Can anyone tell me how can i run Google Apps in my mi5 chaina dev Android 7 based rom. I can't flash gapps. In twrp it's asking device decrypt password. Any other way to flash gapps or some other way?
I've been running CM on my MI5 for quite some time. I'd like to give MIUI8 a try but am wondering:
Will flashing a Xiaomi ROM overwrite my TWRP?
Will I still be able to use TWRP to switch back to CM?
Can I keep root privileges?
Any other potential issues i should be aware of?

Do you have to use the China version? Why don't you try with international version?

Multi window support is present in this official build?
how can flash gapps?
i flashed gapps but i cant select data sim in start.
My Mi5 fails Google's SafetyNet check after the update. Did you notice this as well? Or can it be caused by some left over data when updating from marshmallow to nougat?

Hello guys,
first sry for my english i´m from germany^^.
so recently i tried to flash a new rom on my OnePlus 2 A2001. This didn´t worked for me and i bricked my devices. so i started to flash the original Oxygen 3.0.2 with stock recovery etc. with the qualcomm programm and it worked. then i unlocked bootloader, flashed twrp 3.0.2-2 and then i rooted.
So then i tried to flash a new rom. With ervery Rom Im getting status 7. Alright then i deleted the asserts in the rom but i even get this error. not even to delete the updater-script worked for me.
So actually overall i cant flash any rom and i need help.
Tanks for every respond.
Download Switch_tOS3_H2OSMMv3 and flash this zip before flashing the ROM, u will get a warning which no os is found. Just ignore it. Also before flashing, download incremental update for 3.0.2 and flash it after flashing the oxygen 3.0.2

I can't post a link because I am also a new member like you, and I also faced the same issue and I solved like this. If u need incremental update link, just search Mirrors for official Oxygen OS ROMs and OTA updates in google

No im trying to flash Vanilla OS from Oxygen3.0.2 not flashing Oxygen
Its okay just flash switch_tOS3_H2OSMMv3 and flash vanilla is rom

Is Vanilla OS mm 6.0 and based on the open sourced Oneplus kernel sources?
The reason i ask is maybe it's a lollipop ROM and you would then need to be on OOS2.xx
1. How do I upgrade to miui based on MM ?
a. For Unofficial unlocked
b. For Official unlocked
If bootloader is unlocked
Pls help I don't want to brick my phone as there is no service center in my city
Just update from updater app if you are officially unlocked with no custom recovery
if you have custom recovery installed flash fastboot rom of miui marshmallow.
if u have unofficially unlocked and have twrp then follow this:

I dont think there is any.
If u can take risk try lazy flasher
But at first download and be prepared for fastboot rom
i guess lazy flasher works for miui lp only.
so for marshmallow what i did was flashing fastboot rom from edl mode.
i flashed stable 8.0.2 though
so to go to miui marshmallow simply i can update via updater app chosing recovery package.
i also had unofficial unlock.
today i remove unofficial unlcok and successfully unlocked officiallly. no error:laugh:

Yeah we can flash directly bro. but we must flash via edl mode not fastboot mode.
fastboot mode might give errors i guess.
lazy flasher patches boot.img and other stuffs. i dont know its working principle
But it is used to flash miui rom via TWRP recovery
without lazy flasher it gives bootloop

The so called UBP is actually not universal. It is dependent on the version MiUI you are using. So instead of trying to find what the accurate UBP is, you can simply use LazyFlasher. Baically, the UBP is what the phone reads in order to find out what and where the OS (ROM) is. Kind of like the Master Boor Record in Windows. Lazyflasher takes care of this step without you having to split your hair trying to find the bootimg.

you are unlocked officially or unofficially?
you can simply flash miui rom.zip and lazy flasher if you are unofficial unlock
if official flash via twrp cofface directly. no need of lazy flasher
i just flashed 8.0.2 via edl bro. not gone to beta. i said u can go to beta too via updater if you want.
you can directly flash beta via edl
no sim card issues bro

If you were on b360, you wont be able to boot custom roms. If may need to go back to lollipop and then marshmallow or just fladh full firmware of b350. You can boot till b350 and any version of b360 or higher.

I think you need to flash Superuser by TWRP, it will be rooted, then you can flash rom, i already flashed my phone by lineage and Cosmic (7.1 nuguts). by the way i have Huawei GR5-kii-l05.

Well. Thats the modem issue . To elaborate , kernel panic since it cant start modem and tries to restart the device in order to enable modem . this never happens and leads to endless reboots

xiaomi eu Based on China Stable rom Adnroid 10
V11 11.0.1.0
Download from here
install from twrp recovery
Yeap, nice one, just dirty flashed (Clear cache & dalvik 1st) from mi.eu stable 11.0.8.0 via OrangeFox.
Everything works great so far, no issue, better then mi.eu stable v11.0.8.0 Android Pie.
One note: since the ROM upgrades Android version from 9 to 10, the data encryption changes (if you enable it), so the next time you boot into recovery after upgrade you won't be able to decrypt data to flash new stuff (as I tried to do with Magisk). Normally the recovery displays a password prompt for decryption but in my case they didn't. My solution is to flash the latest TWRP from the official website. Not sure if anyone would encounter this problem, so I'll just throw it out there.

You need to upgrade your TWRP Recovery.
I was using OrangeFox R10.1_3 when I upgraded to mi.eu Android 10, it works great with Android 10 encryption, I can see files after I enter my lockscreen pattern and flash files (I only flashed hosts file, I don't use Magisk).
