I'm tired of this useless overlay warning when giving permissions - every time i have to force quit two apps in order to set them and so on
There's a way with root or xposed to disable this useless warning?

You can try it
http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.crossbowffs.nooverlaywarning
I tried but it didn't work, maybe you luckier than me.
Iam on nougat. Anyway to disable this warning without Xposed?
Google already fixed this problem on nougat, overlays gets disabled when permissions are asked and the warning is not shown anymore
On permission yes but not on sideload installing apps (apkmirror)!

so I installed this module:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2363189
and it works fine, but I ended up realizing that launching the camera by swiping right is more laggy than just unlocking the phone and clicking on the icon. Plus I think it's giving me some other issues
so.. I went to disable the module, even uninstall it.. but the camera is still there, always, to the right of my lockscreen widgets
how the hell do I get it out of there D:

Install module again, disable this function by build-in options, then delete module. Should work this way.
Hello to everybody...
I've been searching about this question, but I had not luck...
I'd like to know if I can use greenify without Xposed Framework (I have root access), and what options I cannot use without Xposed??...
Basically I want to use it in a Tablet to hibernate EVERYTHING (because I don't want notifications, just want save battery) -> \\Wifi will be off on power off screen//
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
you can use Greenify without Xposed.
You can't use aggresive Doze without Xposed.

Not correct. AD will also work without Xposed. Hibernating some system apps, GCM push and Deep Hibernation will not work without Xposed.
When you open Settings in Greenify, whatever options you see there will work. Xposed based features are grouped separately under Settings and you can open and peruse them.
Edit: I've not read the tnsmani replay...
I hope this won't be a problem... I don't care about GCM push, but Deep Hibernation could be useful...
I'll test it this afternoon...
Thanks
As the title says, is it possible to disable it somehow?
I find very frustrating that every single time I have to debug an app without any leftover data I have to delete it from that list first.
Thank you
Have you tried disabling it?

It doesn't seem like you can simply disable it
Actually, it seems It's a built in feature of the default drawer only.
Qoute from LG G5's manual:
"Note: This feature is activated on the default Home screen only. If you uninstall apps while using the EasyHome screen or other launcher, they are immediately and permanently removed from the device."
With all the new doze features these phone have in 8.1 is greenify necessary? I currently am using it but wonder if it could actually be slowing my phone down. I have s pixel 2 xl on Android 8.1.

Definitely not required on Android 7+ but can be useful to identify and contain bad actors. That said, utility is limited w/o Xposed. I would disable and observe.
Side note: adding tons of apps to Greenify without due cause is bad practice and can lead to undesirable behaviors and/or increased power consumption. Stick to those that exhibit poor behavior -and- can not be contained with native doze.

To disable greenify without uninstalling should I just disable its super user rights?

Disable in the normal manner in apps panel (under Android settings). If 'disable' is not available in your ROM (and you don't have an app to handle this) simply uninstall.

Ok so you're saying just disable with force stop?

No - disable with disable button. If your ROM does not offer that option then uninstall. Force stop is a temporary action.
Hi guys,
I'm using the smart lock/unlock feature on a Android 6 phone. But I can only select 30mins for the unlock-state, and smart unlock is very unrelyable.
My problem is that for using GooglePay, I have to set a lockscreen. But throughout the day I'd prefer having the screen always unlocked. Only in case I active NFC, I want the lockscreen to be active.
So maybe there is a way I could change the 'lock_screen_lock_after_timeout' settings to eg a couple of days (or even endless)?
Thanks
I faced the exact same issue.
I ended up following your suggestion and setting lock_screen_lock_after_timeout to several days.
It works, however the screen doesn't lock at all, which means when you press the power button you you will get straight to the launcher or whatever app was launched. Some people will be OK with it, but personnally I miss the "swipe to unlock" feature.
edit: I just noticed you are on Android 6. In that case, you could use Xposed in conbination with the lockscreen disabler module. It will let you disable the lock screen and trick Google pay into thinking it is enabled. It used to work great on my previous phone. Sadly, Xposed trips Safetynet so Google Pay will most likely refuse to work.
Can I use Xposed without root? Cause I don't want to root my phone just for that feature.
How did you set the property? Do you use any app?
The problem is, I know the property to be set, but I don't know how to achieve that
