Hi guys, I've flashed the phone over KDZ Updater after a softbrick which took place after playing with the recovery and flashing everything that I've been able to find on the internet. This happened about 2 years ago, now I have a L9, but I want to see this little rock working again, hehe.
I went into fastboot, then udc_start(). Ok, I flashed everything but gave an error. Unpluged the battery, and then... it's dead ^_^.
Can't I shortcut the motherboard in some place or am I missing some alternative unbricking method?

Nope I didnt repaired but my friend told me that it can be solved by LG CARE on 205 Rupees. But I GIVE GUARANTEE THAT IT MUST BE REPAIRED WITHOUT CHANGING MOTHER BOARD.
(Or second is by octopus box .but my friend doesn't has that coasts about 100$ for license.)

I think that it can also be done through a Medusa Box, anyways, it's much more cheaper but much more hard-to-connect.

Unluckily, I don't have one.
Was it repaired?
What I have done so far:
1. Backup was some how corrupted. Had to use it anyway.
2. Pushing system from PC was bad.
3. Repeated the backup
4. Re-flashed the ROM which gave me a working system
5. Re-rooted, re-installed SuperSU
6. Got link2sd to relink anything that might have been awry, SuperSU had to be set to grant since dialogs did not come up.
7. Updated everything.
8 Phone seems to be working
9 Did new backup
So far, despite obbfix, "no service." Maybe it is not me?

Ignore this if you are highly skilled and are working on the bootloader but then again with that skill level you would not be asking .

No. That problem will not be fixed by flashing a bootloader. I wouldn't do that if I were you. You run the risk of bricking your phone.
You only flash a bootloader if your phone won't boot at all with a particular rom, or if you need the old bootloader in order to reset your flash counter in download mode with a USB jig.
ok thank you for your advice

im so sry about your phone, but the imei is fake, the only way to save you phone is to follow this guide, and if that didn't work, it's pretty much a bricked phone
EDIT: not a bricked phone i meant a touch screen MP4 player
Because you don't ask people to post their IMEI's.
What if he didn't have the generic one & he posted his real IMEI ? Someone casually reading the forum goes 'Thanks. I reckon I can sell that IMEI so someone with less than honest intentions can use it on a stolen/barred phone'.
Capice ?
Edit to add - A better thing to ask would have been 'Is your IMEI 004999010640000 (or whatever the generic IMEI is) ?'. That way you only need a yes/no answer, nobody's IMEI gets posted. If it's no, then it isn't an IMEI/EFS problem, If yes, then it probably is.

You never learn do you? -.-
OK. Now that we've dealt with that little...interruption...time to help you properly. It seems you have the generic IMEI & your real one has somehow been wiped/gone fubar.
The easiest way to fix it obviously is if you have your EFS backed up. If you don't there are tools on Google Play which claim to help you recover your IMEI, but reports I've seen about these recently say they only have a chance of working if you have some/all of your "nv_" files in your EFS folder.
I guess what it all boils down to is are you able to make calls, use data; I.E can you use your phone normally. If you can, it may not be a massive problem having a generic IMEI. Yes, some telcos around the world ban phones they detect with a non-unique IMEI, but I've also seen plenty of instances of people on here who have used their phone just fine with the generic one.
If you don't have a backup & really really need to get your IMEI back because your phone doesn't work, you need to contact Odia on here. He can apparently recover your IMEI (most of the time) in situations where it might otherwise be really hard to do (for a small 'donation').
So first up, answer the questions about EFS backup/whether you have one & also if you're able to use the phone normally & we can go from there.

Hello, so I ran out of battery on my way home, when I got home I plugged the phone and went to sleep. Today when I woke up, I turned on the device, but it got stuck @ galaxy s3 boot animation, the animation you get before your ROM's boot animation kicks in, so I went to recovery and tried to recover one of my recoveries. it didn't help. I did a factory reset, it still was the same, stuck on galaxys3 boot animation. So I decided to flash stock samsung rom using ODIN. But now I'm stuck at the samsungs stock ROM boot animation, I tried factory reset couple of times but it didn't help.
Any idea what might be the issue, I have flashed this rom
Edit: Also the line "E: failed to mount /efs" is something to worry about when you boot into recovery?
So flashing via Odin works w/o errors?

Yeah, when i flashed using odin, I didn't encounter any error, more one thing to mention, when I boot to recover I get
E: failed to mount /efs
Is that something to have concern about?
oh yes. do you have an efs backup? that's the first thing you should do before flashing anything. if yes, restore it. if not, send it to service

you are correct, in the EU you still can get lucky due to some regulations and you have to show that the root did not cause the problem, outside the EU I am not sure. The restriction of the internals of every device is not for nothing in place don't you think so? Otherwise manufacturers would get hundreds of complains because someone messed up something...

If you do not have an EFS backup I guess it will be difficult to restore. Only solution then will be to send it in for service if I am not wrong.

Yes sir,
Here's what I did:
I flashed my phone with CWM, then rooted my phone using the methods described in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391801
Then I went into CWM using vol up+vol down+power and instead of erasing /cache I erased /sys_boot or something and then my phone doesn't even start into DroidBoot or CWM. Even if you tell me that the phone can be repaired by service centre I would be happy. Ask me if you want any more information!

Erasing the bootloader is like breaking your device permanently unless you reflash the bootloader/ whole rom which comes with the bootloader or else it's gone.

got echoe rom working without having to flash to tmobile firmware like one poster did. yes on the sprint s7 variant. started on universal firmware, rooted. then i flashed stang5litre rom. couldnt get data to work on it. so i then flashed echoe and it worked!! yes i did a full data wipe each time... had to edit build prop (310120), then add apn2 in apn settings. everything works... not sure if it has to do with stang5litre, or i could have just flashed over universal firmware.
Dam i would b down to flash the universal rom then echoe but i dont wana go do both if it doesnt work lol.
What are the apn settings I would need to change? Thanks a ton. I flashed over the u firmware before and data, etc wasn't working. Didn't know what to do for apn settings

Compilation: RNE-L22C636B132
Already UNLOCKED the phone.
Installed the TWRD but I think I did it wrong. Only can acces to it pressing volume up + volume down + power.
If I preess volume up + power it goes to Huawei eRecovery.
If I press volume down +power I go to fastboot.
So now each time I try to boot my phone it is so slow. Like I have to wait 5 minutes to boot up.
Already did a factory wipe from the phone and still lags, when someone calls me on whatsapp my phone freezes....
Yes, I enabled developer mode, enable usb debugging, did unlock bootlader and my windows 10 doesn't have issues with detecting the driver of the phone (no yellow sing on devices).
Any help?
Guys, stop unlocking and rooting this phone,no benefits at all for doing this, only u will get inconvenience issue and problems.keep it official
My suggestion for u to unroot and block the bootloader again

Wait, you're saying your phone freeze when it's in a brand new state ? If so try flashing a different update with HWOTA8.
If it keeps doing that you might have a faulty phone. I yet to have a single freeze on mine.

I'm on XDA daily and I haven't rooted or unlocked a boot loader in many, many years!
There are many good reasons to be here... primarily because more knowledgeable people are here to help with issues other than rooting and ROM's.

Gotta explain me how you were helping here, the OP was asking for help to root the phone and you go like : "Don't root it s*cks, slows the phone down, etc..." while everything you said is utter bullsh*t.
I've rooted/flashed cROMs on basically every phone I've owned and never had a single drawback except for Samsung Pay which is an invalid argument for the M10.

in my opinion another thing u can do is to restore complete firmware which is already backup by other people and also me. i hope u have a twrp so restore complete firmware (twrp backup) according to your version.
