Please help!!! Lg G3 stuck in system recovery screen - Verizon LG G3

I used BoardDiag after being stuck in a loop where my lg g3 VS985 had the led flashing with the screen black every time i restarted and my device came up as Qualcomm. I feel like I got closer to fixing it after using BoardDiag. Now the lg logo pops up for a few seconds, it shuts off, comes back on and enters system recovery. It keeps doing this. It pops up as LG in my device manager only for the few seconds the logo appears. If I try to hold the volume up button it puts me back into Qualcomm. I know the next step after Boarddiag is lg flash tool but I get the model information check fail when using the stock dll and tot. There was another dll file that worked for people but for me it gives an error. In the system recovery I have already tried doing a factory reset to no avail. It gives me the option to update through external sd card , cache, and adb. I have adb all installed but I'm too new at this to know how I can just restore it to stock. Please help!! Thank you!

Can you get the phone into download mode and do a standard KDZ flash?

If I try to put it in download mode I get a black screen and my pc recognizes it as qualcomm. If I boot normally it will see it as lg only for the few seconds it shows the logo. Also while stuck in recovery mode I have this error:
[Recovery.cpp][main()] ################# factory reset start ###################, Thu Jan 1 00:00:39 1970
an:6585214
target = mmcblk0p44
Parse Error ()
major = 259, minor = 12, bs = 26340858, device = mmcblk0p44
's_size: 26340856, block_size: 26340856
[shs0917] just_exit: 0
Also how can I flash it? Especially from recovery screen. Sorry new.

Do the download mode and get it recongized as Qualcomm and fire up BoardDiag. From there, I have some files that may help. Unfortunately, until AFH (Android File Hosting) approves my dev access, I only have a ****ty server to host them and so I will only give the links out by PM. Standby and I will PM you what you need shortly.

My little antibrick toolkit just passed it's first trial.
The OPs problem was solved via PM. I will be sharing these tools shortly.

That is encouraging for those of us who have yet to make the attempt to rollback and root our device. [emoji4]

Try flashing with LG's original update software. It will download everything on its own and flash it to its working state.
Also hit thanks if this helped

Your phone is now fried. Take it to the service center, and have your motherboard replaced. Or even better, throw it in the trash.

There is only so much a phone can take. Try and see if you can bring your phone to emergency mode and try my earlier said method. Or else its toast. Sorry...
I didn't read this in any of your comments, but if you can boot into fastboot mode you can use fastboot or the program in my signature to flash a recovery to your device. Power off the device. I'm not sure what the key combinations are for the P500, but for the P506 press and hold "Power+Volume Up+Home". If you see a black screen with
Code:
Fastboot mode started
udc_start()
you're in fastboot mode. USB debugging must be enabled on the device as well. I hope it was on... Good luck.
Just go to service center and let them take care of it. That's what I did when this happened to my p500. If you live in Delhi go to gurgaon for the service center. You can't do anything else now.

[Q] MTK6589 will not boot

I was trying to install a new rom when they asked for a new CWM version. Seemed simple enough, plugged in the flash tool, got the green circle all looks good. Now starts up and says:
TOOL DL image Fail!
uboot is blocking by dl info
And every 15 seconds the screens shuts off and then on again.
So I finaly checked the DA DL All with Check Sum in the upper right corner and reflashed again. However no change the error still appeared. So I tried loading an older CWM that worked. no change.
Then I tried the format option in SP_Flash_Tools with the option to keep to boot partion and now the phone wont boot at all. I can still 'flash it' but nothing I've flashed makes any difference. I won't say its bricked because I do appear to have full USB flashing capabilities, they just don;t seem to do anything...
How can I get it into recovery mode again?
PS This is a Lenovo A820
How to fix - TOOL DL image Fail! uboot is blocking by dl info
Ok I'm really happy to say I solved it, here are the steps as simple as I can make them:
Go here: to needrom.com and look for the A820 option 3. Its got a 3 at the end of the URL. Sorry if someone else could post the link that would be cool. Download only the recovery only.
Using SP_tools (The one you just downloaded) Load the scatter file. This is in the same folder as the SP_Flash Tool you just downloaded.
Power off phone. Remove battery and SD card and sims. Don't connect the phone.
Click the tick box da dl all with checksum
Hit the download button. Waiting for searching then connect the phone.
Green circle, wait 5 seconds, unplug and switch on.
E Viola! Now your phone is rooted and fixed. You might want to install unclemobile tools and update the recovery to something else, cwm 5+ or something. Then you you can install new roms from the recovery mode.

[FIXED!!!]Temp Bricked and Issues restoring using the All-Variant tool

This isn't my first rodeo in the root world and I'm usually more careful when I know I won't have a custom recovery for awhile.
Well after using Stump Root everything was working fine and normal and then I pushed GTA III over to my applications because it wouldn't install.
I got a boot loop on the Sprint Spark animation. Downloaded the tot for zv4 aswell as the dll file. and it runs fine on the LG Restore tool but then boots into MiniOS and shows "Factory Reset 2"
Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this? I've looked everywhere for solutions on the G3 and even looked around on the G2 and no solutions.
Steps!
1 Download LG Flash Tool and LG Drivers
2. Download the tot and dll file for your devices.
3. Boot Into Download Mode(Power + Volume up when the LG screen Pops up press those keys again)
4. Open the Command Line and type devmgmt.msc and look for com and switch your G3 to port to 41.
5. Open LG Flash Tool and Put your dll and tot files in and use Board DL not Update DL(Very Important or you'll boot into MiniOS with a "Factory Reset Status 2" screen.
6. Start the tool with your phone plugged in. when It says ready unplug and replug your phone in. It'll run for awhile
7. It should boot into MiniOS just hit ok. Push power button plus touch the screen where it says Normal boot+(power)
8. Profit???
Where can i download the tot file sir i saw one but the link is dead

[SOLVED] Boot looped LG D120g. Only download mode and --useless-- factory reset

SOLVED
I've been able to debrick the phone! It's difficult to reproduce the steps, but it goes something like this:
- Being that the phone rebooted by itself [with battery on] the flashing process could never be completed successfully. So I noticed that the phone kept powered on when the battery was removed and it was connected to the micro USB. So I used LG Flash Tool 2014, and as soon as the process started (after selecting the KDZ file > CSE Flash > START > OK) I connected the phone, with the battery removed. The process started and had a
"Connection to Server failed. Try again in a moment."

error, which I ignored, so the flashing process went on background. Then it said there was an error and give me the option to retry. I did. The process started again, reaching 99%. Then the phone restarted and the perennial "Download mode" was gone! The Android with a charging bar below appeared. I put back the battery on the phone and after a few reboots more it was back on KitKat :victory:
Hope this helps someone else in the future. It made me sweat
____________
Hi. I've a LG L30 Sporty, also known as LG D120g. I've been using the phone and a day, three weeks ago, I had the brilliant idea of trying to flash Injector with Flashify.
The phone was rooted, running stock Android 4.4.2 and without any other issues. I have never been able to use the stock recovery (except for factory reset) because strangely the font exceeds the screen limits and the menu is illegible.
Now, the reason because I say it's "hard bricked" is because, at the moment, the only two things which the phone can do is freezing on download mode, and "factory hard reset" with VOL. DOWN + POWER BUTTON, and the POWER BUTTON once. The factory hard reset is confirmed, and only returns the phone, without rebooting, to the download mode.
I have tried ADB and LG Bridge, but none of them detect the phone. I've two firmware: D120AR10B_00.kdz and D120G10A.kdz. But (only tried once) now the phone is in a boot loop! It cycles every 40 seconds, taking with the dark screen to boot (or reboot) and 20 in download mode.
Well, any ideas? I've given up, but now my father could use the phone and I thought of asking around.
Firstly it is not HARD-BRICK
Its is just boot-loop aka (soft-brick)
Now its solution
1-USB Drivers (your device)
2-LG Flash tool / KDZ Updater
3-Stock ROM (other necessary file).
Try flashing it with stock ROM, and still your having boot-loop Don't worry do a factory reset and than good to go.

First of all, thanks for your quick response.
I don't know if it's relevant, but the phone is effectively rebooting every 40 seconds. Can a firmware be flashed like that?
Anyway I've tried. The flashing process reachs the third stage, the one with the phone and the up arrow when the software extraction in progress completes, and then there are 2 dead-ends: 1) A window which says
Connection to server failed.
Try again in a moment.
Click to collapse
And when I close it, I disconnect the phone and remove the battery, press VOL. UP and connect and put the battery on, and the phone starts again and I click "Retry". LG Flashing Tools says "Verifying phone connection..." and then "S/W Upgrade is in progress", but it never goes beyond %11. I believe that it is because of the boot loop =/
If I could only stop it...
Post your question here, some expert might help you.
Check HERE
I'm giving it a bump. Just once.
Any idea? I'll try anything (I think I had already, but maybe...)
NEWS:
On fastboot I can't list the device on it, or at least I couldn't yet. I've, however, noticed that the phone is detected by the computer.
When it's on download mode there are 3 new devices: 1) USB Composite Device 2) LGE AndroidNet USB Modem 3) LGE AndroidNet USB Serial port (COM13)
I've stabilized the reboot cycle by taking the battery out when connected to the computer. Somehow the USB cable seems to power the phone independently from the battery circuit.

Guide to return back to Indian Stock (C675) on V10 from any Custom ROM

Many of us are on custom OS and want to return back to stock Indian OS which was not possible till now. Below posted is a tried and tested method by me as well as my friend @ankan1993.
I assume you are unlocked BL and your device is atleast not bricked.
Please follow this guide step by step to get a stock working device. This is for Honor V10 Indian Version C675 and I'm not responsible for your loss if you make this worst by trying this on other variants/models or if you choose not to follow this guide properly.
I assume you are on Berkley TWRP with the latest version, unmodified one.
Downloads : (Keep both in your fastboot folder in PC)
Stock Recovery : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WEUHRrba1dV3109e7h7b3Hp_aJhy0vM8/view?usp=sharing (stockrec.img)
Stock System Image : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IABtk7HJ9ml6kOpytYHrnT6z3C1_9IfW/view
1. Enter TWRP and go to wipe -> Advanced -> Select system and data, and wipe them.
2. In TWRP, go back and Click Reboot button on main screen and reboot to Bootloader.
3. Connect you device and open cmd_here (open as administrator) from fastboot folder. ( I assume fastboot is installed and working in your system. You can check by the command "fastboot devices" . Device should show there. )
4. Type "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk stockrec.img" (It should complete without error)
5. Once completes, Type "fastboot flash system system.img" (This may show error like "Invalid sparse file format". Ignore that and keep waiting for 10-12 minutes until the system gets flashed completely.)
6. Once it gets completed, disconnect your device and then press Vol up + power, until it screen shows stock recovery.
7. In stock recovery, use factory reset and cache wipe option one by one and then reboot.
Hit thanks if you think it helped :fingers-crossed:
Finally, after days, after being tormented by the bugs of custom Roms we have something to cheer about. Kudos Oreopie! Cheers to the long hours.
Kudo's bro.. appreciate your efforts :good:

Obviously warning screen will come up, but at the same moment you have to just leave power button and keep on pressing vol down button, until you get into bootloader mode. It takes time bro and let me tell you one thing, no matter which mode you boot, no matter what ROM it is, once the bootloader is unlocked it implies that the unlocked warning screen will show and then it will be allowed to get into whatever mode you wish.
Try it as I told, be patient and follow the same guide exactly if you do not wish to visit service centre. There is nothing wrong happening with you other than an improper method being followed in haste

Because on custom you are on 8.1 and twrp doesn't support yet.
May be you can try dload the b161 version which is out on firmware finder now.
