Just trying to help, not hinder.
The original poster posted an accessory in the accessory thread.
Nothing wrong with that whatsoever, but you flamed him for it. Why?

This is a thread, new opened in the Topaz accessories-section.
If everybody opens a new thread for an article he found on ebay it's gonna be a mess here...
Sorry, even me, I don't want to flame people for this. I just want the forum is more clear and simpler to search for something, for the ones who want to, like me and probably you.
I'm sure you also see the difference between now and two years ago...
Because of your comments I have consulted a mod to look what I'm doing wrong... Answer was clear: nothing. He just said it is a "losing battle". I gonna do it all a little calmer, to prevent comments like yours, so no more need to correct me everywhere...
Well, then you should also ask a Mod about what the purpose of the accessory forum is.
And let's face it, your threads are just as pointless as the ones you are attempting to correct.
You do nothing to try to help, that's why I sent you the LMGTFU link, because it gives them the answer while also teaching them that they could have found it in a search- without bad mouthing the member!
Also, you troll the forums to increase your post count, but you are NO senior member. You too are a noob or would already know that you are using bad forum etiquette.
We are a diverse community from all over the world and it is not some place to go around causing bad feelings for everyone.
We have a saying in the US;
"You attract more bees with honey than vinegar" This means when you are nice, people will listen to you more than if you are rude.
You have been rude.
Yes, its annoying when people don't search and read, but you will NEVER win that battle.
Teach, don't correct.
I'm done.

Like I said: You're the best.
Done.
I see they're only shipping within the US. Has anyone found a store that ships international for a low price? Cause I don't
For anyone how was still wondering: I found the headset on ebay.
Very nice price and international shipping: http://bit.ly/7PCbmZ
I bought this one and works well.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, $7.95 for HTC branded adapter!
I bought one of these HTC remotes ages ago. Love em. although they are more expensive. Remember wearing them in the summer and people staring at them in whilst in town lol

i know its probs off topic but anyone know how i could get it working with sense?

Write In Campaign

Here's what I did today: I clicked on the "Escalation Mail Box" Contact link on the Asus support website (http://vip.asus.com/eservice/cus_suggest.aspx) and I asked them to release Transformer USB/Charger cables to the US Market. I explained how much I liked their devices; that I own both the TF and the docking station and how worried I am to only have one cable that could get lost.
Here is the reply email I received:
Dear Valued Customer:
Thank you for supporting and using ASUS products!
Your comment has been received by us and is currently in process. We will improve and as a treatment, you can reply through the link to check the situation. Thank You! [link to open ticket]
If everyone writes in, maybe we can demonstrate a strong enough user demand to get the most essential accessories out on the market.

Just did the same. One cable with no spare is not cool...
The guy who sells the FolioGuard stuff, xjarl I think, mentioned he got his hands on the 40pin connector and asked in the general thread what he should "do" with them...but the thread got buried super quick.
I thought a million people would ask him to make power cables but...

Do you think you could find that thread again and forward the key info to DevCake (the guy here who does the DIY hardware articles):

If anyone can hack together a substitute cable it would be him. So, if there's a guy somewhere who can get the connectors and there's a guy here who can determine which pins we need to wire to a standard USB cable (or charger or whatever we need), then we should put those two together.
Thanks,
glg
Just sent my request as well. I have the Radio Shack charger wall wart w/adapter but I'm very nervous about not having a dongle that fits the TF's port.
Guess I'm spoiled - a week after launch there were adapter galore for the Galaxy Tab on ebay.
I'm hoping the free market will save the day soon here...yikes!

I wouldn't call it spoiled, it seems like chargers and cables should be available readily for any device, what this is....is ridiculous.

I tracked down xjar and messaged him about 4 days ago but no response so far. That connector is the holy grail, find it and I'll be able to make a GRIP of cables and accessories.
I've just done so asking about availability here in the EU. They don't seem to be anywhere!
I got a response back:
Thank you for contacting ASUS and providing your feedback. You may purchase the AC adapter here:[http://us.estore.asus.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=3613] Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for your support.

The 12th? Whats taking so damn long.
Letter sent. I hope they get their head's out of eachother's asses.
This situation is really irking me. I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have gotten a different tab is only to rectify the accessory situation. These adapters should only be costing like 5 cents to make. I don't understand what is going on here.

Perhaps they are not yet ready with software support ; but then again they already have support for USB through the dock

Oh I'm specifically just thinking about their charger cables. I *hate hate hate* that I only have one. As far as I can tell the only places you can buy them they are like $40. Ridiculous IMO b/c that sort of thing should be pretty cheap. That is a pure profit item, if it were even in stock in the first place.

My bad, I thought it had the wrong connector but when I zoomed in I see it is at a bad angle. $40 buck is a little expensive, especially considering it is defective.
Out of stock already!

But when you go to that site, it says charger is out of stock and to click on link to provide e-mail address to be notified when the charger will be available!

[Q] Any case that fits with 11 pin adapter?

Hello guys,
Does anyone use a case that as suficient space in the hole of the micro usb to acomodate the 5 to 11 pin adapter? The adapter is rather large and forces me to take my case every time I wanto connect my S3 to TV.
I was wondering if the "Spigen Modello Series" is large enough on the micro usb connection to acomadate the adapter. Has anyone got on and could measure it? Thank you in advance.
Best regards.

Yes, i've read the full topic and saw the nice thread about cases. But anyone didn't mention the detai that I want to know.
I was tring to post it in the acessories section, but the forum gived me the warning to post it in the Q&A section. I guess I wil do it anyway.
Thanks for the input.
Maybe you can try a micro usb extention cable. Then you're future proof in case you want another case.
Good idea!
Never tought of that. I will search one in e-bay. Thanks!

Pogo Pin Charging

Hey guys, does anyone know which pogo pin is for plus and minus, my HTC's USB port is dead, and I was wanting to charge it up. If anyone knows, I would really appreciate it, thank you!

I know that on the Galaxy Nexus, the one on the far left is negative, while the one on the far right is positive. Perhaps this also applies to the HOX+?

what do you mean.
You can buy a micro usb to hdmi adaptor on amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Generic-Micro-USB-HDMI-Adapter/dp/B005NG71K8
I would also like to know if it supports slimport
It doesn't work with my Micro-USB/HDMI (MHL) adapter. I don't have Slimport to test.
I have a slimport on the way... arrives in two days however. If know one can fill us in i will post a follow up.
Seems like a silly thing to omit from a device.

This tablet has quickly gone to "skip" for me. Build problems out the wazoo, random heat issues hot enough to damage the battery, and now it can't even do HDMI?
Screw you, Google. Guess I'l stick with my nexus 10 for yet another year.
Same here...

I have a Google answer about this but I can't post links after 10 post
In google groups, in product forums go to Nexus 9 and find mi post named "Nexus 9 and Slimport doesn't work"
They said to me that the micro usb port doesn't support video output.
This is a major bummer
