Well, I've finally given up on the hopes of getting an official ICS/JB update on my MoPho and I think I'm going to get the LG Optimus G with my upgrade.
Anyone else planning on bailing in the near future?
Yeah I'm just waiting for the galaxy note 2 to drop for Verizon then I'm gone

CM10 keeps me running nicely, so I'll probably stick around till at least the next Nexus phone is announced. Though with the way things have been going, there might not be LTE specific versions for us and since we aren't GSM, kind of sucks.
Hi People,
Ive purchased an LG G2 32gb which im hoping to arrive today i live in the UK, i believe that the phone is either from France or Germany.

Hahahaha! Firmware update hahahaha.... No one will get it coz its LG
LG G2
Its only because i believe 4.4 is due to be pushed out end of Nov early Dec.
Im assuming they have had the firmware for a while as they made the nexus 5.
I believe the model of g2 im getting is D802
Would you know though if the firmware updates if indeed they did come, would be received if pushing to UK ?

It has to do with your phone model. Not which country your in. The d802is international. So when LG releases for that model you'll get it.
My phone was probably made over seas, and I'm in the US. Has no impact on when I will get an update.

I think he is refering to LG being the slowest smarphone maker to put out updates.

Chances are that we are going to see very few updates from LG.

As long as they do some patches to fix bugs and maybe update it one or two times, I'm happy. This phone is so much better than any other phone I have owned till now. I am pretty happy with it as it is now.

Hi,
I own a H850 running V10c-eur-xx and I've read about v10d being available. But I have not received any ota update yet.
My gps is really bugging me, since it cannot get a fix unless in the open air. With my old nexus 5 I was able to get a fix inside my house. With my LG g5, I am not. normally not a big problem, but with Pokemon Go...
Any ideas?
Ps. I have tried resetting agps data and that kind of stuff.

Which country do you live? I was also waiting a long time for update (NL). Yesterday I have used the LGUP tool and have successfully upgraded manually.

You guys try changing the time manually? I know with past phones this worked for me and others. I think you change it to 11 pm.
