OnePlus X stuck??? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I recently got a Oneplus X from my relative. Today, I got a 17mb OTA update after downloading the update I started installing the update even though it said phone is rooted and update might not install. I still tried installing it and the update failed.
Now I am stuck on the screen with these options -
internal storage,
install from adb,
wipe data and cache,
advanced,
exit
How do I start my phone. Sorry I am completely new to android so I don't know what to do so please help me.

Do exit.

[Q] TCL S960/ALCATEL 6043D update 01010 not installing

Hi,
I am first time onto this forum. So, sorry if I have not posted it onto the right thread.
I have a Alcatel onetouch Idol X+ (6043D). Recently it released some stability update 01010 of size 194Mb. The download went successful, but while installing it says 'SD card not found' and gives in a menu to boot the phone. I am not sure what is going wrong here.
I am using stock ROM, is not rooted and the phone is completely encrypted. I am not sure, if encryption is causing some issue in installation.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
decrypt your phone. Can u plz provide stock recovery so that i can update mine too

Htc m7 INTERNETIONAL

Hello, I have a problem with HTC One M7. (Bootloader unlocked, Twrp installed)
After an error in an attempt to install a ROM (error 7) it went brick. I followed a guide on how to reinstall the original ROM and partially worked, partly because the phone starts up, but there are problems ... For example, if I try to download something or take a picture tells me "can not save the file on the sd card because you do not have enough privileges "... The htc m7 does not have the slot for sd ... How can i bring it to when i bought it with everything working perfectly? THANK YOU TO*

EDIT: Just noticed, this is the wrong forum, I have a whyred phone. XDA redirected me here when I clicked on "My device"

Bricked 7T Pro Newb Help

Hey, I hope I posted this in the right section or that someone could help me. I am new to rooting and destroyed my brand new phone within a few hours.
So backstory I got a new 7t pro and immediately rooted it with no issue. So i installed some apps like greenify that require xposed module. I followed the guide on http://edxp.meowcat.org/ and had no problems until I installed the "riru - edxposed (sandhook) in magisk. After that i was in a bootloop but I managed to get into TWRP. So from there I (made it worse) attempted to delete the module but I couldn't find it in the file manager (the root directory had the data folder but not the corresponding /adb/modules in it). From there I accepted the fate of deleting everything and starting over so I pressed wipe data. Which didn't make any difference after reboot. So I pressed wipe system so now I can't boot into recovery or the bootloader. I am able to get into EDL mode but I still cant recover with MSM download tool.
Using the MSM downloader tool found here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/op7tpro-unbrick-tool-to-restore-device-t4002909); I am able to communicate with my device however it always fails at around 265 seconds with the same error under Status of Communication column it says (in red) "FirehoseCheckRSP Failed, Errno: 258" and under the Status of Last Communication column it says (also in red) "Downloading super .img Failed"
If anyone needs more info please ask and any help would be greatly appreciated.
OK guess you can still get into bootloader download stock firmware from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/how-to/discussion-feedback-oxygenos-10-0-4-t4005323 then use fastboot to install
Should be good to go

How did you get Twrp, I thought there wasn't a compatible version for OnePlus 7T Pro yet?

It isn't, but I guess this happens when you don't read before doing anything to your phone.

Did you manage to solve your problem, or do you need further assistance ?

except for the fact that there is a compatible (unofficial) version and it was posted here weeks ago (https://forum.xda-developers.com/7t-pro/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-recovery-t3989333). while it's not a completed it is compatible and will boot but the lack of decryption support is why i was unable to access the magisk module to delete it. however it will mount system which is what it deleted during the wipe. so maybe you should read before you say their isn't one.
I did however figure out it was a driver issue even though device manager correctly read the ql_bulk_dump. using a virtual machine (or a different machine) with fresh drivers worked with no problem and since there were no suggested fixes or any description of this error anywhere "FirehoseCheckRSP Failed, Errno: 258". i hope this solution can help someone else who may experience this issue.

Only because it boots doesn't mean it's functional and compatible. You shouldn't really be using TWRP at all. The lack of decryption support is just one of many things not working. It's needs major rework in order to work with the new partitioning system etc.
You said you wiped the data and system, which I assume you did from TWRP, which I suspect messed up the partitions and made you unable to boot into fastboot.
Glad you worked it out though, and I apologize if I sounded rude in my comment.

Question Pixel 6 Bootloop

Hey, I'm running January build on my Pixel 6 and I was thinking it was running slow so I rebooted the phone and now it stuck on bootloop no matter what.
I tried also flashing to february build via Android Online Flash Tool (without wipe) and it still stuck on bootloop after the update.
What can I do without losing all my data ??
There are quite a few threads about this here in the Pixel 6 section.
I suggest that you try reading one of the other threads to learn what you are doing wrong. And ask for help there if you still are lost.

You can try sideloading the OTA. That won't delete your data. You can also try flashing the factory image with the -w removed in the flash-all.bat script. That also won't delete your data.
If neither works you just may have to wipe.

This applies to every single user on this forum. If this rule was adhered to or for that matter Rule 2 was adhered to, I would not have had to delete 20 posts. These kinds of posts are one reason why people fight shy of using Search. They clutter up the thread and forum.
Please be civil to each other and please do not provoke others. Hope all of you understand and will cooperate.
Thank you.

Not sure if you solved this yet or not, but I had the same issue last year and it wasn't actually an issue with the update as such. It was an issue with my user profile on it. The only way I could get it out of the boot loop was to skip restoring my user settings etc. Perhaps try that?
