There is nothing impressive here ... If you look closely at the mAh used it's about 900.
He has just been using his phone with VERY (I would say about 1/3 or 1/4) LOW brightness.
How can I say that ? Because I end up with 4 Hours screen on time and the same amount of power used when using my OP2 for a long time outdoor (auto brightness) so with brightness up to the max.
It would be cool if OP could optimise a little more OOS3 so we can used about 1500 mAh from the screen ...

Let the phone with screen on, min brightness and you can reach easily 8 hours

1) Skype, twitter, facebook apps are all battery eaters, so would advice u to restrict there internet access with their respective settings.
2) install a good battery monitor app from stores like Better Battery Stats and see what wakelocks r causing the battery to drain so quickly
The fuel gauge gets confused or whatever you call it often when rebooting or flashing stuff. Wait for a few minutes, don't use the phone, let the battery recalibrate, and you'll see that the battery level will rise again, though slowly.

I am currently running Real ICS r5.1 on my SK17i using Stock Kernel as I cannot unlock my bootloader and this is my battery life which is rubbish. My screen brightness is usually at 0% and never higher than 25% for more than a minute so i a) don't understand why my screen takes up so much battery (timeout is on 30 secs) and secondly why the media server takes up so much battery
I want an ICS ROM so if anyone has either something to do to save my battery (e.g. disabling media server permanently till I need it) or making my screen take less battery or if they can tell me a ICS ROM which is good on battery life as in at least 15-20hrs (I have seen people get 2 days?)
Thanks a lot
P.S. My 3G and WiFi are never on at the same time, Bluetooth, GPS not used for more than a minute
You can try NeroICS it has a good batery life or Smultronic(Don't sure if need Unlocked Bootloader or no) or even the stock rom with some tweaks it should be help.
real ics and real ics lite for me are awful with the battery dried like 20% with no use and thats not funny :/ I'm on Smultronic with Mesa kernel 1.8 and it's perfect
PD: You can unlock bootloader if you want the best perfomance on your device

Will have a look at that Smultronic as i have seen it mentioned in other thread thanks a lot
And I would defo unlock the bootloader but I cannot, when I check the option for it in the Service Menu it says no so S1 Tool doesn't unlock it
Thanks a lot for the suggestions thought mate
EDIT: Both of the ROMS you mentioned require unlocked BL, anyone know of a good ICS ROM that can be used with locked BL with good battery?
realICSlite_r4 last long on mine, with stock rom and using walkman app all day at work (probably about 5 hours use) i have 20% by the end of the day, with real ics i have 35%

Well let's see
1) the op gave you a mathematical equation. You can just substitute your starting percentage instead of 100 and use it
2)Trying to gauge stamina means you are in a situation where you cannot charge back and you're trying to make whatever you have last as much as possible
And if you still wanna argue, let's say one should start at 100% battery.
1) "Start" is ths keyword here.
2)Let's assume you wanna charge in between. Your graph is what? 3 days long on the x axis? If I sit down and count the amount of time you were in charging, let alone how much you charged, I'll find that the phone was being charged for 4-5 hours atleast.
So, no victory for you mate. Sorry

Sprint send me the automatic email saying that they were selling the phone on Friday, I made an appointment for Saturday, and picked it up without any problems. No pre-order or waiting lists. There are too many other phones out right now for shortages of this one IMO.

Battery life looks pretty good but
Man... Is everyone waiting for them to be available or is it going to be a super low volume phone

I had been waiting anxiously for this phone, but it seems like not all that many others were as evidenced by the number of threads/conversations in this forum. I remember with the EVO LTE, that it was crazy in that forum before the device landed (and then got stuck in customs)
For those who say 'it's way too big'. I remember the same thing said about the original EVO. After playing with this one for a few hours, it seems normal.
OP can you run some movies/videos and post battery life? I watch alot of youtube and other *cough* stuff on my phone and need to know how the battery handles after a few hours
Can you guys please keep on the topic and JUST post Battery Stats of the Max and dont discuss any other things about an Evo?

The battery is awesome and more than sufficient. i think One MAX users are just not worried about the battery.
Are you looking for some particular type of usage?

That's with heavy use music web downloading ect. Screen time as of now I would say 4hrs easy but time out is on 1min. I'm 10 hrs in and still have 30%

Screen on time is actually going to be outstanding. One of the big reasons I prefer a LCD vs amoled with a screen this hugemongous.

This is not meant to disrespect any developer or to degrade any rom... It is just a simple question because i have a limited data plan and i can't download and try every rom...
The question is as the title suggests, which is the best rom for customization... I have tried RR, AICP, and lineage uptil now.... Any rom having more customization than RR or aicp??

RR is the best
and aicp too
RR has the most customization features but crDroid is just a bit behind.
For me at the moment, crDroid is best cause of substratum (compared to RR).

I frozed some process as in MM (inputdevices, keychain, devtools, timeservice),removed almost all keep awake under privacy guard and use greenify in addon.
Idle is quite good and if no game, SOT is also good.
