I've noticed that the upper border of the glass of my screen is slightly proud of the case, so that when you swipe down from the top you can feel the edge of it. Has anyone else noticed this on their phone?
Yes, until I peeled off the factory installed screen protector. Now its perfect. And the screen looks way better

Does anybody else have strange curvature to their screen? I have noticed what I apply any pet based protectors either the upper left or the lower right corner will never stick. If I start at the top then the bottom right won't stick. If I start applying it from the bottom then the upper left won't stick. I have noticed this on sgp as well as boxwave protectors. I have pressed on the corner for 5 minutes and there is still a bubble there. I am wondering if the screen is a little off.
Possible ...
My solid case is offset on the edges , and the built in screen cover will gap on the edges.
I'm going to agree with you on the curvature issue.
Although very minor, the glass is not flat ....
Great observation ....g
Never had an issue myself...could it just be the screen protector you're using?

Cheap screen protectors off ebay (6 for $10??) are cut horribly wrong, from my experience. That could be the issue. What kind you using? If you're interested in the ones I bought off Amazon (that work great, cheap but good, 2 for $10) I'll dig up a link.

I have tried the SGP Ultra Crystal as well as the ones from Boxwave. Same issue regardless. I have noticed that I had the same issue with the glas.t as well so I don't think it is the protector. I think my screen is just the slightest bit off. I guess this is possible on any phone though.
Mass produced devices, are bound to have variables...
but mine is just ever so slight, the naked eye would never see it...g
I bought a tempered screen protector and installed it last night. I noticed that the upper right corner is not sticking. I figured it would set by morning but it still doesnt stick. When I push down, it sticks and darkens but as soon as I remove my finger it is lifted again.
Is this a common issue with tempered screen protectors? I've always used the regular plastic SGP ones, and never had this issue.
Is there a way to make it more adhesive so it sticks or should I just ask for an exchange or refund?
It could happen with a case, but if you're not using a case, then that shouldn't happen. Contact the seller.
Be sure you have the glass perfectly in correct place, I had the same problem and I repositioned the glass and is fine now

Dirt and Cheap glass protector tends to do that

Please name of adhesive used in glass for sticking
If the glass is not sticking in the corners, it could be that the protector was slightly bent during the shipping/packaging process, the screen is not perfectly flat, there was dirt/residue on the phone's screen, and/or the adhesive was not evenly applied to the protector at the factory.
The adhesive, as explained to me, is a very lightly silicone-type adhesive.
Hello everyone,
Can anyone recommend to me a best quality screen protector against drop cracks for the Front Screen only ?
is Extreme Guard very reliable ?
Note: Im also using an armor case with bumper but I need a triple protection because the front screen is very fragile that even a single tiny hairline cracks can cause the touch screen digitizer to be unresponsive.

My X just came in and I think it has a really well fitted screen protector installed (behind the peel away oneplus plastic).
Anyone remove this? If so, how? I've picked at it but I'm not sure what's going on.

I removed it... I think I didn't do anything specific, just used my nail on one of the corners, I pushed and it came up (it is quite rigid). Personally I think it is much better now, almost no fingerprints (compared to the screen protector) and a smooth glass front which is a pleasure for the eyes and the touch (especially when swiping from the border).
I think i'm going to remove it too. I can see now little superficial scratches on screen protector that i think would'n see on gorilla glass 3 surface, as well as much better visual and touch experience.
Has anyone use liquid screen protector on the LG V60? I'm more interested in the screens for the second display. If so which kind did you use. Thanks in advance for your response.
Sounds like a waste of money. Magic liquid that keeps a rock from breaking your screen. The glass protectors are best. But you cant use two. It wont close right and will eventually damage the hinge. I use one on the secondary screen because it gets flipped to the back and the phone is often set down on it. I use a flexible plastic screen protector on the main screen. Even a thin plastic protector has a tint but of give and can protect against impacts to some degree. At BEST a liquid screen protector will be like a. Car wax. It does a little something but is nowhere near what a piece of glass over your screen does. At worse its a bottle of rubbing alcohol.
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking glass on the main screen and film on the other screen.

I use glass on both and just never "shut" the screen. I always fold the screen to the back when I just want one display. To me the front screen is completely worthless and I'd prefer having glass on both.
That's an option that I hadn't considered.

Every glass screen protector I've tried so far is raised on the edges and has a halo effect I can't stand it. Which ones are you guys using for the main screen and does it have the halo effect?

I don't think the screen is curved. I ordered a regular glass screen protector from Amazon and I get no Halos at all.

Can I ask what brand? Like I said every one I've tried has a halo so I'd like to try another one to see if it works.
