Hi which TWRP version did you use and where from? Also could you be more specific which ColorOS version you used to acquire fastboot access?

Thanks for your reply. ?
I am using Color OS V2.1.0i in Pakistan.
It is an older version because the latest version could not be rooted. And I am not sure about TWRP version
I would be very glad to run stock android on my phone

There is no custom ROM yet. I meant which ColorOS ROM version. The ROMs are usually named something like r7kfex-ota-11 something.
I can't look it up as I'm not home
I could port CM to the R7 Lite but I will need some information from a R7 Lite user.
I made a CM port for my Oppo R7S. The R7kf is like the "smaller" brother and shouldn't differ much.

Did you install my TWRP version?
Do you have root?
If you have no root yet let me know. I can tell you how.
If yes please use adb terminal and do:
Code:
"adb shell" [Hit Enter]
"su" [Hit Enter]
"cat /sys/devices/soc0/revision" [Hit Enter]
[I]*write down output of this*
then do:[/I]
"adb shell dumpsys sensorservice"
[I]*copy output of this too*[/I]
Please install DevCheck System Info from PlayStore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.devcheck&hl=en
Launch it and go to "Hardware->Graphics"
and write down what it says at "Panel".
Thats the first information i need to gather to find which kernel to use for the R7 Lite.

I just got home from my vacation and busy pushing my own device (r7sf) into official CM.
What i can do for now is to push the TWRP i build to official. Once official we will need to find out with r7kf (R7 Lite) Rom still has a working fastboot.
As the latest ColorOS roms have fastboot removed. We will need that rom version for downgrades for those who want to use TWRP and are interested in porting a rom.
Next would be to create a thread and collect and summarize all information.
The R7 Lite does not differ much from the R7 which is already supported by CM.
As the CM Devs are working hard on unifying the R7 Series it don't think the R7 Lite users should miss out on that chance.
However i can't keep maintaining the device. The R7 Lite users who want an CM will either need:
A: A device maintainer for the R7 Lite
B: Donate a R7 Lite device to one of the CM R7 Series project devs.
I suggest B.
I was already looking around in european based ebay sites to find the R7 Lite buy it and send it to one of the two devs.
I later figured it was only sold in asian markets. So i cant aquire one here.
Best bet would be, get a working R7 Lite off cheap and send it to one of the devs.

Let me try
Did you had cloud backup this full-firmware.zip?!

sorry I don't have a backup of that ROM.
Try a search engine.
There is no maintainer for the r7kf nor has anyone approach a dev for a device donation.
If you have an unlocked r7kf and have a working twrp. you could try to kang one of the sibling devices (r5 or r7) and make it work but you will need to know how to use github, Linux and how to get the required information from the stock ROM.

i ask Firmware Backup to @Moosa Saadat, may (he / she) had place holder firmware backup

[PROJECT] Custom ROM for the SM-G360V

I'm currently working on a long-term project to get a custom stock ROM (if that makes sense) for the Galaxy Core Prime G360V. My goal is to make it exactly the same as the stock ROM, except minus all the bloat and possibly with root/SuperSU baked in. My first step in this project is complete; I have successfully extracted the root>system folder of the phone. You can download it from the link if you would like to assist me in this project. I'm still relatively a noob, so I will need some help with this. Any tips or assistance would be appreciated. Some info about the ROM I'm using:
Model no: SM-G360V
Android version: 5.1.1
Baseband version: G360VVRU3BOK2
Build number: LMY48B.G360VVRU3BOK2
Heavily inspired by Psilocelium: [url]https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-core-prime/how-to/sm-s820l-freshly-built-rom-core-prime-t3516067[/URL]
Download link (PM me if dead):
https://www.mediafire.com/?cuwxch6xch255kq
UPDATE (5/21/2017): Academics have been really busy lately, but I should have time to finish the ROM this summer. I've upgraded to the Moto G5 Plus but will still be around to help with this device. Thanks for the support, and you all will know when the ROM is ready.
Leave a thanks if this helped anyone. And if you can offer any help to my little project please PM me. Thanks!

Thanks you for sharing what you are doing. If you want some help, I can help you. If you want th build a custom Rom based on samsung stock rom, you'll need 2 computers with Linux and Windows or a dual boot (Linux to edit system image and windows to use ODIN, but you can also use linux to flash .tar, but for me its really complicated ^^ )

Yeah, same with the G360V. After I mod this stock ROM, I'm going to build cm13 or 12.1 for it
OP update, check it out.
Sorry for inactivity.
I recently lost my Core Prime and as a result cannot develop right now. But I plan on doing something a bit more radical.. making a real custom ROM, like Lineage.
If any of you can, I would really appreciate it if you would be willing to grab one of the ROMs for other variants: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...m-lineageos-14-1-samsung-galaxy-core-t3586184
Edit the updater-script (with Notepad++) to include "coreprimeltevzw" and flash it with FlashFire. Let me know of the results if you do it. As soon as I find my own I will be trying it myself. Thanks all.

Hi,
Great to hear that we got a fully working TWRP recovery for SM-C900F.
If I may suggest, Why don't you work on K2WL's Lineage Rom with his full permission for SM-C900F.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/c9lte/
It would be great. I successfully flashed both the files in the above link @ it works fine. But wifi, data, ril, camera, Sound doesn't work.
It would be great if you work on this. Please try.
Just need a Daily driver Rom..
What say?

Excuse me in advance for going OT but before trying to install custom roms, have you tried to flash global version of MIUI that is bundled with most of world languages and can fit your needs: it has got working google play, not a single china app and is working fairly well in all parts. It can be easily flashed on locked bootloader as well using miflash tool, a windows 64 bit system and putting the phone in download mode.
You can find most of informations here http://en.miui.com/thread-228048-1-1.html
@ Ivan thanks for the suggestion. Sincerely, I'm grateful. It's just I think I'm feed up with everything not custom. This is the first phone that I haven't bin able to gain root access as well as flashing custom ROM.
I want to even run twrp as well, but I just learnt of dm-verity. I just need a way out of this.

If you have already unlocked your bootloader (otherwise have a look at this: http://en.miui.com/thread-324619-1-1.html), install twrp (following instructions you can find here on xda) and then, when you access for the first time in TWRP (immediately after you flash TWRP I mean!), flash lazy-flasher that you can find here http://en.miui.com/thread-310923-1-1.html: this will patch boot.img and you will have a "permanent" TWRP that won't go away at first system restart. Now you can install SuperSU or any custom rom you want to try without any problem! Now, after much time on MIUI 8, I'm on LOS 14.1, but I've tried many other custom roms, each of one was stable and good for daily use except AEX which is a very good rom but someone (like me), on latest build, wasn't able to use internet data for a bug. CR-Droid is very good as well!

Oh
Nice!
UPDATE:
I was able to contact him and got an answer
He stated that he did not have an Xperia x to test this ROM
But told that I could test and send feedback if it works or not.
Maybe you can write a PM asking if you can test too! (Anyone who reads this can ask!)
This whole thing feels weird.
On first flash, recovery says the ROM was created by jhenrique09, who is an official maintainer of PE. But after searching both jhenrique09 and PE's official Github, there's no sign of suzu on the list. I'm assuming this is a port. This brings us to another problem.
A quick look at the file name reveals this ROM is based on 4.4 kernel. As far as I know, there is no Pie ROM out there that is using 4.4 kernel (Chippa_a's LOS uses 3.10, Omni and Treble uses 4.9). The closest thing I could think of is Omni 8, but why port a Pie ROM using an Oreo base?
Lastly, who would make a ROM for a phone they don't have?

IT seemed kindof fishy to me too but....well....it kind of boots
We could try an android 8.1 OEM file and see if it boots

it will not boot with android 8.1 an 9 oem..you just got infinity restart
I think oem already include in this rom,you can check oem file after flash the rom in /root/oem using twrp file manager
Someone needs to take some logs without patches of any sort
On the 4.4 kernel Version

Some have reported having issues backing up and restoring beginning with Android 10, where upon restoring, a bootloop/stalled boot up occurs. A root fix flashable zip was referenced as the fix to this.
The official solution to this, per TWRP managerial staff, is when backing up the system partition, use the system image instead of system. Its more reliable and efficient.

2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Install
-a. via TWRP by selecting Install, Install Image, then select the image.-b. via OrangeFox as a normal install.4. Reboot to recovery.

If i'm not mistaken, i tried coordinating with zakaryan2004 and he said ofox had the same issue. However jens 3.2.3 did have that feature. I have been unable to replicate his success on this or the 2015 version. Best advice, download the rom normally, and update that way until i can track down a patch to implement.

Np. Not sure how much he talks, i'm wrapped up in pre-10 implementations and stuff (or at least trying to get the damn thing to work), but if you can get info on that, i'll push it to both the 2015 and 2016 builds and re-release with that update
Amazing to see official TWRP for our device! Thank you so much!

I have some free time over the next few days to look into things. Can you tell me if there are any pie roms for the j510h? I'm not sure or can't exactly tell if that is supported?
