If you already have it, you could open a thread here, in gear fit/general, until proper sub-forum is opened...

yes, it would be good one for fit 2
we wait for forum for Gear Fit 2

Yup - there's a lot of great things happening with Ace, so we wanted to put it back on the main index.
Most of the carriers in Asia just released the Galaxy Ace this May 2011 and June 2011. That's probably why we're seeing greater activity now for the Ace than before.

Adding to the topic, i think it is one of the most popular phone in my college.. I was one of the first to buy it here and since then i swear more than 70-80 of my friends have bought it after taking a look it.

hey,my first galaxy sii died on me 2 months ago (motherboard failure) and now I have a nokia 500
question is is it worth buying a used Galaxy s2? or wait for an s3?
and what about development is it still good as it was 2 months ago?

Please search the forum. This question has been answered soo many times.
Yea, S2 development is still strong, but all you had to do is go to the forum and look yourself.
You can find all the answers yourself, you just need to put in some effort

I already did,but I was just taking daily users' opinions.
thanks
The s2 is still a solid device to have but most of the focus has shifted to the s3, i would suggest to just get a s3 as it's more future proof. Luv my s2 tho

Isn't asking on forums part of doing research -_-' ?

It's fairly simple.
Have enough money - Galaxy S3
Don't have that much - Galaxy S2 is still pretty awesome, I bought it 3 weeks ago, and it works like a charm!

I used the SII when it first came out. If it's a good price, why not? I think it's still a good phone. but the s3 is already out. Is there a reason why you would prefer a S2 over a S3, other than the price?

Well the larger,HD screen, more development support, using the great sound chip (wolfson) and more future-proof
I guess I'll just wait for an sIII thanks guys
Hey guys, I searched for this, but didn't really find an answer. so here it goes...
I am upgrading my phone 9/22, I had a Samsung Infuse 4G, I wanted to get some real world opinions about the Galaxy Note. How well does it work for you? Are you happy with it? Are there any ram issues(not enough?).
I'm trying to decide between the Note and S3, I know the S3 is newer and has more ram, but I'm really leaning toward the Note.
So what say you?

Both are great phones, I'd wait for the note2. You'll be saying that when it comes out

I would also wait for the note 2, if you can hold out that long. If not, with all of the awesome devs here, we have most of the features that the s3 has plus the advantage of the bigger screen. So I would pick the note.

I would also wait for the Note 2 if you can stand it. OG Note is great, but note 2 should be even better.

No worries, and if you decide on a Note or S3, or the Note 2, all have great support and the Communities of user are great and providing, I have been in all those threads, and as you know coming from the Infuse Community that being a great supportive Community, You will have no problem in any of these mentioned Threads/Community. IMHO
Good Luck & Thx....you might see some familiar names in all these threads mentioned above...
I have infuse and note. My co-worker has S3. Note is way better then infuse. But only 1gb ram. S3 has 2gb ram so It works better then note sometimes. Note2 will be the answer.

I am a complete newbee fresh off the apple bandwagon (and hopefully never looking back). I'm using this tablet primarily for note-taking in class and have a few questions regarding S-note and would be grateful for any guidance (sorry if these were asked elsewhere, I looked and didn't see anything).
Is there a way to select and move a portion of a note to a different part of the page?
Is S Note the only note taking app that will work with the S pen or is there any others that may be better?
I notice the button on the pen doesn't seem to do anything in the app, is this true? Can you set it to, for example, work as an eraser (or selector) when pressed?
Any additional advice on taking notes with this tablet? It seems to have an underwhelming level of functionality with how much the S-pen is touted. But then again I'm hoping it's just my naïveté.
Thanks in advance!
You're in the wrong forum sir. The one you should be in is the samsung galaxy note 10.1 forum.

Hi guys --
I have been out for a very long time from XDA and Android scene, huh? Well yeah - I decided to kiss a major goodbye to Android in general. I moved to Windows Phone 8. BUT! I'm coming back. I have ordered Ace 3 and this post is basically an announcement of a new project with aim to deliver aftermarket firmware to Galaxy Ace 3.
I'm hoping I can do some good when it'll show up. Until then I'll research the platform.
