Can anyone please provide me steps to install Android 4.3 or greater versions on my Canvas HD A116 phone.
first of all u should root your device (can find various tools to root via pc), install mobile uncle tools, download philz recovery and install through mobile uncle tools.
you are all set to install custom rom onto your device.
download any rom you wish to install and then go to recovery by pressing power button + vol up and vol down keys together (you have to restart your phone and while rebooting goto recovery).
in the recovery first take up backup of your phone and then install zip of custom rom

Dear Gentlemen,
I have a Lenovo A390t and I want to put a custom ROM that supports english and Google Play store app.
Currently I can not access recovery mode, and I do not know why.
Current status: It is rooted but I can not access recovery mode.
I used:
1. Root - Framaroot with the Boromir exploit, worked fine initially. Then I used Rashr.
2. Install Recovery - Rashr let me install TWRP so I installed LenovoA390_recovery.img and rebooted to recovery mode using the TWRP software in english.
It worked nicely and I could boot up to recovery mode using the TWRP recovery app.
3. Install Custom ROM - Then I started installing the Lenovo A390 gadget ROM from needroms
I did not follow the instructions. I only chose the boot.img file and I started the rom flash. It was a mistake and the flash never worked.
Now I can not access recovery mode anymore, then I hold volume up and power button, all I see after a few seconds is the Lenovo logotype, and nothing else happens afterwards. When I enter Rashr again, it says the phone is NOT-ROOTED, even if I have run Framaroot several times and it says: Success!
How can I get TWRP recovery to work again?

All I get is the LOGOTYPE as soon as I press the power button. NOTHING else.

The idea is to set custom ROM on my Coolpad F1 device. I followed the guide from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785891
Steps done:
HOW TO ROOT IT :
flash Coolpad-F1-root (wcdma).zip with stock recovery
RECOVERY (i prefer cwm)
1.put the recovery.img in root of sdcard
2.download mobileungle tools open it hit recovery update and flash the first recovery
As next step I copied the custom rom zip (AOSP_V4_KK_laek.17_with_v3_kernel.zip) in the SD card root directory and wanted to reboot into recovery mode to install the new rom.
The phone just reboots normally after I reboot it using the power&volume+ combination, meaning: I can't access the recovery mode screen no more.
Also tried accessing the recovery mode with some other software (QuickBoot -> reboot in recovery mode). The result is the same - the phone just normally reboots.
How to handle this?

Got it working. Just flashed another recovery, custom TWRP by martinoff (modaco forum). Installed the new ROM without problems.

My android tablet iBall Brace-X1 which is with Android 4.4.2, Kernal 3.4.67 and MT6592. Its RAM is 2GB with 16GB of internal storage.
I did root it successfully but not able to install any custom recovery.
I tried many editions of TWRP but It doesn’t support any of TWRP editions.
Also it doesn’t support ClockwordMod.
While unlocking bootloader, I used ‘fastboot oem unlock’. I confirmed on tablet screen by press Volume Up but no changes on screen of computer and tablet. Even after 45 min, there are no changes on tablet screen and command prompt.
When I did google search, I found CyanogenMod 11 and CyanogenMod 12 would be compatible with this but I am not sure that which Custom ROM is compatible with it (Android 4.4.2, Kernal 3.4.67 and MT6592).
Please assist me for all above concerns.

Ctr custom recovery for iball brace x1
Hi friends, I ported ctr recovery for iBall brace x1. Fully compatible In touch and mode . first of all root the device. If you don't know how, just google it.
1- download the recovery image attached below .
2- install flashify or similar flashing app.
3- backup your current recovery.(it may be used to recover stock recovery in case of any disaster)
4- flash the downloaded recovery.
Restart in recovery mode done.:laugh:
i have gionee p4s phone and i tried to install the cwm and twrp recovery but the stock recovery automatically install on reboot. pls help

U can do it with rashr app iam using the same phone with twrp installed
I have Qmobile Noir Z10 (Wiko Fever-MT6753] what is have done is:
1. Unlocked its bootloader by following guidelines and
2. Flashed CWM recovery successfully.
But
When i try to boot into CWM (by pressing vol-up+power) it goes to Stock Recovery Every time.
Pressing vol-down+power = Factory mode
Pressing vol(up+down)+power= Nothing
Anybody help please.. ..
flash twrp recovery and qmobile z10 has stupid custom roms if you want good custom roms you may try flash wiko fever rom by spflashtool because it has awesome custom roms
