Internal storage 128 MB only after a crash - AT&T LG Optimus G

The phone(rooted) was working great and I decide to move to CM11 (to pair with my MOTO 360) as there was no official Kitkat upgrade.
CM had some issues but after a while the nav-keys started mis-behaving and random touches. So, I decide to go back to stock ROM. I followed the standard process and finally after using the LGNPST tool (I had used it in past to fix the "Security Error Boot loop" successfully).
Back to stock ROM v4.1.2 - things were stable for a while but the nav-key touch issue persisted. And one day suddenly apps started crashing. I restarted the phone and all was gone! With my internal memory only 128MB!
I can't hard-reset (it does nothing after selecting factory reset) and using the LG tool I get an error (at 85% - "Fail to write partition Primary GPT, 512th Sector.") Everytime I restart the phone, its factory reset (any app installed are gone!)
How can I repair my Primary partition? Or any way to get back my storage using a stock or custom ROM.
Thank you.

Even I am facing the same problem. Can anyone help

[Q] [SOLVED] Possible bricked Moto Razr M, help me crack this case!

Hello,
What started out as a spontaneous root adventure turned into a nightmare after I messed with one too many options in Titanium Backup. Fortunately I have a full app backup, so if I can get my phone back to working condition it will be good as new.
Phone stats: Droid Razr M (XT907) running 4.1.2 at time of initial crash
MY PROBLEM:
After restoring and wiping (several times) I am stuck with this scenario. I can boot the phone just fine, and I can get through the new phone setup app, but the moment I attempt to exit the setup app I get this message "Sorry: Setup has stopped working". Setup closes and I am left with a blank desktop, only outlying system UI visible and responsive. I am able to get to settings though a conveniently placed notification, but that's the only way. I am able to access all settings and developer options, which is good, but when I go to look at the apps I notice a lot of apps (not all) are coming up as 0.00B of space. When I reboot the phone I get stuck in a "System Update: Loading Apps" cycle that never ends until I hard restart my phone.
WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
* Using RSD Lite to flash the factory default kernel or whatever: FAILED, can't get past the first out of 19 steps
* Using adb and mfastboot to flash the system image manually: FAILED, doesn't seem to want to install the boot or system images
* Using Droid RAZR M Utility v1.20: FAILED, same failure as adb.
* Downloaded many different drivers, programs, roms, zips, whatever. If you want me to try something again, I probably have the files for it.
I have basically given up trying to figure it out myself at this point, stayed up all last night searching for solutions (I'm a computer science student, who can blame me?) to no avail. It's up to you guys to help me save my phone!
SOLVED
The problem was that I was trying to flash an old firmware version. Got the updated version from a handy developer site with all the phones listed.

[Q] Internal memory corrupted

TL;DL: Phones 16gb storage changed to 128mb overnight. None of my files/apps/pics accessible.
I have the international version for the S3 (GT-i9300) with 4.3 stock firmware installed (rooted)
I woke up this morning and looked on my phone to see that my primary launcher, nova launcher, had been reset to the original layout when you first install it. I was confused so I restarted my phone and it went back to touch wiz. But now none of my apps, files, pictures, etc. from the internal memory on the phone are accessible. It seems like it went back to an old backup I once had due to the lack of my newer contacts on board.
When I connected the phone to my PC it only shows 127mb/128mb where as on the storage settings it shows available space of 5.75gb/16gb where all the non system memory are labeled as miscellaneous.
In application manager it shows all my apps i used to have but now they all have the android logo and 0b of storage.
The phone also prompts a message every couple seconds saying clock is not responding.
No idea where to go from here seeing as i can't even access all of my internal storage... Would appreciate some help on my situation, thanks in advance!
EDIT: Tried factory reset, tried installing play store apk, tried flashing an updated firmware, tried booting into clockwork recovery.... all with no luck
Flash full stock firmware with Odin then factory reset.

Thanks for the suggestion. I flashed stock firmware and ended up doing a factory reset through the recovery menu. All seemed well as my phone stopped heating up like it used too, battery lasted longe and all the symptoms I was facing stopped. Unfortunately when I woke up this morning the phone factory reset itself again. Same symptoms as before but this time I can view files, even though everything got deleted...
My question is now should I just flash a different rom like cyanogenmod? So far for the past 2 years I've only stuck to the stock rom and I've faced nothing but troubles. Wondering if I might face the same thing once I convert.
Thanks!

[Q] Encryption unsuccessful on LG G3 D855 Stock Android 6 Marshmallow

Hi!
I got some major problems with my G3. I was on stock Android 6 (rooted). Worked fine for some months. Then I decided to encrypt the phone and activated this option in the normal android settings. After some time the phone restarted and I got the "Encryption unsucccessful" page and cannot do anything anymore.
After reading through the help forums I tried the following steps to solve it:
- factory reset
- wipe eveything in twrp and flashed system, boot, modem manually to Android 6 again
- repaired all filesystem partitions in twrp
- many many more factory resets
All didn't help. The only thing that changed is that when coming to the "Encryption unsucccessful" page now the phone hangs up after the next option I choose (shut down or restart or factory reset) so I have to take out the battery to restart or shut down.
Any suggestions how to solve it and maybe also any suggestions what might have gone wrong? Don't want to kill the next phone the same way by just enabling encryption!?

I solved my issue by restoring Lollipop (v.39) with the tool from the wiko website and then performing the update again; the phone started again (at v.41) and I was able to download Marshmallow from the next system update.
Issue was probably caused by some configuration or application.
Still slowly downloading Marshmallow now, so cannot say anything about the next update, but I guess that will go well, since the phone is reset now.
Just to follow up: Marshmallow is working fine on my Wiko Fever, much better than Lollipop. Amazing update.
Instructions for others after having read some comments from other people experiencing issues with the upgrade:
- BACKUP all your data before upgrading from Lollipop to Marshmallow, as if you would buy a new phone; I luckily did, as I wanted to set the microSD from removable to internal
- remove the microSD and (after having a backup of all your data as per step above) format the card as FAT32 on your PC; better to have a clean MicroSD card for after the upgrade I think
- reboot the phone in recovery mode and do a: wipe cache+reset to factory settings
- once the phone is reset and started, proceed with upgrading to Marshmallow
- don't know if needed after the upgrade to do an additional wipe cache+factory settings reset, doesn't harm to do it though
- be unhappy for the hours lost in restoring the phone data + apps + reconfigure everything
- be happy of the improved phone software
Questions upon questions.
So, i got the notification for the update last week, and i saved it until today to install it. The file downloaded was just 7 mb, i had enough battery for the intallation of the update (30% recomended by the software), something got messed up and an error message with the dead android character appeared. I know i lost all my things contacts and sd card... tried to hard reset the damn thing and nothing. I already googled the problem and i found nothing similar to what i get, i'm stuck in the recovery screen and the phone doenst shut down, every time i force it, it just boots back up after 15 30 seconds. I got to be honest i tought it was just another update but aparently its a "new" operating androind system. They could have told me with a update log or something...

Interrupted encryption and now impossible to install any MIUI based rom

Hi all, I'm experiencing a strange issue but very annoying and I hope that I can find some help with the expert out there. I installed a MIUI 11 based rom and everything was almost perfect. I had to encrypt my phone because it's a company phone and they want encrypted phones. When I was prompted to to so I've followed few indication and the phone restarted and it stayed for ages with the boot logo apparently doing nothing...there was no signal of life but maybe it was just encrypting in the background and I didn't know...other times I encrypted my data I could see a timer but not this time. Well, as a matter of fact I've force restarted the phone and from that moment on all my problems started. After few seconds of bootlogo a message errore popped up saying that I had interrupted the encryption process and that I would have needed a factory reset to restart phone...and so I did...but no way, the same message was always appearing...tried also a full format, factory reset, repairing file system...NO WAY! still the same message. I was panicking...then I've decided to install an AOSP based rom and BOOM, the phone booted up and I had my phone again...Then, proud of this success, I've decided to retry installing MIUI 11; so I made a clean flash (formatting data including internal storage) and, WTF, after few seconds the same [email protected]#@#ing errore message that I had interrupted the encryption process and that I should have made a factory reset, that obviously didn't worked, exactly like the first time.
So, forgive my looong message, but what the hell is going on here??? How is possible that this stupid error message survives to all the full wipe I made including internal storage??? how the hell can I get rid of it? It seems I can't install any of the MIUI rom...tried a couple but same result...
please help...I very much prefer MIUI11 than any other AOSP or similar ROM...
thx
andrea
twrp ,Mount vendor, wipe vendor system data internal.
Try to flash latest vendor only first , then flash the whole rom.
This might help bcuz vendor makes phone encrypt itself.
