mt6572 does not recognize the USB driver preloader vcom
Hi guys, are days I search for on the internet but can not find anything that I try but nothing and here I am asking those who know much, much more than me hoping for an answer ...
I have a samsung clone mt6572 g900f terminal that would not light up, the computer management sees me as "Mediatek usb port" but you should see me, as I read on the internet, "preloader usb vcom" so I'm going to download the file to add the drivers manually but I always leaves the question mark and then the "mediatek port usb driver" always disconnects and when I go to download a rOM (which I still have not figured out what to download) to flash it with "SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1316.0.150 "I have an error 10
Please, if you tell me what to do and what to download to be sure I follow you step by step thanks a lot
I know a tool ....try to Google search about '15 second installer'. That should work.

Try 'pda net'. Do you want you use adb and fastboot then you will need driver for adb. Download 15 second installer, you can see procedure on xda forum.

I've searched but am unable to locate the answer to my issue.
I recently upgraded to a new computer. The old one was a 2GHz dual-core running Win 7 Home 64-bit. The new one is a 3GHz, i5 running Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit. For the life of me, I cannot get the USB driver to start.
On the SAMSUNG Mobile USB Composite Device properties I get "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
I have downloaded, installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Samsung drivers from multiple sources, including the drivers from Samsung's site.
I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Kies multiple times.
I've moved the cable to different ports on the PC.
I've clicked debugging on/off
I've selected MTP instead of Mass Storage.
I've rebooted the PC and phone multiple times after these installations.
Nothing seems to help. I continually get the same error.
Anyone have a suggestion before I take this phone and throw it against the wall?
When I run into that issue, it usually turns out to be a busted USB cable.
Either switch the cable or inspect the port on your phone to see If all the pins are aligned

Try uninstalling KIES and install KIES Mini to try and get the proper drivers installed.
If that doesn't work it may be an issue with the custom ROM and/or Kernel. I'd suggest flashing over to something else to see if that fixes the issue.
SOLVED!

Well done BROKKANIC! It must have been the AOKP ROM I was using. I updated to the latest update and now the composite device is working. With my Captivate, Artix and SGSII, I've flashed ROMs hundreds of times and this is the first time I've ever run in to this problem.
Thanks for the suggestion!

1. Did you have ADB and fastboot drivers installed?
2. Did you enable USB Debugging?
3. Use USB cable that came with your phone.

Search for your LG's drivers at their website or around the net and install.

Flash stock ROM here: http://www.mylgphones.com/sprint-lg-optimus-g-ls970-software-update-ls970zvc.html
Or I'm wrong?
I don't know why my device won't be recognized I heard it might be a kernal from another thread with a similar situation.

Man you really don't have a clue do you!!
Why in hell would you need OTG to flash a rom? Do you even know what OTG is?
Stop ignoring people that give you the solution too. It's really bad manners.
So download the stock rom and flash it.
You should spend a day reading up first before you damage the phone permanently.
Sorry if not being clear I have been listening my phone has a hardware issue and I'm not to much of a noob have tried each comment. I'm not to nooby but I have downloaded the drivers my device is not being recognized correctly I have a hazardous icon in device manager on my android phone lg ls970. My phone does not support otg I'm trying to install .zips through a flash drive and otg cable. I'm sorry if waisting peoples time with my apparently nooby question. Please c correct me if I'm wrong thanks for the support.
Let me be clearer I'm sorry for not spelling it out well enough. I have installed drivers many times I have installed the driver however my phone is not being recognized correctly I have uninstalled and tried again. Otg which I looked it up pretty handy in these situations, doesn't work for this phone (due to outputting)I had a cm10.2 kernal which may have had something do do with this. I have come to believe that its a hardware problem with the female port I will try again on another computer tomorrow and see.
What I want to know is why it still recognizes something and if its fixable?
Thx
I have fixed thanks luqman98 it was a problem with windows not allowing me to install drivers due to 8.1 update

Hi guys, I believe I have hard bricked my phone.
I was trying to solve the IMEI lost by installing these bins files (www movilesdualsim dot com/threads/ayuda-con-i9500-s4-with-mtk6589-quad-core-5-0-screen-1920-1080.47124/) using SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1304.0.119, so I was doing so and when SPFlash has finished the phone doesn't boot up anymore. I have tried to flash recovery.img with SP Flash but it doesn't even detect the phone anymore.
When I connect the phone to the PC by USB cable I can heard the connected device sound going on and off and looking the windows device manager I can see a "Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface" device connected but like I said it goes on and off every 5 seconds or so. If I put the battery on the phone it doesn't make any different.
I would appreciate so much if anyone could help me out. I don't usually bother people asking for help but I can't really find how to fix this issue and I don't know if it is even possible to fix it.
Thank in advance

Hello guys I'm happy to be in this site, well there I go with my headtache.
I have a lenovo s898t+ golden warrior with a bad hardbrick when I plug it in the PC to install the ROM in SP flash tool (newest one) show me error 4032, I allready did all possible solution for that particulary error and nothing. by the way, the phone connect and disconnet several times and recognize as "usb serie device" and blinking, Im using win10 x64 and allready install win7 preloader and vcom driver x64 ... dont know is the are some incompatibility
I saw some tutorials in youtube about hardbrick on mtk phones opening to get in motherboard, I did that but I dont know where is the KCol0 or LCol0 pin, I have to use a iron wire to make a jumper between ground and that pin. I do not have much clear about it. When i make the jumper, Do I have to connect the phone into PC?
Hope you guys help me, dont know what else to do.
And sorry for my bad english guys.
Thanks in advance. :good:
Hi all, I need help trying to get the USB VCOM DRIVER to work, specifically the PRELOADER. Everything works well, except for the preloader. It gets recognised as a Mtk Usb device, the. Reconnects as a professional device, but it never gets past the Download DA Red bar. Can someone provide me with a working Preloader driver? Running Windows 10 Creator Update
