Hi,
well, I'm totally lost now, cause I've rooted my m4a, but I have no idea how to install xposed. To be more accurate I don't know how to put my phone into recovery mode, and flash the xposed framework zip file. I would appreciate if someone would give me step by step tutorial..

Hi
I was going to install a new rom, but is shows me a #7 error. I google it and I found that I must update CWM to install the new rom, so I update it by using Rom Manager to CWM v5.8.4.8. And now I can't see my sd card files.
My phone doesn't have any system/rom right now, I make these steps and then I got the problem
1. Factory Data reset
2. Wipe Dalvik
3. Format System
4. Install Zip from Sdcard (when I did this step I get the problem)
What should I do now?
The only thing that I can do with my phone is to enter to CWM
Please help me step by step of what should I do.
I still beginner in these installation things, so please be patience with me
This is the Rom that I want to install http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914230&page=64
it may help you guys to help me!

I had this same issue before, I had to go back to an older CWM version. I read somewhere that 5.8.4.8 doesn't support installing a zip from sd card.I will look to see what version is the latest that does support this, and if possible upload it for you!!
Agreed...
revert to older CWM versions, or use TWRP......g
Yeah. I have 5.0.2.7 I believe. Works great. P.s. great choice of ROMs!! Also check out the jelly beer or eclipse ROM!

I have a kindle 7 2014 rooted with lollipop. I had some soft bricks like installing something and the ui crashing lol. But after a factory reset its all fine. I installed some system apps like file explorer, on exposed lock screen disable, and lollipop lock screen, I need help, I want twrp but somewhere I read that it's gonna brick it? Pls devs answer tell what's gonna happen if we use twrp installer and install twrp on the 5u2. Thanks
You can't replace stock recovery with TWRP--it won't boot--but you can install it temporarily to flash zips, etc: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62011272&postcount=2
Ok thanks @DoLooper that's what I was wondering
Hi everyone, i have rooted my s6edge SM-G925F 5.1.1 by flashing a kernel through Odin, i installed TWRP, flashed Xtrestolite Rom SM-G925K and Aroma, all in order to get Xposed Framework so i could cloak it and finally use my banking apps again. I have installed 'almost' every Xposed version i could, and my phone gets stuck in a bootloop every single time!
In between all the mess you read above, i had to flash my phone twice with a stock rom because it got softbricked by messing with Xposed.
Now i have finally learned to make a backup in TWRP..
Does anyone have an answer for this or a possible solution?

RESOLVED! Thanks to WANAM's clear advice and files
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
I have successfully installed Xposed, no errors or issues for some reason it only worked after i have deleted the xposed apk from my device first, and then installed the file in this link;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3580700&d=1450427455
through TWRP recovery and voila!
Thanks to Wanam, everyone else and ESPECIALLY ME!
My best!
Hello bro this is shaarawr
Hi, just follow the information above and be sure to delete xposed if it's installed and delete the apk file also from your device, then download the installer.zip and uninstaller.zip from the link above. Delete any previous "xposed-Arm.zip" file that you have installed previously.
Go into recovery and install the "uninstaller.zip" first.
System reboot the device.
Go into recovery again and install the "installer.zip" you've downloaded from the link above. (DO NOT DELETE DATA/DALVIC AFTER FLASHING/INSTALLING THE .ZIP FILE)
just TAP REBOOT.
Just wait, it could take a second. If you end up in a bootloop just go back into recovery and install the "uninstaller.zip" and reboot.
MAKE A SYSTEM BACKUP THROUGH RECOVERY FIRST, in case you end up in a hard bootloop.
Let me know if it works or not.
Hello Guys
I have Xperia Z2 and I am on rooted .291 with LB. I cannot get into recovery. I tried almost everything to install. Basically I want to use xposed. And wanted to make Nandroid backup before flashing xposed. Can anyone please help me to install the recovery.
Some of my tries went into bootloop. Please also tell me that is it safe to install twrp image from twrp manager as it warns before installing that the bootloader should be unlocked.
Downgrade, install recovery and then flash prerooted rom with pre-installed twrp. It's time consuming, but it's the easiest way.
Got the solution of the problem from this thread and it really worked. http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/general/mm-6-0-1-twrp-recovery-t3364871

EDIT: here is a link to fix recovery.zip https://mega.nz/#!NoVSlK5T!CPJDueW8nXiHEv-jjqo7U-CrrEa1nE2JTE8mWjn3NEs
How were you able to download "recovery fix.zip" from mega.nz ? The thread itself has been closed due to the download link not being available
I'm having same problem so could you please share recovery fix .zip ?
I searched the same file on Google. Tell me if you cannot find.
Download flashfire app from google play and flash xposed from there, in my case i tried about 5 times to get it flashed.
The Ultimate Guide to Modding Your LG Optimus L7 II P710 or P713 | Root, Recovery, Kernel, Custom ROM and Unbricking
Before I start, let me tell you some things about this guide:
It is based SOLELY on my personal experience and has only been tested on my LG P713.
I am not responsible AT ALL if your device gets bricked, doesn't boot, catches fire, or runs away from you.
Please use this guide at your own risk, and take extreme caution if using a different phone than the one I used.
The only things this guide will show you are to 1. root your phone, 2. install CWM and then TWRP, 3. install a custom ROM and kernel, and 4. unbrick your device in an emergency.
There are probably better/easier ways of doing the things shown in this guide, but these are the methods I found easiest for a newbie like me.
Credits:
The developers of Root Genius
Chainfire, for SuperSU
weritos, for their excellent PAC-MAN custom ROM
riskey95, for their also excellent guide to installing CWM
neutrondev, for their fantastic build of TWRP and his guide to installing it
su_haris, for their great SKernel build
maxx_hr, for their guide to installing a KDZ ROM
androidego, for his guide to installing CWM
AntaresOneStudio, for their Quick Reboot App
With that out of the way, let's get started!
1. Rooting your phone
Download Root Genius from here: http://rootgenius.com/download/
When downloaded, make sure your Antivirus is OFF. This is because a root program can be used for wrongdoing, and as such, an AV will usually block it.
Enable USB debugging on your LG, and plug it in. When asked, make sure that you've enabled the RSA popup that might come up.
Root Genius will detect your phone, and ask you if you want to root it. Allow it to do this.
When it is done, unplug your phone and reboot it. Congratulations, you should now have root access!! If this is all you wanted from this guide, you can stop reading now.
2. Installing the CWM recovery
Download the recovery package from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2700579
Unzip everything to a folder on your PC.
Copy the GScript APK to your phone and install it.
Make a folder called gscript on your internal storage and move the boothack-cwm.sh file into it.
Copy everything else onto the root directory of your SD Card.
Run GScript and press the menu button on your phone. Add a new script and click on boothack-cwm.
Click on the script and your phone will now install CWM. Reboot your phone and follow the instructions
Now whenever you need to go into recovery, you can do it by going into GScript and running that file.
Congrats, now you have CWM installed! If that was all you wanted to do, you can leave now, but I highly recommend you follow at least the next part and install TWRP.
3. Installing the TWRP recovery
Go to this page (https://forum.xda-developers.com/op...ent/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-vee7-l7-ii-t3313792) and click on the 'old' button and download the file named TWRP_3.0.0.0_vee7_sdcard.zip.
Copy that file to the root directory of your SD card.
Download Quick Reboot from here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/antar...quick-reboot-root-1-3-2-android-apk-download/
Copy that file to wherever on your phone and install it.
Boot into CWM and install the TWRP file. Reboot.
Uninstall GScript. We will now use Quick Reboot in place of this.
If you want to check your recovery, or want to install a custom ROM, simply fire up Quick Reboot and boot into recovery.
Congratulations, you now have the TWRP recovery installed! If you want to install a custom ROM or kernel, go onto the next step, but if you don't, you can stop reading now.
4. Installing a custom ROM and/or kernel
Out of all the ROMs I have tried for this device, I have found that weritos' PAC-MAN ROM works the best, especially when coupled with the SKernel. You can use any ROM/Kernel with these steps, but those to are the ones I recommend. Your device might become bricked because of installing a different ROM or kernel. If so, see part 5.
Download the PAC-MAN ROM from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/op...-pac-rom-lg-p715-dual-sim-lg-p713-lg-t2997798 I prefer the non-LED version, but you can download the other version if you wish.
Download the SKernel from this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60466694&postcount=339 The P710 version will still work on the P713.
Download the KitKat GApps from here: http://opengapps.org/ I recommend Pico.
IMPORTANT: Do a factory reset within TWRP prior to installing anything.
Install the ROM file first in TWRP, then the Kernel, then GApps.
Once that is all done, you can reboot your system. Since it is the first boot, it may take a bit longer than usual. This is normal, don't worry.
Depending on your personal tastes, feel free to replace/delete applications on your new ROM as you wish. The only tweaks I strongly recommend is replacing the default Open Camera with something else, as it is not in English, and installing SuperSU, as there is a bug in the default root management program. You can flash SuperSU through recovery using the file from here: https://download.chainfire.eu/696/supersu/
If everything has gone well, you have successfully installed everything you need to on your phone!! Congratulations!!!! You can stop reading now. If something has gone wrong, go onto the next part.
5. Unbricking your phone
Oh noes! Your phone doesn't boot! What to do?? Don't worry, it's fairly easy to get your phone back to a working state.
Find a stock ROM KDZ file for your exact phone/carrier combination. Even if your phone has been unlocked, you will need the file for your original carrier, in my case, Optus. Since there are so many variations of this phone and carrier, I can't link them all. Searching for 'LG [MODEL No.] [CARRIER] KDZ' will usually give you what you need. An example of this is 'LG P713 Optus KDZ'.
Download your stock ROM.
Download the LG Flash Tool 2014 from this link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/fwrcd3pdj0svjtb/LG+Flash+Tool+2014.zip
Put your phone in emergency mode by holding down the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time, while simultaneously plugging in a USB cable. If you do this right, you will get a yellow screen with the words 'emergency mode !!'
Open up the LG Flash Tool. Set your phone type to '3GQCT' and mode to 'EMERGENCY'.
Press Normal Flash, then Start.
Press OK.
Wait a few minutes while it does its thing. When done, your phone will automatically reboot.
Depending on your phone and ROM, you might be stuck in a bootloop. To fix this, take out your battery to turn off your phone and put it back in. Press your Volume Down key, Home key and Power key until the LG logo comes. When the logo appears, let go of the power button but not the others. Depending on your new ROM, there might be an Android picture. You can let go of the buttons when this happens.
If you've followed everything exactly, your phone should now be unbricked!! It will be the same as a brand new P71x, so there will be no root or other such things. If you are feeling brave, you can repeat all the steps EXACTLY to reapply the mods.
Thank you for reading my guide! I hope it has been useful for you. Once again, thank you to the people that did all the hard work to make this tutorial possible.
If you have any questions or feedback, leave them in this thread, and I will do my best to help.
I don't own an Optimus myself (I use an LG K10 lol), but still I can vouch for this guide.
