Waiting for OTA and bad gps. - LG G5 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I own a H850 running V10c-eur-xx and I've read about v10d being available. But I have not received any ota update yet.
My gps is really bugging me, since it cannot get a fix unless in the open air. With my old nexus 5 I was able to get a fix inside my house. With my LG g5, I am not. normally not a big problem, but with Pokemon Go...
Any ideas?
Ps. I have tried resetting agps data and that kind of stuff.

Which country do you live? I was also waiting a long time for update (NL). Yesterday I have used the LGUP tool and have successfully upgraded manually.

.HTC Inspire Update

So I got this Inspire online, and it is having a problem with rebooting itself. I looked online and apparently there was a critical update that fixed this issue for a lot of users, and my phone doesn't have this update yet. I'm not yet able to do a Software Update due to my service not being activated on the phone. Is there another way to get this update from my phone?

Android Auto

I have updated to Lollypop and rooted it. I have a Pioneer NEX4100 that runs Android Auto. It recognizes it and installs the app but it has a connection error.
Has anyone used the Note 3 with Android Auto?
Frustrated.

Did you try to "forget" the paired device, then re pair?

I did. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I tried my wifes HTC M8 and that didn't work either. Hope it is not the radio. Yours working fine?
Also upgraded firmware 1.3

I don't have auto, just trying to help with usual stuff. It sounds like an issue with the auto, not the phones. I'd maybe hard reset the auto if you can.

Fyi, I have this same issue on my T-Mo Note 3, I have tried multiple roms on the phone, and I have tried 6 other phones!!! I think the issue lies in the cars driver support for different devices.
The only phone I was able to get to work was an old Motorola Droid... Super obscure.
Friend of mine had the same issue updated the firmware on the radio fixed it

Hmm, have you tried removing you sim and trying to get the update over wifi? Not sure if that would work, or how you would do it. Also maybe keep an eye out for someone to grab and post the AT&T update zip
I have an old AT&T Sim card. I might try popping it in the v10 and see if that works.

Ok Kool, keep me posted. I have an unlocked T-Mobile Note 5 that I may end up using on Cricket
Come to think of it, my Note5 has a bad IMEI on T-Mobile, but it did do an update over wifi
Any news with this?
I tried using an old AT&T Go prepaid Sim card and had no luck with it.
I think I'm just going to sell this phone and very an unlocked phone since the v10 I have is for AT&T and I have cricket.

You guys try changing the time manually? I know with past phones this worked for me and others. I think you change it to 11 pm.

no service on lg v10 mm

Hi everyone.
I bought an LG v10 from ebay and thought it was the global version, well it turned out it's at&t h900 version. It came with lollipop and came rooted also xD I upgrated to MM using lgup and then my phone has no service anymore ( I live in France) the basebands are unkown, I have no signal and it wouldn't ask me to unlock the sim either. I thought of flashing a modem.bin from a global KDZ file, what do you think about that?
I think root will solve my problem and since there's no root in MM I tried to downgrade to LP but my phone has an antiroll back feature -_- so now I'm stuck with a phone with no service.
If anyone has an idea I'll be very greatful.
thanks
It looks like your H900 is not seeing your carrier APN. Download 'Offline SIm database' from the Play Store run it and it will show you your APN details which you can then enter manually. You will find the APN under mobile networks.

It's not an internet connection problem. I have no mobile service, I can't make calls or anything and it won't detect my carrier.
As I stated it cannot see your carrier. Try the app I suggested.

I've tried it, no luck
Strange because I bought this H900 on eBay and it was the same, would not connect to my carrier (EE) UK. Have you entered all the setting listed, there are at least 7 items to enter.
