Any logitech keyboard or mouse or both with the unifying connector will work, but youll need the micro usb male to standard usb female adapter. te adapter is mega useful besides just this IMHO

I use the Samsung Bluetooth keyboard (the blue aluminum one) & S-Mouse & its about replaced my laptop completely... hell, its about replaced my PC, too!!!
....What i cant seem to find is a stylus!! I have a Note5, N-10.1, & the NotePro (12.2") ----I'm a graphic designer-- and I'm used to the S-pens and how amazing the artwork is that comes from using them.. I know there HAS to be a bluetooth version, or even a thin-enough capacitive stylus would do the trick.. I can create some amazing stuff with the cheap-o stylus i bought the same day as the tablet, but there's better ---i know it!! ...any ideas? ...PS, i've tried to sneak-open or even ask an employee to let me try some out at the store, but they never let me or i'm unable to do it myself without their help.. i've bought a few bluetooth digitized stylii and they didn't seem to want to work on it .......i'm tired of making returns.. lol!

I bought a Samsung capacitive stylus (from this site fonejoy.com/genuine-samsung-t365-galaxy-tab-active-stylus-pen-gh98-34603a.html ) with the intention of using it on the Galaxy View. However, it doesn't work on Galaxy View. It's mind boggling because this stylus comes with the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active and is supposedly an ordinary capacitive stylus (source: sammobile.com/2014/09/25/samsung-galaxy-tab-active-hands-on ) . Does a capacitive stylus work on the Galaxy View???

For anyone looking for a mini wireless usb keyboard and mouse combo i`ve bought one for my g-tablet. Its a Rii mini keyboard, trackpad and laser combo.
When its plugged in with the dongle to my g-tab it brings up a little mouse cursor (i`m using the vegan-tab b3 ya i know i still need to update )
The website i ordered from says it has a 10m range.. but its more like 7-8m range.
Costs me about $40 with free shipping.
I can`t post links yet since i`m new here but you can get it on dealextreme dot com and the sku is 35354
Also cuz i can`t post links i can`t link to photos i`ve taken but if you want to see some just pm me and i`ll send you my flickr album.
Looking forward to getting my malata zpad dock so I can sit on my butt and use this keyboard to navigate with hdmi out
that looks sweet thanks for the info
Some of the reviews on the site mention poor build quality, is this accurate?
I bought one of these to use with my HTPC. The thing's not bombproof but it feels pretty solid overall for being 100% plastic. Keys are nicely backlit when you want them to be, charges via USB (and has a little Y USB cable so you only have to use one USB port for Charging/Dongle if you want), keys are nice and clicky. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.
do you have the android.apk that comes on the cd? its not on my cd and i cant get the keyboard to pair with my phone...
hmm i never had an android.apk. I just plugged the usb dongle into my g-tablet and it recognized it without problems.
As for poor build quality... i think its pretty solid especially for $40.. I mean the thing is super light and perhaps someone has thought of that being poor build quality?
I'm rather happy with it as well.
Doesn't your gtablet already have bluetooth? Why did you use a usb BT dongle then? i just got this today, and I cannot get it to work with my gtablet. I managed to find the android.apk on riitek's site, but it requires 'internet authentication' which, for some reason, simply will not work.

its not BT it is wireless 2.5Ghz
yea its not bluetooth its just wireless 2.4GHz... i never had to goto rii's website or anything... i just plugged the usb dongle that came with the keyboard into the usb slot on my g-tablet and it picked it up right away... no software needed.
Will this work on TNTlite ver 4.2 ROm? Or just for Vegan?
I have not personally tested it on those roms but if they have usb keyboard/mouse support i don't see why it wouldn't.
Lenovo Keyboard works as well....
I have a G-tab with stock OS and the TnT Enchancement pack. I tried the little wireless Lenovo Keyboard/Trackball that I use on my HTPC and the keyboard part works fine. The mouse does not work, but I did not do any t-shooting so it may just be a config issue.
For those looking for a small keyboard, I can say the Lenovo works well and is very comfortable to hold. I am actually going to look for a bigger keyboard for my G-Tab, so I really just plugged it in to see if it works.

Hi guys, I was wondering...which bluetooth keyboards work well with the Prime.
What would you recommend???
If you need a keyboard for the Prime, I would recommend the Asus Keyboard dock made specifically for use with the Prime. Not only is it a decent small keyboard, but the extra battery life, Prime specific function keys and full sized USB port make it more useful than any standalone keyboard.
If you don't want the Asus keyboard dock, in order to help you find a keyboard that meets your needs it would be helpful to know what your specific needs are.
Do you want something ultra portable?
Do you want a full-sized keyboard?
Do you need a track pad?
Etc.
I wouldn't want to buy the keyboard dock, I think it's way overpriced ( 130 euros is the cheapest I've found in the eu ) and you can't use it in portrait mode, right?
As far as portability is concerned, I'd definitely need sth quite portable but not really tiny, you know..
So, NO trackpad and a blend between portability and comfort while typing

As whacko suggested, the keyboard dock has so many benefits, that, while it's more expensive, I'd still recommend it.
The ability to add battery life, fold closed and use as a quasi-net book, keys specific to the Android OS make it a natural choice!
The other choice, if you're set on not getting a dock (they've come down in price, here in the U.S.) might be the Celluon Magic Cube. It's remarkably portable, allowing you to simply carry a small box with you, then projects the images of a keyboard on the table your TP is on.

I personally use a Logitech K750 keyboard. Solar powered, so you don't ever need to worry about batteries going dead, and it has very nice keyboard feedback (something, obviously, the Magic Cube lacks!), and is also much less then the first two options.
However, while thin and light, it IS rather long, so not the most practical to carry around and transport.
Sorry... these are the best options I know of.
Thanks for the info man! I do have the K750, it's a great keyboard, but I'd prefer sth smaller
That magic cube sounds interesting, I think I'll check it out
Hey,
This may not be the best place to post this but seemed kinda relevant.
I recently saw the Iogear multi-link bluetooth keyboard which I thought looked pretty cool. (Can't post the link yet...spam filters)
At home I have a tablet stand next to my computer monitor, and I've been playing around with extending my desktop onto my Prime and stuff like that, but I'd also like to use them separately.
I loved the idea of having a bluetooth keyboard I could use for both, not that it needs to be portable, but so I can sit on my bed and use it etc. and also, having one that could be used for both seems awesome.
The thing is, I would like it to replace my current keyboard for my PC, and I'd go mad without a numpad, and the mouse tracker just looks nasty. Does anybody know of a bluetooth keyboard/mouse setup which can be linked to multiple devices (including the transformer prime) and switched between with relative ease?
I bought a Microsoft 6000 bluetooth portable mini keyboard that's notebook size. It's a tad wider than the prime. The nice thing about it, stores like Staples and Office Depot probably carry them. So you can actually go into the store and hold them, look them over, etc. It also comes with a bluetooth number pad in a little carrying case and it's separate, so you can leave it packed away if you don't need to use it.
I bought this keyboard for my stepdad for a different tablet, and it was about a year ago I think. Now I'm sure there's a newer model number, I'll have to do a search in just a bit. Back when I bought it, there was a Microsoft 6000 Notebook Wireless Keyboard (bluetooth) and a 6000 Desktop USB keyboard, so if you google it and see different results or specs it's because it's not the portable laptop size version.
I know where the keyboard is, today sometime I will test out how it's working with the prime for you. I bet you could order the same model really cheap on ebay but since it's a good bit older, we need to check and make sure it works well.

Well, like I say it is a dicey fit if you want to use it in portrait mode, but for carrying or in landscape mode it works great. There are two speaker cut outs on the side that clearly don't work well for us because our speakers are on the front not the sides. Not a big deal.
Very pleased with it.
I've ordered it, still waiting for it to actually ship. I have a GT2 7 inch, and I'll mainly use it at home, so carrying it around is of little importance to me. Glad to hear it works fine.
Wait, so although this model is for the 10.1 model, does it still work with the 7 inch model?

It won't work as a cover for the 7 inch model but the keyboard should work. Is there one for the 7 inch tab?

I have not seen one for 7". It should work with any bluetooth keyboard compatible device but as someone said it won't fit as a cover. Shouldn't be a problem but it looks like a cover so just from a looks perspective it will be off. I suspect but don't know that the little "holder slot" would hold a 7" in either orientation, but don't know.
Can anyone confirm that this Logitech keyboard dock fits as a case and works with the Tab 2 10.1 P5113? I recently purchased this tablet on ebay and don't know much about it which is why I'm asking in regards the specific model I purchased as I noticed there are other Tab 2 10.1 models on this forum.

I ordered a case very similar to this (looks exactly the same as the official Samsung one for the galaxy tab, even with the kickstand at the back), which should arrive tomorrow. I will post here how it works with my P5110. Not sure if dimensions of the 5113 are the same as the 5110. It cost me £40 on Amazon UK including next day shipping

My bluetooth keyboard/case arrived today and I must say I am quite impressed. It looka almost exactly the same as the logitech one, but has 'Sharon' as the logo, sold by Leicke.
My tab 2 p5110 sits fine in landscape mode and it fits as a cover, but not too snugly. Will have to be careful when carrying. In short, though this was made for original tab, it works with tab 2

Just picked up this same one but mine is by Logitec. Paid like $35+ for it brand new on Amazon. It also say it's for the "Tab" but as far as I can tell, works great with the Tab 2. It fits like a glove. Only played with it for 10 minutes so can't give a full review just yet.

It is way to big for the 7.7.
The keyboard is designed to be a case and keyboard.
It may hold the 7.7 in the slot but it will not fit as a case.

Thanks. I realized later that the 10.1 Tab actually fits inside, I didn't make that connection earlier. I might get this one, but will continue to look. The major bummer of this device is that because it didn't sell well at all, the accessory pool is so limited.
A Keyboard/Case combo is fine for a larger tablet, but for 7" I found that something like that would make the keyboard way too small/cramped to make it worth using. When I need to use a hardware keyboard, I either plug the old wired keyboard I have that was for the Samsung Q1U UMPC or the HP wireless one I bought that connects via USB dongle (need OTG adapter for it).
I like both of these because they have built-in pointing devices and you don't have to reach up from the keyboard to touch the screen or carry an extra mouse to move the cursor. If you look at the pic below, you'll see two round buttons on the upper left and right sides of the keyboard and that's for the optical mouse and left click (press down on the optical mouse sensor to get a right-click).
I bought this thing for $35 last year, but now just noticed the prices have shot through the roof at $90! Here's the cheapest one I could find: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-WIRELESS-MINI-KEYBOARD-LK752AA-ABL-BLACK-/271138360926?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3f211b0e5e

Hi my friend,
Take the Apple bluetooth wireless keyboard ! So far, it is a well built keyboard. When paired with your note 3 all special keys are automatically recognized : Brigthness, volume, multimedia and even exposé button works like a charm. ALT-TAB is working as well to switch from one application to another one.
Cheers

Works great and has Android specific keys that let you do some things right from the keyboard.
I like the Logitech K-810 because it can be paired with three devices at once and hot-key switch between them. Also like the light-up feature when you put your hands near it. Tested and works great with the N3.
Have a pair of Microsoft bluetooth mobile keyboard and mouse 5000. Got them from Officemax or Office Depot in 2010 for $100 pair. They both have auto off just in case you forget to switch them off. Battery last for months. The keyboard had a soft texture mixed with a gloss finish and the keys make no sound when pushed. Worked with my S3 and Note 2 and now my Note 3.

stupid question:
are you able to pair a bluetooth keyboard (K810) and a bluetooth mouse with the GalNote3 and use both at the same time?
Well I use Apple bluetooth keyboard for my N3 and I like it.....earlier I have also used it with my ipad and I did not find any problem in using that...so I would say its a very reliable one to use....

are you able to pair a bluetooth keyboard (K810) and a bluetooth mouse with the GalNote3 and use both at the same time?

You can pair three devices as I do all the time with the Galaxy Note 3. Keyboard and mouse and bluetooth headphones. I mostly do that when its connected wireless via miracast to my tv. Its a beast:thumbup:
What about folding / small portable keyboards?
I happened to see a folding BT keyboard in Brookstone this weekend.
They had a display model and I tested it with my Note 3.
It seemed decent, but I have not yet looked at alternatives yet.
While the Logitech K810 is nice (I have a similar solar flat USB leyboard from Logitech), I am looking for a small, portable keyboard that I can take on the road (vacations etc.).
The Brookstone one is nice for those looking for a smalll portable keyboard (runs about $59.99 so there may be a more affordable alternative).
They also have this one that is a little bigger but still portable in my opinion, perhaps a good balance between form and function.
It is no cheap though! executive-bluetooth-keyboard-set-with-sleeve
They also have a virtual keyboard that uses a projection of a keyboard onto your desk.
Probably an acquired taste.
I just saw a Verbatim BT folding keyboard that is larger, however.
I like the idea of a foldable keyboard, but those I've encountered are very plastic and break easily, are there any high quality keyboards that you can fold up and have in the pocket?

I have a friend that was using something similar for a laptop hooked up to a PC. He said it was alright. I haven't heard any major complaints. I myself am looking for something similar for portable use so I dont have to carry my motorola Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth mouse.

It is not very good for typing, but it might be ok for gaming. The keys are small and sit clutch to each other so it is very easy to make typos.
Highly recommend iGo Stowaway Slim Bluetooth Keyboard.

Tip: If you are tethering your Tablet with Android Phone thru WiFi 2.4GHz and have any interference causing delay on the keyboard or mouse, use WiFi 5GHz tethering instead.
