What LG V10 version have FM Radio? - LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, I need your advice, please tell me what version of LG V10 have FM Radio?
I rejected buy the F600L version because don't have FM Radio.
Thanks.

The H960a (European version) has FM radio built-in

Can I ask why you'd want it to have fm radio? With programs like iHeartRadio that essentially function the same in many areas.

Latest radios?

Hi there !
I'm a bit new to the whole radio thing. I know what they are and how to flash them. I'm on an unbranded Hero, I use my orange SIM mainly but sometimes switch to my other T-Mobile one. What is the latest radio I could flash, and what difference would it make? :S
Thanks in advance!
Alex

Go to www.villainrom.co.uk, click on development corner. In the announcement list should be an item about radios. Have a read of that thread
My sig has a link to the latest too
63.18.55.06PU_6.35.15.14 is only for orange, or for any Hero?
I think 6.35.15.14 is good for any hero - using it in Israel, no problems here. If it does give you problems try either the 6.35.15.11 or 6.35.15.01.
Radio's aren't region or carrier specific (typically)
Ah cheers guys, was slightly confused earlier! Thanks anyway :] I've got the updated one.
Can anybody tell me, what are the advantages of updating your radio? Does it only improve signal strength?
They affect 3G and normal signal levels, new radio's just add details of new towers AFAIK.

[Q] FM Radio App Needed

Hey guys is there a app to replace the default FM Radio in HTC Wildfire S without rooting it.
No Streaming. Only the available FM station available after attaching the headphone.

Spirit FM Radio. It is the second app when doing a Market search for fm radio.
There are others as well but all of them are hardware dependent. FM radio is provided different ways on different devices.

Thanks for the reply but i have already tried it. It says unsupported hardware.
do you have a rooted phone? rom? It's suggested to have at least root.

You should find out how your phone provides FM radio (the chip or however) and then do a search for that. Sometimes it is through the Bluetooth chip, sometimes it is built into the CPU or it could be a separate chip.

Since the New Year, Spirit has supported the Broadcom OEM/Proprietary FM API on the Wildfire S and many other devices. Even on stock, unrooted devices.
Same for the TI, Motorola and Samsung Galaxy S/S2/Note FM APIs.

FM Radio?

Hey, so I have the T-mobile US version but I can't for the life of me find the FM radio app. Any help?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
I do not want to mislead you, but I remember that the US versions of some phones did not offer a FM radio, while international models(such as the S2 international or S2 US) did have FM radios.. I do not have the S3 with me so I cannot confirm this.
Try update via Samsung Apps .

FM Radio

Anyone from Korea can confirm whether they have the FM radio in the LTE version? I'm sure normal S3 have it but how about LTE?
Also support of FM depends on hardware as well??

Thanks, I have to try that. I'm from Singapore. My phone got a QuadCore Exygenos processor with 2GB ram. So it must be same as Korean LTE version right?
Nobody from Korea can confirm this? How come in Singapore International version have FM Radio but LTE don't have? In US LTE version don't have but their processor also different. That's why I have to confirm with anyone from Korea....

[Q] Using another firmware?

Hello.
So, I got my problems fixed, but now I have a question, what if I use a german firmware in Denmark, what will it disable/enable etc.?
Regards
I guess the preinstalled apps will be different, the radio modem will be different,so there will be cellular disruption and unable to use radio and receive data.

You won't have any problems.
Baseband is same and everything will work fine.
Apps and bloatware depends on firmware you choose.
Use generic version to skip bloatware installation..
