Hello,
I have ran into a problem. I am using Symphony Xplorer W69Q and I was looking for a custom ROM. I was liking mostly MIUI. So I have contacted them and asked if there has any Custom ROM for my device. They told me that there has not any ROM for my device. So I have searched on google for any other custom rom and get one of MIUI 7-
So I have decided to make a try.
One I have collected Philz touch recovery and flashed the ROM, I have lost my IMEI. I didn't take a backup of my current ROM too. Finally I have no way to get SIM card working as they are no longer being detected.
I think I made the mistake by wiping the cache and also dalvik cache as per their silly instruction. I have installed the ROM successfully and there have not any other bug except the SIM card/IMEI error.
When I press *#06#, I get-
IMEI1- Invalid
IMEI2- Invalid.
Then I flashed the following Stock ROM using SP Flash Tool
(Symphony_W69Q_1_FL_V03.0_V1.0)
But still I can't get RID of the Invalid IMEI problem.
I also tried to use the SN writer tool. But I couldn't find the database file listed here
androidmtk[dot]com/use-sn-write-tool
(I couldn't get any file of MDI_DB and AP_DB in my stock ROM)
Also tried this tutorial
on Youtube-
Android phone invalid imei repair
by Azeem Md
But it not also worked for me. I couldn't find the database file for my Phone.
So I am still stacked on Invalid IMEI problem. I also tried Chamelephon.apk and Engineering mode in MIUI 7. But there the CDC Information can't be selected because it is grey there.
So is my phone dead now????.
Please anyone help me by providing me a working solution with necessary file download link.
Have you tried this? There are video tutorials too.

Hi. Recently i bought an Alcatel OT 6030a and it came with the rom from my provider in Argentina (Personal) I tried to replace alcatel apps by gapps and the problem appeared when i removed Phone apk. I did not find any way to install it so i decided to flash the stock rom. I tried to do it with One touch upgrade and it retrieved that i have the last version of the rom it so I formated the system and the result didn't change. Then i tried to flash a rom mean TWRP but it retrieved me Zip error and unable to find partition for path /emmc when i tried to do it by sideload.
Then i got a rom for flashing with Flash tool but it retrieves me an error PMT changed for the rom and it must be downloaded.
Now i don't know what else to do. Please help me. Sorry for my english, i hope you can understand me.
Hello All,
First the device specs.
Device: QMobile A900 MTK6589 dual sim chinese device.
ROM: 4GB
OS: LG G3 Kitkat 4.4.2 rom.
Now the Problem
I am also facing this problem after attempting to re-size the partition using meteos mtk6589 rom edit apk and then did clear eMMC / Factory Reset using stock recovery (i think it formatted /data partition etc) .... Although my phone is still working properly without any issue, i am unable to root or install CWM by any means (tried mtk mobileuncle tools, tried spflash tool) but not working.
First, i tried to root using RootMaster vRoot, motochopper run.bat but failed. It did however installed SuperSU but when i start it says binary needs to be updated. I continue but it fails to update. I used RootChecker app to check the possible root but it says device is not rooted. I searched xda-forums and googled for a solution but couldnt find any. One person stated using Format whole flash to reset the partition table but i haven't done that worrying my phone will brick.
Secondly, i tried flashing cwm recovery using spflash tool (with new scatter file generated with MTKDroidTools). After flashing, it says All OK and shows green circle, however, when i reboot in to recovery, i get stock recovery and no CMW.
Please help me how to root my device and install cwm as i am unable to revert to my old backup taken with cwmr.
Regards.
Please some one ???
Anybody care to help pl? :banghead:
Still waiting for xda experts replies ....
Have a look at this thread to enhance the app storage to an acceptable limit in A900. I was also thinking of Meteos App first , then tried the procedure in the link below :

Thanks.
Yesterday i changed my custom rom(puusy fap v2.5) to Mystic Os v6.
After some time of usage ,phone showed that sim1 is not detected(only 1 sim in phone).
Did Reboots,same problem.
I googled it and and found that my IMEI is showing Invalid.I did Many things like MTK Droid Tools etc.
Nothing Happened .
Then I Used SP Flash Tool And Flashed Stock Rom via scatter file.
I thought it would Solve my Problem But Same Problem.
Then I somewhere Found That by Deleting Nvram Folder In Data In root Section In RootExplorer apk.
I did It And Guess Everything Back Working. Sim1 working and Imei is shown up.
Bt Now another Problem Struck Me.Now I Couldnt go into Recovery .
Not by turn off-volume up and power. Not By Rashr apk.Not By ROm Manager apk.Not By TWRP manager. Not By Flashify.
What Should I Do?? Please Help Me To Fix It.
Well if you got the imei fixed then make its backup and then try to flash stock ROM for your device and further root using Vroot (iroot) and then use rashr to flash the correct recovery.img file for your device.
Well PS the image size check is turned off.
And reboot to recovery
Hello everyone, i just bought a s2 lite and tried to flash it but when i tried it gave me an error. The error was
"pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded please select format all download" same with upgrade mode.
I red on some forums that the solution was selecting "format all + download" in sp flash tools and then restoring a nvram backup so you dont have the imei issue
I formatted my device using that method and flashed a stock rom i found in the umi forums, but when i boot my phone it seems like the screen is broken, you see a lot of colors and flashes.
I tried flashing again with other roms but i had the same result.
Please i need some help, i dont know what can i do now.

I have the same problem. Published ROM probably are not compatible, on the phone from the ROM 6 or 7 month 2018. But I can't find such
The new ROM is out that supports the newest S2 Lite hardware. The old (current) roms only supported old hardware, and with these roms your screen didnt work after reboot. this is the umidigi forum link to the new rom :

and this is the topic where umidigi themselves mention the info about the new hardware:
