If you are stuck at just the Verizon Screen: Press and hold the power button for 30 sec to power off. Wait 5-10 mins and power on. It should work.
If not and stuck with a black screen......
You hard bricked your devices.
After you root the Ellipsis 8 tablet, it is considered Modified.
Reset, Restore, etc will no longer function and you will be stuck in a boot loop.
Best thing to do, is replace the motherboard.

Today my phone was bring finnicky and locking up, so I restarted it. Lo and behold the thing won't even boot. I don't even get a boot animation. I get a flash of LG for half a second and then blackness. Couldn't boot into recovery, so instead I booted into download mode and LGNPST back to JB stock. Now it won't boot past the AT&T logo. I see LG, AT&T, hear the little jingle, and then the screen stays the same. When I power the phone off it auto powers itself back up and tries to boot again. Endless cycle.
Anyone have any idea what's going on or how to fix it? I'm lost at this point and fear that I may have inadvertently bricked my phone. Really can't afford a new one...
You could try factory reset from stock recovery. The button combo is volume down plus power. There will be a menu screen if you get it to work.
Went in to AT&T support and that's what the guy did. It worked. Thanks, wish I had seen this post before making that drive.
I had my Ellipsis 7 Rooting using Framaroot and it was all going well until an OTA update came across. I knew I might loose root, but in SuperSU I had Survival Mode on, so I wanted to test it and see if it would work, but it ultimately didn't. What ended up happening is that after it had the "Android" logo show up it would go black, but stay backlit, and stay like that until the battery died. I took off the back to disconnect the battery and reconnect it then tried the Volume down + Power combo to reset the memory, but that only reset /data. If anyone knows where I can find a stock ROM, or if anyone has a working one that could create a flahsable .zip would be greatly appreciated.
During normal use the phone just locked up and wouldn't respond so I took out the battery and put it back in expecting for it to just turn back on but it just stayed at the Lg logo and I realized what had happened, (I have had multiple issues with this phone in the past) I just shoved it in my pocket and went on business when I pull it out again and the screen is black I click the power button and it shows (Translated from polish)

Reset phone
I've had this happen once before so I sighed angrily and pressed the button to wipe my phone. Nothing again nothing, again and nothing. The button wouldn't do anything. So I reboot it and this time it just hangs I let it go for 3 days straight on the LG logo. I try various methods to reflash the phone back to a working state none of them work and the last one is what shattered it. This is the link for it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748384 I try using that tool and it goes to 27 percent and fails so I try again and it the process won't start so I (apparently not learning my lesson about rebooting phones) take the battery out and try to get into s/w mode again. It won't go so I rush to my only computer with fast boot working and I couldn't get anything to flash onto the phone. The partitions are missing apparently. So how do I reset my partition table so I can reflash my phone. Note I did try this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2546571 but the LG software kept erroring about 25%.
Hey y'all hopefully I haven't rendered this phone completely useless, but I had rooted it some while ago and it was working like a charm until one day it froze, restarted, and bootlooped. When I left it alone for about an hour, it would boot to the OS but restarted and bootlooped after 5 minutes tops. I followed the steps by thejesus to install the original rom and basically unroot it. Now my issue is now not only is it bootlooping when I try to turn it on, but when I try to boot into recovery to do the reset, it won't even boot into recovery. It gives me those 2 options I say yes to with the volume keys and power button, but after I press okay it goes right back to the LG logo, the "your device can't be checked for corruption" text then back to the LG logo ad nauseam.

Not an option for me. Didn't pay it off under my contract and had the IMEI blocked so I changed it.
My mate from work, gave me his missus Kindle Fire HD 6 PW98VM, as device couldn't be charged so... I've replaced the battery turn on and here we goo... constant boot loop, Kindle turn on Amazon logo showing up for about 10s then screen is off and turn on again with Amazon logo. To go into recovery mode by pressing in the same time Volume Up+power and release when Amazon logo will show up, don't give any result (or maybe im doing it wrong). IS there any way to fix it by recovery mode or something to reset it do factory settings or install stock firmware. NO i don't know on what software version was running.
Any help or advice will be great.
