Is there a way to kill the download yet?
On rooted marshmallow.

I seriously doubt you are running Marshmallow rooted. You must mean 5.1.1. There's a thread that tells you how to block the OTA ( I think it's in the Tungskick 5.1.1 root thread)
Sorry, that's what I meant.

Sounds like people have issues downgrading from MJ4 but if you're still on MI5 downgrade to the official MI3; Update to MJ4, root and TWRP again. (Anyone is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong...)
I'm still on MI5, being patient and cautious.
UPDATE: Similar thread only several posts down with info...
I think I might wait also. To many steps to screw up lol

Can I downgrade via a FULL WIPE 4.4.2 NC5 .tar.md5 from a 5.0.1 OC1 via Odin?
I'm on stock, but I'm not rooted.

If you took the OTA update to Lollipop then you are out of luck, you can't downgrade. If you flashed it via the instructions in other threads, those threads explain the process.

Is it okay to use FlashFire on ROOTED Samsung J7 Prime? I'd like to use it for OTA updates... Anyone tested it? Is it safe?

once it's rooted or modified by anyway its goodbyes to OTA, if device status isn't official you wont be able to receive OTA updates but you can update it manually via updato.com
Even if i use flashfire... worst case it'll caused me bootloops?
