Cant flash Roms - OnePlus 2 General

Hello guys,
first sry for my english i´m from germany^^.
so recently i tried to flash a new rom on my OnePlus 2 A2001. This didn´t worked for me and i bricked my devices. so i started to flash the original Oxygen 3.0.2 with stock recovery etc. with the qualcomm programm and it worked. then i unlocked bootloader, flashed twrp 3.0.2-2 and then i rooted.
So then i tried to flash a new rom. With ervery Rom Im getting status 7. Alright then i deleted the asserts in the rom but i even get this error. not even to delete the updater-script worked for me.
So actually overall i cant flash any rom and i need help.
Tanks for every respond.

Download Switch_tOS3_H2OSMMv3 and flash this zip before flashing the ROM, u will get a warning which no os is found. Just ignore it. Also before flashing, download incremental update for 3.0.2 and flash it after flashing the oxygen 3.0.2

I can't post a link because I am also a new member like you, and I also faced the same issue and I solved like this. If u need incremental update link, just search Mirrors for official Oxygen OS ROMs and OTA updates in google

Is Vanilla OS mm 6.0 and based on the open sourced Oneplus kernel sources?
The reason i ask is maybe it's a lollipop ROM and you would then need to be on OOS2.xx

Hydrogen OS on the OnePlus X

Hi There.
Before I start I would like you to know that I'm new here and have little experience with flashing.
I just got my OnePlus X and it came with Oxygen OS installed. I want to install Hydrogen OS on it because of its wonderful UI. I downloaded the ROM zip file from the official site. I copied the Zip and placed it in the downloads folder on my phone's internal storage, however when I try to install it from the stock recovery it always says that it failed. Can anyone please help.
Thanks
how can we help you if you don't explain a little bit more ? have you try to flash with custom recovery ?
what is the error message? try placing the file in the main directory. not the download folder.

First of all you should read all the threads here, for more information on flashing and custom recovery.
For flashing a custom rom on OPX:
- unlock bootloader (you're gonna lose all your data)
- flash a custom recovery (with this you can also make backups)
- flash custom rom (flash gapps if you want)
- reboot
I repait you should read everyrhing here, because you risk to damage your phone!

No, its running the stock recovery, however the bootloader is unlocked.

The error message is simply: "Install Failed". I tried placing the files in the main directory (root of the internal storage) however didn't work either.

i think you should flash it using custom recovery since you already unlock bootloader.

You need to flash custom roms with custom recoveries only.
You cannot flash them with stock recovery.
First install TWRP recovery then flash hydrogen OS

Does Hydrogen OS count as custom ROM?? I haven't tried but it should work with stock recovery. Since it came like this out of the box...
I might try it this weekend!

Yes Hydrogen OS is stock OS for you
But what are you trying to flash then?
the OP's phone came with OOS and wants to flash H2OS. he seems to have trouble doing that with stock recovery.
I'm done flashing for now^^

HOW TO SAFELY FLASH MIUI Based on MM

1. How do I upgrade to miui based on MM ?
a. For Unofficial unlocked
b. For Official unlocked
If bootloader is unlocked
Pls help I don't want to brick my phone as there is no service center in my city
Just update from updater app if you are officially unlocked with no custom recovery
if you have custom recovery installed flash fastboot rom of miui marshmallow.
if u have unofficially unlocked and have twrp then follow this:

I dont think there is any.
If u can take risk try lazy flasher
But at first download and be prepared for fastboot rom
i guess lazy flasher works for miui lp only.
so for marshmallow what i did was flashing fastboot rom from edl mode.
i flashed stable 8.0.2 though
so to go to miui marshmallow simply i can update via updater app chosing recovery package.
i also had unofficial unlock.
today i remove unofficial unlcok and successfully unlocked officiallly. no error:laugh:

Yeah we can flash directly bro. but we must flash via edl mode not fastboot mode.
fastboot mode might give errors i guess.
lazy flasher patches boot.img and other stuffs. i dont know its working principle
But it is used to flash miui rom via TWRP recovery
without lazy flasher it gives bootloop

The so called UBP is actually not universal. It is dependent on the version MiUI you are using. So instead of trying to find what the accurate UBP is, you can simply use LazyFlasher. Baically, the UBP is what the phone reads in order to find out what and where the OS (ROM) is. Kind of like the Master Boor Record in Windows. Lazyflasher takes care of this step without you having to split your hair trying to find the bootimg.

Can anyone tell me how can i run Google Apps in my mi5 chaina dev Android 7 based rom. I can't flash gapps. In twrp it's asking device decrypt password. Any other way to flash gapps or some other way?
I've been running CM on my MI5 for quite some time. I'd like to give MIUI8 a try but am wondering:
Will flashing a Xiaomi ROM overwrite my TWRP?
Will I still be able to use TWRP to switch back to CM?
Can I keep root privileges?
Any other potential issues i should be aware of?

Advanced wipe. Select and wipe all partition except microsd card.
Go to install and
Flash rom 9.0 zip
Flash gapps 9.0
Reboot
Note: dont flash any miui firmware zip. It will brick ur phone. Only flash custom rom.

Going back to MIUI after installing custom ROM?

Hello.
So i want to go back to MIUI, i have installed the Havoc-OS rom but i had too many issues with it, so i guess a more normal experience for a change would be great.
The problem is that i tried flashing the official rom through twrp and it never booted, the i tried the fasboot rom through miuiflashtool and it booted for like a second and then rebooted after saying something about corrupted memory so i couldnt finish the set up, and i keept doing the same, I tried flashing again with the flash tool and it iti didnt boot.
right now i installed twrp again, and managed to install another rom (ION).
but how can i properly install miui from this point? i suspect im missing something relly basic, but i havent toyed with roms since the lg g3 and english its not my main language.
thanks in advance
you forgot to turn off find device setting from your last MIUI rom settings. you need to flash your last MIUI rom version. which means If you were in MIUI 11, flash MIUI 11 now. if this dosn't solve your problem then install TWRP and flash XIAOMI.EU rom. after that, finish the set up and turn off find device, then you will be able to flash any MIUI official rom through mi-flash tool..
was stuck in same situation. what you need to do is to format data.
I'd suggest install orangefox recovery
format data
clean install one aosp rom again and boot
now format data again and clean install miui rom which you want to use
MIUI will successfully boot.
once it starts working, you can flash using Mi flash

I had the same problem, flashed again MIUI 11 to disable this "find device" but it does bootloop.
Clean flashed MIUI.EU rom and got bootloop aswell.
Also i'm having bootloops with aosp roms too, i dont really know what's going on. Usually fastboot flash always solved everything.
When I flashed miui recovery rom theam centre is in Chinese language I flashed global stable rom any fixes for that please
