Android Wear notifications on PE1 6.0.1 not working - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have a G Watch R, Stock MM firmware. No matter what i do i cannot get notifications on the new PE1 update. I've re-installed, re-paired, wiped the watch, uninstalled/re-installed Android Wear. nothing. Everything else works fine on the watch, just no notifications. If i go into the AW settings and test the notifications, i get nothing either. Only thing i haven't tried yet is wiping the watch from recovery. And yes, notification access is allowed and i've tried cycling it. Anyone having similar issues?

This isn't a problem I want to see. I have a Moto 360, still on NK2, but thinking about going to gpe1 with (systemless) root/xposed if possible, but I'm worried about bluetooth connectivity with Android Wear and Garmin devices. Hope you get it figured out.

No problems at all with Android Wear, current version. My phone is on 6.0.1 and my ZenWatch 2 have been compatible with all of the apps that I used to date. No issues with BL or WiFi. Could just be an issue with your watch and not one with Asus.

Moto 360 v1 and S5 on 6.0.1 GPE1
Ok, I finally got around to doing the update and other than having to remove the phone/watch pairing, and wait for it to re-pair and re-load all of the apps, it seems to work as expected.
If only dismissing a text message notification on the watch could mark it as "read" in the Samsung messaging app.

problems with Pear Training Intelligence System after update

I bought the pear training intelligence system (basically a heart rate monitor with feedback through your headset) after confirming that it would work with the note 3. As soon as I got my n3 (stock 4.3 unrooted), I tested it, and it connected right away. :victory: Next step was of course to update to kitkat and root, which went perfectly smooth. Now the heart rate monitor won't connect any more. It actually doesn't even show up in the bluetooth available device list.
Based on the Pear training app saying 4.3, I'm assuming it is probably just not compatible with kitkat, but is it possible that there is some sort of workaround to make it work? Or that it is something to do with it being rooted?
Has anybody been able to use the Pear heartrate monitor on a rooted kitkat note 3? Alternatively, does anyone have recommendations on a heartrate monitor that does work for this phone?
Thanks.
Somebody else had kk blue tooth problems, he did a factory reset and most of it was fixed.

I actually went back to stock unrooted, still didn't work.
Rooted again, SACS kitkat v1, still didn't work.
Installed the xposed fitbit sync module. which did allow my fitbit to connect :victory:, so I hoped it would also fix whatever was going wrong with the Pear app bluetooth sync. Still didn't work.
Re-installed S-Health from the apk & the heart rate monitor suddenly started showing up in my bluetooth settings again, which it hadn't done since it was stock unooted 4.3 & it finally worked! Hopefully it continues to work properly.
It doesn't make any sense to me, so I still don't know exactly what happened, why it stopped working, or why it started working again. Hopefully this gives someone else a little direction if they encounter the same issues.

Crashes on LG G Watch 5.0.2 and Android 5.1 on Nexus 5

Hi
I'm experiencing a lot of crashes on LG G watch with Android Wear 1.0.5.1785466 and a Nexus 5 with Cataclysm 5.1 Stable version.
The G Watch crashes and I get a message that Android Wear stopped working.
After this message the watch become unstable and starts to drain a lot of battery and in a few hours it arrives at 0% battery.
Anyone else experiencing this issue with Android 5.1 (stock or other ROMs)?
Thanks

Yes, with a nexus 4 (5.0.1 or 5.0.2, stock or custom rom, it doesn´t matter) when the watch (5.0.2) looses bluetooth connection, it freezes and show this message. After a minute totally unresponsive, the watch begins to work again. It always happens.
It wasn't happening to me with cataclysm 5.0.1 on Nexus 5 with watch on 5.0.1 and then 5.0.2.
Really strange to me.
If it will happen again, I will think about going back in the Nexus...

I´m waiting for 5.1 on nexus 4, but a factory reset on both devices should fix this
I have tried several times.
Now I have tried uninstalling Android wear on phone, factory reset on watch, reinstalling on phone and reconnecting.
I will wait tomorrow and see.
I'm still getting strange drain on the watch, even if it's unpaired from the phone.
Is there a way to reinstall the stock 5.0.2 onto the watch?
Where can I download and how can I do it?
Thanks
Woody
Solved
It seems it's an Android Wear issue. Now I am back to 1724356 and I have no issue, no crashes and no big battery drain.

[Possible Fix] Moto 360 not receiving notifications paired with a Samsung device!

Hey there,
I have been having problems with my Moto 360, it would not recieve notifications from my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I have been researching the problem for weeks now, but I couldn't find the answer.
I had tried:
Rebooting the phone
Rebooting the watch
Repairing
Factory settings on both devices
Reflashing my ROM on my phone
All with no result. I have seen multiple people report that the watch works for three days in a row before stopping to push notifications. This rang a bell. Do you know what app kicks in after exactly three days? App Optimalisation. I disabled the optimalisation, and my Moto 360v2 works fine again now for over a week!
I guess this also works with any other watch, so please report if this has helped you.
oh i see, so don't optimize android wear?
Only android wear app or should you completely deactivate optimization?? My huawei with marshmallow has the same problems using the moto 360

Gear S and LG G5

Hey, I just got the LG G5 today. I've been using the Gear S for less than a year with my S6 Edge with no problems at all (after changing from the LG G Watch R, Samsung seemed to lock out the old watch with a software update).
I've been trying for the past few hours to set up my Gear S with the LG, but nothing's working. I've tried what seems to be the 2 most popular methods and neither worked. The closest I got was pairing the 2 via bluetooth in the Gear app, the watch said it needed to reboot and factory reset. But then nothing. Just stuck in an unending connecting loop.
The G5 is running Android 6, I've heard that the Gear S has some problems with that.
I don't need full functionality for the Gear S, just call and text notifications (it will do the calls via a normal BT connection but not texts). I use it as a music player as well, but since that isn't tied to the phone, I know I'll have that no matter what.
I've also heard about possibly being able to install Android Wear on the Gear S. Is that possible?
Can someone please help?

Sorry to tell you this, but gear s is locked down to only specific sammy devices. The best option for you is to flash the wear port from the development section. Then you can use it as a AW device... hope this helps

I did see the threads about flashing it to android wear, but if I do that can I still okay music out of my Gear S speakers?
Both my wife and I use it to listen to music work the need for an additional Downe speaker. If it can, then great.

Zepp App notification issues with Stratos 3

Hi all,
I have been experiencing issues with the notifications on my Stratos 3 for a couple of weeks. Very often there is a big delay from when I get the notifications on the phone to when the notifications are shown on the watch. Another problem is that I get the same notifications again on the watch some time after (even if the notifications are already gone on the phone). Also very often notifications stay on the watch after being cleared on the phone.
I have checked that Zepp app is not battery optimized and that it has access to notifications. Not sure if there is some other permission that needs to be granted which might have lost when changing from Amazfit to Zepp.
I didn't have any issues with amazfit app, I think this started when they changed the app to Zepp....
Anyone else encountered the same issues?
I'm having the same issues with Stratos 3.
However, I had them already with the amazfit app.
I'm using it with the Galaxy Note 10+. Also battery optimization is off and all other permissions given.
Notifications work normally in ultra mode!
Any help is highly appreciated.
Mmm then it could also be related to the 4.2.7 firmware update that I did recently.
I have enabled the phone anti-lost feature and I noticed that the watch is constantly loosing connection even if it is 10cm far from the phone.
My phone is a Moto One Action

My first firmware was 4.2.6.0 and I had the problem already.
I read it was better with 4.2.5.0... but I don't really understand how to downgrade.
I have a Galaxy note 10+ Deactivating "find my mobile" didn't have any effect for me.
After updating to 4.2.8 I have the same issues with the notifications and lost connection frequency.
I will raise a bug on the Zepp app and hope it is looked at
Hey there,
I had the same problem, and Zepp was configured to be battery optimized...
I turned it off and now everything is fine !

Hi! I have the same issue and I had battery optimization "ON" for Zepp, turned it off and..no result. I believe its either a bug on the firmware or some minor tweak required on the ROM( its a custom ROM, not stock). But with the Stratos 2, same phone, same ROM, no issues whatsoever...
Guys, massive improvement: tried with an older Zepp version (Amazfit 4.7.1) and even if I havent tested WhatsApp notifications all the others are super fast and I had zero connection lost warnings! Wish you all the best of luck!
Hi guys,
COuld you dump your firmware and upload?
The only way I could receive notifications properly was using Amazmod (sorry if you own an iPhone) and turning off everything related to graphics/images in notifications. They are some seconds late, but still usable though.

Dude, thanks a lot, the only thing I didn't tried, except for factory reset the phone, was an older version of the app. I could only find Amazfit Watch 2.7.2, but it's working flawlessly with it, watch is first Stratos
