I've received my p9 plus from Vodafone and it is locked. Got it pay 19.99 to unlock.
Initial impressions, overpriced for £500.00 64gb.
Screen quality is quite good very vibrant n ui is pretty clean.
Camera lots of options not tested yet.
Fingerprint excellent works every time and minimum fuss to setup, one of the quickest.
Design Feels and looks premium quite comfortable to hold in the hand.
Sound loud and clear better then most top end phones including S7.
Force touch works pretty well and does the job. Bit gimmicky not sure how often i would use it.
I wish it was qhd then it would justify the price tag.
If you've got any questions do feel free to ask will try to answer.
I returned my phone as I didn't feel it was worth the price tag.
Even though you have unlocked it, does it still have Vodafone branding? Can you also be sure that you will be in line for OS updates as soon as Huawei release it, and that doesn't have to go through Vodafone first, if the OS had been modified for them?
Also do you think the speaker quality compares favourably to the HTC One line?

I have compared the speaker audio quality to my colleagues HTC One 10 and P9 plus is both louder (in landscape) and of better quality (spoken words were clearer). Even my colleague was impressed.

Why not just return it if not happy? I got mine unlocked for £3.59 eBay took 7 days. I'm awaiting for return label from Vodafone. Defenitly not worth 500 better off buying nexus 6p for that sort of money.

Yes oneplus 3 is better value for money but camera and sound wont be nowhere near as good as p9 plus. Other then that it looks good.

Using the P9+ side by side with my brothers S7edge, i have not noticed anything exceptionally different on the screen of s7e yet.
The s7e has advantages like sharper images in low light camera and wireless charging (edge screen a bit of gimmick and ui is really boring and annoying)but so does p9 plus excell in other areas. End of the day it comes down to relative personal priorities on what sacrifices they are willing to take on their phone. In my view, no phone of this price is worth the price and that includes s7e. I got this device because it got me addicted to it willing to throw in the big price.
There are ofcourse other budget ranged high spec phones from China but they all have lot off serious user complains and does not meet all rounded spec and quality control level that p9+ brings.

Fair enough my biggest issue is the price tag, just isn't worth 500. I was really interested in the force touch technology but in the end it felt just gimmicky since only few apps used the function.
The phone ticked all the boxes for me it's thin, 5.5 screen, good speakers, good camera, good signal, good design, OK software. Should have been priced around 360 mark and I think it will drop price very quickly.
64GB with Dual sim beats the 32Gb from Galaxy S7/Edge with only 32Gb

Sent you a PM.
Had to get on Vodafone as not available on others yet. Unlocked it so I can continue using O2. Vodafone a bit ****. Still has Vodafone start up screen and apps. Disabled apps.
I may root it. I think the phone is great. I've had all the main competitors. Screen excellent but as mentioned it's not QHD. Finger print scanner one of he best. Camera also one of the best.
Their UI is pants in my opinion. You have to select your goto app. EG Nova launcher won't default until you allow it to. In other phones it will just default when you select. You have to do this for a few key apps.
Design is very nice. Brushed metal, although it does feel a bit like plastic but it is metal.
Just as add on thoughts. Battery life seems excellent. Not sure if they have a DAC in there but the sound quality is very good.
Also, when watching films and the like; the top earpiece becomes a tweeter speaker and the bottom becomes a woofer. Not unlike the HTC 10. Quite impressed at the quality.

Simple question really. I was torn between the note 3 and the one max. I am still debating whether to switch from the max to the note.
I picked the Max because:
1. I am tired of touchwiz
2. I like the extra size, screen, speakers, and build quality.
3. I like HTC
4. I had the note2 and never used the stylus and found most of the added features gimmicks. I never used multi window features. I had it for the screen size.
Why am I questioning the purchase of the Max?
1. Why pay the same price for the Max when I could get the note3 and get all the added features, even if I don't use them, I would at least have the option. ( This really is the biggest reason. I never used the stylus on the note2, but all the new options make me wonder if I would find it more useful.)
2. Camera
3. The reviews online...and I have literally read and watched countless reviews before making the decision.
I don't know if HTC had plans to make added features for future updates, but off this phone becomes a bust, I am worried there won't be much,if any support for it

I agree with all your positive points above. I would also add that I prefer LCD screens to amoled any day of the week. Amoled is too vivid for me. I prefer sharpness and true color. Also IMO the camera is not a negative. It may not have all the megapixels of others and unfortunately no optical image stabilization but for use indoors it is great. I can actually take a picture using the regular settings and not have the pictures come out dark. That is a benefit of the ultrapixel.
In a nutshell all the reviews have to say is how the Max uses the One chipset. They think just because it's not the newest it's not worthwhile. What's strange is these same people didn't blast the Moto X for coming out with such a crappy old chipset...
I will close out with saying now that I have used the stereo forward facing speakers of the Max I cannot stand using a single rear facing speaker phone. Why use android which is built for media consumption (all are 16:9 screens vice 4:3) if you can't hear what you are watching?!?

I also Agree with both of you. I choose the Max and specifically waited for it due to the screen size, the Speed(I am not worried about it not being a Snapdragon 800), the Designed and Front Speakers. Having a Fingerprint reader, NFC are great but the MicroSD card in combination of everything else made it my next device. I got it on Verizon EDGE so if something comes along in the next 6 months I have to have I can upgrade again.
Win Win.
I forgot about the sd card. Nice call. It's awesome having that extra space. And HTC did it perfectly by having a back cover that you can remove to get to the card and NOT have to hold the battery in while you do it. (I'm looking at you samsung!)
Since you asked ill be realy honest Ive had almost every phone you can think of and haven't had an HTC phone as my oficial driver since the evo 3d (had the HTC one I'll get in to details in a moment)and since the 3d I hated htc the one sucked completely don't now why they made it so bad had 3 in a month camera broke out of magic, but the one max is the solution. The note 2 was the best thing that have ever happened until now yes the HTC one max as of now is my favorite, now that I have soff it's designe, solid, battery life, screen, sound and camera(not the best but not as horrible as others say) the finger scanner works perfectly (don't now why people just don't know how to use it) I love this phone it haves everything I've always wanted
Ive been battling between these two phones and I hate to say it - but I'm almost positive I'm going with the Note 3.
I've been an HTC fan having owned the original evo for two years and now the ElteVO since launch day.
I was leaning toward the Max as I have been happy with HTC and I thought I preferred LCD to amoled, but I recently got to play with both phones at a sprint store and I was disappointed with the brightness on the Max. Plus I found it kind of boring after owning nothing but HTC for 4 years.
I'm also very disappointed with the support and development for the Max. I love rooting and trying different roms. The evo ElteVO support wasn't even strong enough to satisfy my flashing disease and that phone had alot stronger following than the Max appears to.
My biggest fears going with the note 3 are screen burn as I run full brightness and use my phone alot for work and also the GPS as in the past Samsung GPS haven't been known to be as strong as HTC.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the decision to get this phone. I really wanted the HTC One, just bigger. This phone was just what I was looking for.
The feeling that I should have gotten something with all the features still bugs me, but I am pretty sure that I will be keeping the phone.
I am actually happy with the camera, but still worried there won't be many updates for this phone from HTC if it doesn't end up selling well

I used to have a few htc phones, but the evo 3d was the last one for me.
I have had 4 Samsung phones in a row, and initially I thought they were the only way to go, but, the plastic builds, the advent of Knox Security, and the fact I never used my S-pen, it was time for a change..
This phone is fantastic for what I do with it; sound blows away any other phone, screen is as clear and crisp as anything every made, and I like the aluminum housing too!
Oh, 32 gigs INTERNAL storage, when coupled with a 64 gig card is great too! Its nice to web surf and not have to stretch everything so you can see it!
No idea why so many reviewers panned this phone; fingerprint scanner works perfectly, and who care about a snapdragon 800.
There is no lag or slow down on this phone, so hopefully more folks will ignore what the stupid reviewers say, because once you try this phone, you will buy it.
I want to say that I agree with all of the positives posted here. I almost bought the note as this was not out the night i was researching and Verizon did not really tell anyone when it was coming. The next day when clicking upgrade it was there in my face. I read reviews and everyone was bashing it because the size was bigger but nothing else really changed. Then the complained about them getting rid of the unibody but then praised it for adding the sd card slot. Thats when I lost all faith in phone reviewers. They must all be secret iDevice lovers. I want to say I love this phone over my S4. It is a bit heavy when talking on it but I really do not use the phone feature much.
get yourself a decent BT headset, and you can leave the phone in your pocket!
plus, if you get the right headset. you can just push the talk button on your headset, and google will come up and ask you who you want to call, and its been 100% accurate for me so far.
Time will tell man. I have note 3 & just got a HTC one max ordered today. Will get next week. Can't wait to try it out

you wont notice any lag what so ever, it would have been nice to have the 800, but all that matters is actual performance, NOT specs..
plus, you can take notes with the scribble app, so if you want to, you still can

Yeah no pen though built in which is really nice and yeah I had zero lag on my HTC one and if the one max performs that well with a bigger screen and sdcard I'll be one happy camper!
Sent from my N900V Dev Edition
I bought 2 ones for my wife and son, and they both came from note 2's and love the htc one..neither of them used the pen much either, and they both say the one seems even faster than the note 2.
Yeah, the max is just a gigantic one, with larger screen, larger speakers, larger everything! Of course the reviewers don't like that; they think it needs some special phablet features, and that no one will just want a gigantic htc one.
I for one wanted a bigger htc one specifically, so for me, its been fantastic!
hit up Amazon for cases and SP's; Sprint wants an arm and a leg for that stuff, and for what I would have paid for one case at sprint, I got 3 cases, and 8 screen protectors!
Amazon has quite a bit of stuff for the Max already; I am still trying to find a desktop dock for it, and then I will be a happy camper!

The OnePlus 5 felt like a big disappointment for me. I was using a OnePlus 3T and decided to do the upgrade to the 5 because I had someone buy my 3T for a pretty good price. The disappointment with the OP5 started with the fact that the camera was a MAJOR let down. They hyped it so much, but in fact performed no better than the OP3. The 2nd let down is the lack of water resistance. I got OP5 right when I went on a family vacation and it bothered me that my wife was able to take her iPhone 7 to the water and I couldn't. The last reason for my decision to return it was OPs stance on OS upgrades. Seems more iffy than Samsung's. As for the memory, I had the 8GB model and yes, it's great to have because apps stay open, but it doesn't affect how quick the UI is (in comparison to the XZ1).
Anyway, I ended up with an unlocked Samsung S8+ but I returned it as well because the long screen and weird aspect ration makes using the phone really hard. Also, the phones stuttered a lot (thanks to Sammy's bloatware) and the Bixby physical button will drive you CRAZY. Bixby is crap (compared to Google Assistant) but you can't avoid clicking on the damn button because it's so close to the volume down button. Last but not least, the fingerprint reader is in the most inconvenient location.
Hope this helps.

Very usefull Thanx. So what are you using now?
I already made up my mind and will go for the XZ1. I really liked (and always liked) the Sony design and don't mind the bezels at all... plus in pre-order you get a BT headphone which was on my wish list for a while.. win-win imo
Sure thing.
I actually ended up getting the XZ1. I've alway been a fan of Sony's design and unique aspect. I also don't mind the bezels in the least bit, especially since I I didn't find the S8+ that user friendly, always felt like I was bending my thumb downward or stretching it up in an unnatural fashion.
Can't beat the free BT headhphones. Obviously don't have that option in the US, especially since I got an international version on eBay anyway.

My opinion is that if Google phones of the year have 4gb then it is sufficient...

Okay... so that went fast, phone looks great, but I have dicided to put it up for sale... I don't like the screen, have issues with wifi, and Bluetooth FC when I turn it off and also when I try to use the buttons of the connected headset (play, pause, volume) I sometimes does not respond. The overall feel is that Sony might have been better of to wait with presenting the phone with Oreo out of the box...
I have aimed my arrows for the OP5T. Meanwhile I am using the OP3T again... sorry Sony... I do like the headphone tough

Definitely not worth it. Better go for a phone with Snapdragon 660 or 710....
well, as last comment sayd better go with some SD710, if you can wait you can buy a Xiaomi Mi8 SE with SD710 for more 50 dollars more with better specs.
For me it's the best smartphone in this price range. Everything is at least very good, with no downsides.
My girlfriend bought it to replace her iphone after trying mine and she is truly happy with it.
I won't ever spend more than 300-350€ in a phone, because the increase in price is not worth it. And there's no better option. I won't buy a Xiaomi phone because its poor software. Also the Mi8 SE has no ip68, no radio fm, no 3,5 mm jack, no sd card slot, smaller battery... And we'll see what reviews says about its display or camera.

Poor software?! i mean, is not poor, is less intuitive, but with MIUI 10 around the corner it will be better, and feature wise Xiaomi is way better than LG, i can tell you because i already have some Xiaomi's to play for a week or twoo and you can see in my phone history i already have a lot of LG phones and i can tell you:
If LG put half (right, half) of the features of Xiaomi have i can be more happy. LG have some advantages like microSD, better camera, better screen and design...its about that only, nothing more impress with G6, with Xiaomi (and i am talking about mid to high end Xiaomi's) you experience is a lot better even tho the things is a little bit unorganized, spread all around settings and its hard to find some things sometimes but its OK.
I bought my G6 a moth ago, and i am happy...but now i go to store, play around with Mi MIX 2 and compare it to my G6 (at the time i can get both for around 350) and now, if time could be pushing back i chose Mi MIX 2 over G6...but i can live with G6 anyway.
Its my opinion, you make your choise, i just say my experience with both brands...
Sure MicroSD card is a must have for some people (me too) but you can learn to live without...trust me, like IR Blaster and HiFI DAC, my V10 have that and i can live without that with G6 (the featureless phone i have for a long time).
Well speaking of software it's always subjective, but for me it's very bothering that MIUI is too intrusive. I mean for example, I had a lot of problems trying to set Signal as default messing app instead the built in one. It kept auto changing back to default from time to time.
Xiaomi is always very good overall for its price, but right now I don't think there is a phone more complete than G6 for its price.
if softwer update is not important for you i suggest you buy a G6 its better for you buy a H870 Eu model or US997 if u are in usa this two models are officialy bootloader unlocked and get better software updates and dont buy dualsim one at all advantages of G6 : main camera is pretty good , screen quality is very good at this price better than iphone i compared with my friend , u can experince a good sensation with UX6 interface of G6 , some one say that this phone has battry drain but my phone does not have this problem , just only thing i dont like it is selfi camera and at last i can tell u this phone is very good at this price i tell u again if softwer update is not important to u close ur eyes and buy a G6
No one has mentioned the G6 has a flat screen with no curves. This makes tempered glass installation really easy and you get full protection. Otherwise the phone is really good. My wife's has not given her any trouble.
Well I can get the Eu Version and it has Oreo. And I was thinking if it get poor Software update I can flash it manualy. I even have this conspiracy in my head that after some point the companies like Samsung send you some cool improvment update which for Example drains your Battery on purpose. From the G6 i am expecting normal to good Battery life and some cool Photos. I saw that with Google Camera there is better Quality. And yes i do want the 3.5mm jack and Im looking for a phone to carry me 2 years. But I just dont see good Mid Range Phones for Max. 400 Euros Also I have Samsung S9 in my hands that i got from my new contract but I will try to sell it for 500 becouse it has The Battery draining Exynos Version.
Don't ever think to buy an ''lg'' phone!! They don't care about the consumers! And their support is terrible!

THIS ! I'm sick of searching for screen protectors for curved glass screens. They never cover full surface nor look good after installation.
I regret at times, try to avoid
Software updates sucks, lags a lot, it feels like snapdragon 600 series processor (I have 20-25 off apps).
Camera at the back is amazing, front camera is pathetic(although u can download google camera, but still front camera sucks in most of the siltation)
Battery is very ok. 3.5 hrs screen on time. I would definitely not suggest. I was so frustrated with battery and lagging issues i bought a secondary phone (redmi note 5 pro and it is wayy better)
Audio output is ok compared to other mid range phone of 2018. Although screen is good but not great in 2018
Try buying from aliexpress, MI Mix 2/2s are extremely good phones and it does not look as copy of iphone x as well.
apart from camera, everything sucks

Well speaking of software it's always subjective, but for me it's very bothering that MIUI is too intrusive. I mean for example, I had a lot of problems trying to set Signal as default messing app instead the built in one. It kept auto changing back to default from time to time.

You can always change software. Most of the xiaomi phones have a custom rom/software. As a senior member, you should know that I always change my rom when i hate stock one. I dont know about you, but i dont throw phones out because of firmware (except iphones and windows based phones xD).
Or should i get me the V30 for 200 euros more (500 total) I really want this Wide Camera and good Battery life. Altho v30 is a little bit to big for my hands.
I'm going to join in as I'm looking to buy a new phone. I was almost convinced that I would buy LG G6 but I just browsed G6 rom development forums and wow it's pretty stall. My current Galaxy S4 has more options inluding LOS 15,1.
I was also looking at Honor 10 but then I found out that Huawei blocks bootloaders so it's a no no for me.
Seems like XIAOMI phones have really solid community and plenty of roms to chose from.
Xiaomi MI6 and mentioned here Xiaomi MI8 SE look really great but they lack a few features I would like to have such us 3,5 mm jack, SD card slot.
Not sure what to do now I kind of not want to be stuck with LG G6 running stock Android 8,1 for another 2-3 years.
I know the ROG phone forums have always been a little slower than most but no new post in over 3 days! I pre-ordered the S10 plus but after about a week and a half I sent it back and returned to my ROG phone. Is anyone still here with me?
I'm still here. Keeping my phone. The S11 might be worth an upgrade next year, but not the S10.
Here~
Rog phone is a good enough device.
Whew! Just glad I'm not completely by myself.
I am not going to leave this phone.
I didnt eeven care about getting new phone. As for me ROG is quite amazing piece of Tech.
Needed VoLTE and VoWiFi. Otherwise I will dump it.

I don't think rog phone's design will be outdated in these next 3 or 4 years. I'm sure they will still look cool! That's why I won't change my main phone with the other ones.
I will change if I won't get VoLTE and VoWiFi. Nice design but useless phone while trying to talk. Poor sound quality due to 3G call and lack of signal at home pushing me away. I've got Pixel 3 XL and works great but don't have 3.5mm jack. Note 9 was my nr1 untill ROG but now I regret I've sold it. Also had OnePlus Avengers edition and it was one of the best.
The Red Magic 3, a new gaming phone, might be worth a look.

I'm pretty sure to sell the ROG for going back to OnePlus, just waiting for 14th May to see the 7Pro.

Because ASUS tries their best not to honor their warranty, this will be my last ASUS phone. I can't afford a new phone this year, but a lot of cool phones coming out. I'm also interested in possible under screen selfie/front camera in next year models. The screen becomes transparent when the pixels in front of the camera are turned off. Very cool!
I want to sell my ROG phone but currently there isn't a better phone in comparison with what I need!.
Needs:
1. A better dual front facing stereo speakers phone (All the new gaming phones "Red magic 3, black shark 2" included fail in comparison.
2. True bezeless phone without 1 side having a chin or bigger bezel. Either a symmetrical small bezel design or no bezels at all (currently non out there)!. No compromises here!
3. Better Camera!
4. Atleast 8 GB Ram. For all of you suggesting the Pixel 3.
There isn't a single phone out there with all 4 needs fulfilled!
I love the ROG phone but its selling price is depreciating by the day, and my phone is starting to show its age so selling it as fast as possible to recoup some cash for the new upgrade is the best course of action.
My best bet is to wait for the ROG 2, hopping it will overcome all of the ROG shortcomings.
With all the negative feedback about ASUS customer service that is out there, I would say it's dependent on your luck and which country you are in. I still own my Nexus 6p which I bought from Malaysia, Huawei customer service there was top notch in comparison with other countries (I am sure by now you have heard about all troubles this phone had brought to its owners). So coming back to my point which is i will still buy an ASUS phone because all the smartphone brands out there have some terrible customer service and i can't drop the brand for just that, i have owned phones from all the different brands out there and all had one common thing they all had issues in some way or shape.

The front-facing speakers were one of the main reasons I bought the ROG and I was disappointed that the top speaker didn't sound as good as the bottom! The top speaker is a midrange speaker while the bottom speaker is full range. They should have used a full range speaker for both. I saw that there were two different speakers when I watched the teardown youtube video. So I tested and they are different.
What's the general feel on the phone - solid?
How's the current development - kernels for miui?
Any common defects in this line ?
How much slower is it than 855 in gpu?
Is it a good option for ~$230-$250 (6/128) ?
if u r not into the looks of the phone or u r the guy who uses back covers....and can live with average display...this is still the best phone under 250$...and xiaomi still giving updates on security patch and other bug fixes and miui updates....
1. it feels solid the build quality is really good. its little bit heavier than otherr phone but once u get used to this phone the weight will not bother u much..i get 6 hours of sot on average it will last whole day...i am facing no defects till now...it is quite slower than 855 but difference is not much considering the price difference of this and the k20 pro...

I recently bought it and very satisfied. Exceeds expectations. I see people are having touch screen defects, I don't have, I live in eastern Europe and I have warranty for two years, if something goes back I give it to the warranty service while they provide replacement during the service period. I hope this won't happen but yeah, for the price the phone is gold. Powerful, stable, bright and colorful display. People always talk about phone displays like they even understand color science or work on the phone to color grade movies. I recommend the phone and if there is touch issues, test before u buy the unit.

xiaomi stores sells you the phone in a sealed box, you cant test before you buy and the official warranty can sometimes be a joke when the authorized service center are a bunch of amateurs.
and by the way,my unit worked fine for more than 6 months and am 80% sure my touch problem is software related but xiaomi just dont have the will to fix it!!

Do you think the bug got introduced in between some firmware update?
I've read some kernels trying to implement the touch fix bug for some panels, have you seen it?

i,ve been living in a nightmare for the past 3 weeks since the touch issues started out of nowhere....i read and commented in every thread that discussed touch issues,kernels.....etc on xda and i am almost sure its a software issue that may have been introduced (god knows why).
DONT invest money in xiaomi(my old xiaomi mi max 1 touch is way better than poco f1).....they make phones with much less quality everyday.....just a tech/spec race.

Seems feedback is all over the place. So I speak for myself, and for a friend who bought the pocophone as well (both bought in Belgium):
- really solid battery life
- MIUI os is stable enough (10.3.6.0), no major bugs, although not on the level of f.e. Samsung's UI.
- screen is below average, but that we knew upfront
- performance is the best selling point for this thing. It is fast, and smooth
- no touch issues
- no screen bleed issues
- ridiculously low price for the hardware used
- camera is pretty good, but search XDA for the gcam adaptation. It pulls the most from the sensor.
- screen is scratch resistant for now (own it for a few months without screen protector)
- the soft case that comes with the phone is kinda cheap, but does the trick
- it charges fast
- Xiaomi was a kind of a gamble for me as they are not well known for swift updates and long term maintenance. But I can always unlock the bootloader and install an aosp version such as pixel experience. For now, they come with regular updates but always are 2month behind (so now in August we have the June security update.
- One intermittent issue with Bluetooth (in combination with my mercedes): sometimes audio stutters for a second. Deactivating bluetooth and reactivating it on the phone solves it and we're good again for a few weeks.
All in all: a really good phone if you don't use it in very bright outside conditions (again: screen is below average). I come from a Samsung S7 edge, and I only miss it's high res amoled screen to an extent. The latter is undeniably better in color representation and brightness.
You want a better screen for the same price, try a Samsung A40. But performance and battery life will take a severe hit.
Also, people tend to compare them to equally performant smartphones, but they are typically in another price range. Don't do that, compare apples to apples and decide: you want the performance, or you want a nice screen / fancy looking smartphone?
Nothing in the same price range comes close to it

Agreed, have had the phone since March this year and have had none of the issues that keep getting mentioned on various Pocophone threads. This phone for me is perfect on MIUI 10.3.6.0 Global Stable for my use. Some YouTube, Facebook, Netflix and usually an hour of PUBG and/or Blades daily and normal texting/WhatsApp and calls. Usually have 30% battery left by bedtime.

Had mine about a month, love it.
Coming from an HTC U12 which had useless buttons and a display that you can't see in sunshine I tried an Exynos S10e which could not hold a phone call for any length of time. Personally I couldn't find anything else on the market that wasn't huge that had a flagship SOC (albeit last years), SD card slot, headphone jack and unlockable bootloader.
Haven't had any of the issues others have, mine is a global version bought in the UK but I had to get rid of MIUI, so there is plenty of AOSP roms to try.
Fwiw I've settled on AOSiP and arter97 kernel and get 6-8 hours SOT and a phone that keeps calls when I'm driving around.
The only downside is the camera is just about fine.

Yep! Coming from an HTC though and missing OIS the Xiaomi is still second place. For the price though its great!
There is Oneplus rom port for Poco F1. I tried it's pretty nice, faster, smoother and touch is better/sharper, battery about the same as use Miui rom (I use vendor-firmware 9.6.27 for Oneplus rom)
I am from India and I can tell that the phone launched (6, 64) at ₹21000.
Now in the Flipkart sale you can get it at 16.5k.
I myself have ordered it today.
One of the main reasons to buy this phone is that it has excellent development support at xda community and unlocking the bootloader won't void your warranty. So If you are into custom ROMs this is best flagship level budget device.
Myself being a custom ROM enthusiast, I decided to go with it.
So Yes even today this is great value for money phone despite it lacks few things like it is really ugly looking because of that huge notch and considering all new even budget phones are coming with the drop notch or full screen display, this is a trade-off.
i'd say go for it its worth the price, i've had it for around 4-6 months with no issues, im coming from a galaxy s6 and honestly the display isn't that bad compared to it the only thing i noticed is that the galaxy s6 is like 50-80% brighter but you'll notice it only if your using your phone outside.
