Cant send messages and call after 6.0.1 update - Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

Hi guyz. I need your help because i have 2 problems after 6.0.1 update. My model is E2303 and i have found 2 bugs. 1 i cant make calls, its show me that im callin someone but after secs the call ends. 2 cant send messages. I went through pc xperia program troubleshoot. After reinstalling the firmware through the program, again the same bug. Please help me.
What i should make? Unlock bootloader and flashing ftf manual?

Yes, you can manual flash FTF file, but without unlock bootloader. Before that, try factory data reset from Settings, if no result, then flash it with Flashtool.

I tryed factory reset and again the same. I tryed to flash the ftf but after some secs while flashtool prepares files, the phone reboots to the firmware

Turn your phone off, start Flashtool, don't wait recognise the phone, click flash button /then select flash mode, not fastboot, and select correct ftf file. When Flashtool prepares the files, you will see information with hold vol- and in the same time connect the phone to computer. After flash start, then stop holding down the button.

[Q] ICS How to upgrade

Hello guys,
I have a problem over here. I want very badly to install the ISC ftf file that is posted here in one of the treads but the problem is that my phone is rooted and Im unable to upgrade using the flashtool methode.
Maybe I'm mistaken the button that has to be pressed or something. When I press vol up is gets in fastboot mode and vol down is flash mode but after pressing that last the phone boots and can not get into the flash mode anymore.
Can someone give a hint?
Thanks in advance

You really should learn to read a bit of english.
In order to flash this ROM you need the nAa ICS kernel too, which is mentioned in the same post where you got the download from.
But anyway to get your phone working again:
Leave it disconnected from your PC
Start PC Companion or SEUS (whichever you have)
Choose update
(It can't find any updates because your phone is NOT connected to your PC)
It will give you a repair option
click it
it will warn you you will lose all your user-data. (accept that)
it will let you choose your phone-model from a list
choose your phone-model and click next
it will download the firmware and ask you to connect your phone in flashmode
(turn off your phone, press the back-button and plug in the usb-cable OR plug in your usb-cable, press HOME and POWER buttons at the same time until the screen goes really really black and then push the BACK button)
If the dialog on your computer-screen disappears, leave your phone alone until it says it's done.
After these steps, you can try everything again.

I suppose the phone is off now?
If so try: download stock ROM and put it in flashtool/firmware, start flashtool, choose the stock rom with wipe data, vol - and put USB in so you can enter flashtool mode and flash official ROM.

I've tried connecting sola to PC but it seems like flashtool can't detect it. Is there other way to connect it to PC so flashtool can detect the device? I already downloaded stock firmware
Still no luck
1) Hold power + vol up until you feel the phone vibrates 3 times.
Quickly hold power down, and shove the USB wire in.
It should detect your phone in flashboot now.
2) Alternatively, after the phone vibrates 3 times, keep a hold on vol up to get it into fastboot. Then flash the correct kernel for the rom you have.
Note that ICS, GB and CM roms all use a different kernel. Make sure you have the right one.
3) Lastly, if your phone's bootloader is still locked, you can just repair using SUS.

Sk17i Stuck at Sony Ericsson Logo

Hi I'm BrianXYap New to XDA. So I recently just rooted my Sk17i but didn't unlock boot loader. I was trying to install cm10 on my Sk17i.It obviously failed so I gave up. (Using CWM) when I clicked reboot system, I was stuck at the Sony Ericsson logo . I tried to Go to the recovery mode or any other modes but they don't work. Can You DEV's Help me? also when I plug it in to my computer it doesn't charge for some reason. there is also no LED notification light, is it because of the failed Flash caused all these things to happen? Help!
Flash stock ftf Rom via flashtool.
And cm10 needs unlocked boot loader to flash it's custom kernel.

heres links - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792
Flashtool method
Download the correct firmware file for your phone at the bottom of the post.
Make sure Flashtool is installed.
Place downloaded firmware file(.ftf format) in Flashtool\firmwares(by default C:\Program Files\Flashtool) folder.
Start Flashtool.
Click the lightning button and choose Flashmode.
Firmware should appear there, if you have it in correct folder. Choose it.
Turn off your phone, connect USB cable to computer, then press Volume Down button and connect USB cable to your phone.
Flashtool should detect your phone and starts flashing. Follow the instructions.
When it says „Flashing completed“, unplug your phone and turn it on.

What volume combination and stuck at the logo mean? You do flashing firmware via flashtool with device off.
It said connect USB cable and then power + vol - .I did it but nothing happened. It's still at the logo. I installed an official firmware once and a blue led indicator showed up. Now it doesn't .
Be sure that the phone is off then plug the usb cabl and hold volum down key in the same time and your in flash mod then open flashtool and see videos on youtube on how to flash ftf files using flashtool and that should be over

do you really want a cm10 rom? then unlock your bootloader (but be mindful that you may lose your warrant and bad things might happen to your phone) here's the tut http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1879750
after you unlock your bootloader
flash your kernel through flashtool
then install cm10 rom
but if you want to go back to your stock rom
you need flashtool and obviously your stock rom (ftf file)
click the lightning-like button then choose flashmode
select the rom then you'll be prompted to connect your phone
hold the power button and volume down button at the same time until the led light is blue.
wait to complete and your back to your original rom
i hope it helped you

[Q] Xperia pro not enter flash(or fastboot) mode. LED blinks only...

Hi guys,
I have mk16i(xperia pro), and installed latest lx cm11 build. Then, I tried dark's kernel. But I wanted to revert to the stock kernel.
Now at that point, i couldn't enter the fastboot or flash mode anymore. The OS running w/o any problem. But i'm stuck with the dark's kernel(which is very battery unfriendly,10 hour standby)
When i try to connect the phone to PC while pressing menu(or back button) the LED blinks for miliseconds and the phone continues switching on normally (enter OS).
I know it is my fault to install nonstock kernel but I really need help. If anyone experienced this issue, it will be great to hear the advice.
Thanks in advance
Try taking out the battery for a few seconds, reinserting it, pressing the button for fastboot mode (I don't know which one you have to use for the xperia pro) and then you connect it to your PC while keeping the button pressed. This should work

Thanks for the reply.
I tried it many times. But no chance... The LED blinks then the phone goes into OS.
I tried to reboot fastboot via adb commands. Again same result. Directly goes to OS.
Flashtool also stucks at "Device will soon enter fastboot mode" nothing happens. Phone stays on...
Is it hw fault? I will be very disappointed if so I replaced its digitizer recently by paying too much money.) It was expensive when i bought it also... I cant stand buying a new phone these times... pff too many issues...
Sounds weird. I have made the experience that it sometimes helps to take the battery out, then keep pressing multiply and long the power button. Wait ~10 minutes. Insert the battery and try again!
Hopefully it helps!
Otherwise could maybe be kernel related. Try to flash another one (with recovery).

i think you done it allready but better than have adead phone:
- re check if all drivers installed (android sdk with its google driveer, flashtool drivers)
put out battery , put in & hold volume down while plugging cabel in. (if led not stays blue, pull out abttery, put in & reconnect but hold other button like menu key) --> try all buttons
i cant imagine flashing darks kernel broke yr bootloader. theres sth wrong with your machine / setup / whatever.

Yea my fault... my main phone's a galaxy s3
If nothing works, you can still "emergency" flash a stock firmware with SEUS, or not?

Thanks for the answers. Yes unlocked bootloader.
Since the device doesn't boot into "flash" mode also, i am not able to flash ftf through flashtool or any firmware via SEUS.
I had managed to enter fastboot mode once!
Happened with USB3.0 port via "adb reboot-bootloader" command.
Still, I am not getting into fastboot again...
I will inform you, thanks guys.
EDIT: I did it once again thru adb in recovery and flashed a stock kernel. Let me see the battery drain is due to kernel or some hw damage.
I am sure hw is damaged...
Ultimately solved...
After i am able to enter fastboot mode via some funny method described above, i erased system partition and flashed kernel.sin of the official .587 ftf file of Sony Xperia Pro.
Now the device is able to enter flash mode and fastboot mode via normal ways...
Thanks guys...
EDIT: I dont understand how is it related to kernel? I thought that bootloader files are damaged which i cannot correct them.
There are many .sin files in the stock .ftf which i cannot flash any of them without flash mode.(i was able to enter fastboot mode only)

Guys please help. I am very confused now: When i connect the phone to charger(AC) when the phone is OFF, the phone tries to enter flash mode!?! Led blinks green then the phone continues to open and offline charging animation comes as usual.
Sometimes the phone connects the charger in flash mode! But doesnt connect to usb in flash mode or fastboot mode. I know it is a bit confusing but that is the situation.
Thanks...
