charger problems

Hi all.. I have a problem with my htc one. Mainly, even while charging, my device is using more power than it is receiving while I am playing a game. I bought an alternative adapter as it had increased ampage .. this one (amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AAIN77A/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which i am using to connect with this cable (amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ES5ZSW/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
As I said, not only am I using more power than I get from charging, but a notification on my phone also tells me that I am using a different adapter and I should use the official htc one.
I hope that someone here knows more about this, as I want the best charger I can get, hopefully I can still charge even while using the phone !
I have heard rumours of some kind of device that when plugged in, tells you hot optimal the power is by way of 5 led lights, all 5 being lit indicating the max power, while less than 5 suggest that you need to make changes, such as not putting it into a surge protector etc.... also this plug is modified specifically for better charging off mobiles/tablets. However extensive googling and I don't seem to be able to find this device.
Please help me.
With the original Charger it doesnt work too? Or you do not have a original charger
Same happened with me!!
Same warning pop up in my HTC one too
I used the original data cable which i got with my htc one, used nokia's orignal data cable but it didn't solved the problem then i tried with an LG charger & now the charging speed is better & i am not getting that error anymore!!

Which charger do you use? Why would it work, does it have higher ampage?
The amperage (amps) of the charger you use does not matter. Amps tell how much electricity is flowing. After the amps reach a certain limit, the HTC One would automatically prevent itself from receiving any more amps. You could try getting a charger with a higher voltage, BUT this has the potential of damaging the phone. Volts are the pressure/force/strength of the current, something the phone can not regulate. Basically, you can either just wait and let it charge before playing the game, or sacrifice the phone for game time.
P.S. if there are background apps open you can try closing them to reduce battery drain, and therefore increase charging speed.
isnt this happening because htc has quick charge disabled? they do that to prolong the batter life since its a real pain to replace the battery.

Actually Amperage does matter. It dictates how fast the battery will charge. A 1 amp charger will charge the battery twice as fast as 500 ma charger. The voltage is also critical and if you go over 5 volts you will damage your phone.
Could this be related to the type of cable? USB 3.0 capable?

Fast charge/ Quick charge problem

Alright I have a weird problem my fast charge / Quick charge is no longer working anymore it only says charging . I have checked to see if it was the charging adapter and cable and both of them are fine because they were fast charging my Note 4. Only 3 things I can think of that might be the problem well 4
1. The charging port is faulty and needs replaced
2. The battery is faulty
3. The processor is messed up but unlikely because it is working fine
4. Something in the system is keeping it from fast charging/ Quick charge
Does anyone have a idea what might be wrong with it ? My phone will normal charge fine it just will not fast charge anymore
Thanks
Might be the cable. Have you triend a different one?
The Charger needs to communicate with the phone before it switches to fast charging mode. If your cable is broken and communication is not possible it will not fast charge.
This is the reason a charge on cable (without the two data wires) will never work for fast charge.

like I said in the above post it is not the cable and I have tried multiple ones still does not work but when I use the same lg fast charge adapter and cable on my galaxy note 4 it fast charge and even when in use the Samsung fast charge and adapter on my v10 does not work but does work on the note 4.
This happens to me too...I just unplug charger from wall and back in, after that it's all good. I think in my case problem is because charger stays in wall non-stop.

I have tried that still no luck at all I am at a lost as what it could be.
Fast charge
I have had the same problem. At first I replaced the battery didn't help so I ordered a new OEM charger. It worked until tonight. I thought I'll give it a little smack on the table. I plugged it back up and now it fast charges just fine. I'm going to try the same on the other charger.

you can check this:
1. Make sure your device is fresh, not too hot because the thermal sensors inside the phone if detect the battery too hot, the charger dont activate fast charging.
2. Make sure the cable you use is good enough, i mean not so flimsy or thinner, it must be fatter because the current fast charge use.
3. If that i say above is right then plug the fast charge into the socket and plug it to your phone, if with in 10 seconds the round circle of fast charging dont appear on battery icon then unplug the charger and plug it again until it ativate fast charging.
its a common problem i have too,, i use the original charger and cable who came with the phone and even the phone are cooler and so on sometimes fast charge dont ativate at first attemp.

Help with NEWLY INSTALLED redmi note 3 battery!

hello,
over the last year the battery on my kenzo device has been performing poorly over time, to the point where the battery doesnt charge past 60% and that charge doesnt last more than 2 - 3 hourse of use!
also over the last year (phone was bought on october 2016) the included charger and usb cable stopped working altogether! so now im charging with an old samsung 1A wall charger and samsung usb cable.
so i finnally installed a new battery, its an official xiaomi 4000mah battery (bm46 just like the one that comes with the phone) and while battery life is much improved and standby times are much improved, the battery also doesnt charge past 70 - 75%,
could this be because of the usb wall charger and the cable?
im guessing i need a 5V - 2A charger ? could a quick charge 3.0 charger work?
also, i have a custom rom installed (aim_rom) and any oreo or nougat rom i install show the little ray on the battery icon like when its charging even when its not charging! any thoughts? thanks.
DONT USE QC 3.0 IT WILL DESTROY YOUR PHONE. Our Phone doesnt support QC 3.0
where did you buy the battery? i'm looking for a new one

Oukitel K10000 Max Charging issue

Hi,
So I've got a brand new phone very recently: less than 7days ago.:
I'm overall very satisfied, the battery holds charge for 3 days of normal use etc, but I'm having an issue with the charging;
I'm using Oukitel's OEM Cable and wall adapter and get approx 25% with 8-9h of charging. It's worth noting that the "flash charge" worked the first time, getting me from 30% all the way up to 60 in maybe 2h (supposed to be a ........9V2A/12V 1.5A charger), I then unplugged it to get to work. Data pins do work well, I'm able to transfer files and the phone recognises if it's plugged over AC or USB. I'm having the exact same speeds as my 5V 2.3A wall adapter, so i'm thinking the flash charging doesnt work at all anymore.
I have factory reset the phone 3 times now and unplugged the wall adapter for exended period of times to empty capacitors.
I'm really out of ideas and don't really want to send it back because of the cost and time (almost took a month to get there!)
I've sent a message to the support a couple days ago but no answer yet, I think it's hopeless. Anyone having better ideas than me?
I'd really appreciate ANY feedback, even if 20% get me through the day easily.
Thanks for your time.
PS: The phone doesnt heat up AT ALL while "charging" with any of my adapters, including OEM, and i'm having no other type C cable to test with.
I guess the Charger's data pins could be the issue, I have taped data pins of my usb cord and the phone thinks it's charging over AC everywhere, I don't know what to do to verify this though.
(edit) By touching the USB cord, i've noticed window's disconnect sound, I think the cable could be not stable enough and "disconnect/reconnect" with the charger often enough that the flash charge doesnt kick in, I'll try different positions tonight and keep this updated.
OUKITEL K10000 max
That was the cable, bought a fast charge adapter and cable and it now works. Using new cable on old charger works. To anyone having the same issue, just buy a new cable. z

Slow charging issue.

I am posting here for first time. This issue was present when I got this device then one day I flashed ancient os rom and elinder kernel . Surprisingly my device started charging fast full in about 2 hours. After that I changed the rom to colt os 6.0 without elinder kernel. Same full charge in 2 hours . After few random reboots and about a weeks usage I decide to install evolution X for which I took the usb out of the charger and put it in my laptop to transfer the file. After flashing I put it back in the charger and checked charging current it was around 300-400ma about 4% charge in 10 mins. I restored my backup but no avail. Then I flashed havoc os 3.5 I get 4%/10 mins but after I install ancient os I get around 32%/ hour . If please anyone would help me it would mean a lot thanks . And I really hate 4 hours charging time.
I'm aslo stucked:highfive:
Try charging with original charger and USB cable, if you are already charging with original one try with different USB and charger.
See if there is any lint or dust in charging port or USB cable that may also slow downs the charging.
Try flashing elinder kernel again.
Clean flash again (do backup everything)
And lastly it might be related to battery since device is already 4 years old(not sure about your device's age). lithium ion battery does degrade over time so that might be causing slow charging.
sometime i do also get slow charging but thats related to USB cable in my case, i need to adjust USB in specific direction to charge fast. but weird thing is i use same USB and charger in other devices and it charges with good speed without any USB adjustments.
Fix
If any one is wondering if i fixed the issue yes i did seems that if i use a 9v 1.5a charger the phone charges to 90% in 1 hour 40 min on ancient os 3.5. using any other charger delivers only about 800ma and my phone charges in 3 hours. I have also tried samsung a71 28 watt charger but the phones does not charge even 1% in 5 minutes using that charger.

Kenzo is strictly made for 5V 2A charging. If u keep on using high volt charger then u will blow diode on charging board and will stop charging.
