Auto Debloater on every flash of Cyanogenmod or nightly updates, Helps in speeding up boot + Saves Ram and battery if you want to keep apps just add # in front of the line
Viper with Drivers no need to install driver and reboot after every nightly update ota survival (Perfectly Working with all apps Example Spotify , Wynk, Poweramp , Gaana Youtube Etc
Xposed installer with framework pre installed ota survival
Oxygen OS Camera 3.0.2 ota survival
Busybox + Supersu zips needed
Steps To Follow
1:You need to install cm 13 nightyGet CM
2:Gapps Gapps
3:My Super Su 2.74 which is modified version with garbage cleaning and without supersu apk so your device won't reboot twice after flashing super su you can download supersu from playstore or i will provide supersu apk link you can convert supersu app to system also if you want,
remember super su is mandatory zip for working viper and few more things as supersu patch the boot.img so that we can execute files which is present inside su.d which is similar to init.d so that we can execute script on boot time . any ways those who don't want supersu and want to use internal cm root + want to use viper and script properly just delete the file su.img inside /data/su.img reboot. Super SU
4:Busybox v1.24.2 Busy Box
5:Init.d+build.prop+Debloater Init.d Build prop + Debloater
6:Xposed-v85-sdk23-arm64 Latest Xposed
7:Viper_SeLinux_Fix Viper OTA
8:MISC Apps + OOS Camera ZIP OOS CAM + MISC APPS
These zips are only one time flashing
after this for every nightly update or any cm official update
you only need 3 Files
1: OTA survival script inside /system/addon.d Ota Survival Script
2:Supersu zip SU
3:Busybox zip BB
all the above zips converted into ota survival automation
Set permission of OTA Script like this

CM13 over OO3.02
I am big fan of CM ROM, used it for long time on OPT and also want to flash my OPO.
I am already running latest Oxygen OS 3.0.2 but want to move on CM13, so is there a way to move on CM13 without losing data or any backup and restore procedure from OO to CM ( or i have to do it all manually).
Anyone can help me flashing CM13 over OO3.0.2.
V4a working in soundcloud? Cant get it to work there in any rom (it doesnt work for me with your zip or othrt zips)

Here's the stock rooted XNPH44S ROM. Includes root(enable in Developer options) and the rest is untouched, so it's OTA safe
Custom kernel users may need to make a change to the build.prop to get root working if the default.prop in the kernel ramdisk if not set like I have it(may affect future OTAs)
Change

Is this ok to dirty flash over 38r? Then I guess flash radio file afterwards?? Does supersu need to be unistalled first?
Is this F2FS compatible? Also can i restore the 'data' from my nandroid backup if i flash this?
Basically is it flashable over 38R or requires to be a clean install?
@Calkulin any chance of making it comoatible f2fs?

It can be flashed over 38R without wiping and just flash the radio files after flashing the ROM. As for SuperSU, if it's still there after flashing(because it was updated through the play store), then just uninstall it as it won't work due to the su binary being the CM version

I don't think the stock kernel is F2FS compatible but if you change the kernel and format the partitions accordingly, it should work just fine

All you need to do is change the updater script to format the system partition to F2FS while flashing the ROM and flash a kernel that supports F2FS & mounts the partitions as F2FS

Just did a factory reset and installed the ROM and radio. Upon boot up, I have no superuser at all.
Currently I'm reflashing the ROM after doing an advanced wipe with system, data, dalvik and cache to see if it fixes it.
Is this the right way to do it?

WHO
Originally developed by @Cpasjuste in original thread HERE
@[NUT]'s latest package can be found HERE
@zxz0O0's SELinux hack HERE
WHY
Main reason is because OTA package wont be verified if custom recovery is installed. With this app, we can easily uninstall custom recovery then reinstall them after applying OTA updates without need to connect to PC.
It can be used as normal installer not related to OTA anyway.
HOW
1- Rooted.
2- SuperSU PRO for OTA root survival.
3- This app.

new update available.
Dear All,
WARNING: I'm no developer, just a regular user. SO PLEASE ONLY TRY THE BELOW PROCEDURE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I'm not responsible if you end up with a device that doesn't work the way it is originally meant to.
Recently I decided to root my Mi 5 running Global Dev ROM (Version: 6.5.30 (MIUI7)).
Read a few threads.
Mainly (link A): http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=260976
Then I posted a Q&A thread: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod ... 0&page=1#pid5799160
I noticed that according to link A, we needed to wipe data to root successfully.
Here's what I did:
1. Unlock BootLoader via Xiaomi Official Method. - Important Step
2. Temporarily flash TWRP (link mentioned in link A) [fastboot boot *recoveryname*.img].
3. Selecetd English as the language.
4. Left the System partition unmodified when promted (Keep Read Only).
5. Mounted System + Cache.
6. Enabled ADB sideload.
7. SIdeloaded the superSU file (link mentioned in link A).
8. Rebooted device.
9. SuperSU was installed.
10. To check this I tried out SElinuxmodechanger + V4A (use apps with Root access at your own risk and evaluation of safe / unsafe nature of the app/apps).

Conclusion: I was able to root my Mi 5 (Global Dev Rom) without permanent flashing of TWRP + without modification to system partition (Keep Read Only)) + without wiping data in TWRP before installing SuperSU.
Hey, great tutorial, but after, the OTA update will work and / or remove root ?
Is the sideload necessary ? Can't the SuperSU file be stored in an internal folder beforehand ?
@hmnk: can you please post links for SElinuxmodechanger and V4A? Thanks.

Sideload was necessary at the time of the tutorial being posted as the MIUI version / TWRP didn't allow data partition to be mounted without formatting it. Hence, the flashable zips had to be sideloaded.
However, currently, I'm on MIUI Version: V8.0.2.0.MAAMIDG (MIUI8) and twrp-3.0.2-0-gemini, this combination allows data partition to be mounted without formatting it.

Setup a full backup before tryin' to install this.
I wiped everything else than storage, then i installed your ZIP trough recovery. I did not flash SuperSU or Magisk after flashing the ZIP, i am using twrp3.1.1-0 and i had the Pexorom installed before.
Did i bootloop my phone because i didn't install a proper SU (don't think so, but i am unsure)? Tried your 10.14/.15/.18 build on my F5121. Even tried a few F5122 builds, but the bootloop isn't evadeable.
