gesures. Performance and battery life are another crucial thing a heavy launcher may struggle with.

Edit: can someone please read this?
Ok. So I'm a noob when it comes to android for the most part. My question is, why are there different styles for the Eclair Stock launcher? The N1 had an app button with the page switcher dots. Then there is the cartoonish style app drawer like on the Samsung intercept. Then there is the app drawer that's solid dark gray like on the OG Moto Droid.

What you have noticed - is the general trend of manufacturers to make customisations to the vanilla android in an attempt to engender brand loyalty ... Probably the best example is HTC with Sense. With a device that is rooted, you can make changes yourself to suit your tastes ... I like to mix and match default android, launcher pro, bits of Sense and custom icons/colours. Welcome to the ever changing worlds of android! .. Enjoy!

I know what sense, touchwiz and motoblur are. But my question should have been asked like this. On vanilla eclair, what does the app drawer look like?

Are the two not both vanilla android? Thanks for reading. Looking forward to the answer.

Both of 'em Droid was released with Android v2 but N1 was release with 2.1 also the CPU difference also means the Launchers would be different, The Droids launcer is alot faster (imo) compared to Launcher 2 (Nexus) along with RAM differences
Oooh ok. Thanks, that makes sense.

great!! never knew that touchpad could look soo cool!
Tried, but I don't like it at the moment... Maybe when they add more features.
I'm using Apex Launcher now, very good for TP.

It's still in a very early state. What did impress me was the UI for customizing homescreens.

Hello,
I am using this launcher for a while on my gTablet. After last Market update all icons started to look really small (I didn't change any settings). How do I return big icons? Any ideas will be appreciated
I like it....I don't see the big hype behind other launchers (i'm looking at you laggy SPB with your £10 price tag). I've been using it for 2 weeks now and the only thing i didn't like was themed but that'll come along soon.
With apex launcher i read that it has the ability to support go launcher themes, is that on tablets too?
Hey,
I know there are quite a few alternative Launchers for Android out there, but what I want is to change the UI more then just a bit. I would love to have a "Swipe UI" like the one from the Nokia N9...
I know MIUI but its very Apple like... Any other Costum ROMs (for a Samsung Galaxy Note II) with I could use? Ubuntu has a great UI, but hell yeah, the OS isnt more then just a UI with demo content yet
Thanks and Greets

Lollipop Themefor the GPad V500 20D
Background
Since I am providing the community with different themes for the LG G3 and own a nice GPad as well I thougth to adapt my themes to the GPad. It was hard work because I had to learn KitKat code again (I simply forgot many things...)
The theme will work on the V50020D software version. It replaces SystemUI, Settings and framework and adds AOSP calculator.
I added to SystemUI Miniview not really useful but looks great.

Bugs
The LGSettings.apk cannot be recompiled without issues so the definition of fonts is not fully correct. Will work on it. A slighter vrtheme modul might come as well.
If you appreciate my work you can buy me a beer.

What does this mean?
Nothing important. Esthetical bug in settings menu.
Thanks! My LG G Pad 8.3 now looks much better! :good:
This looks like the well deserved update that G Pad 8.3 will not get! Unfortunately I'm only rooted and don't have a recovery. But it's nice that you've given support to the G Pad I don't want to install a recovery as I'm getting about 6 hours screen on time on a single charge which is pretty good!

Very nice. Thank you. I got the app icons with the round corners, but folders still have sharp corners. Is there a setting anywhere?
Best regards
