Are you saying the vibrations stop working all together?
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I never mentioned vibrations!!!
I should have explained it a little better though
when you make or receive a call and you are on the phone the screen turns off and disables all button presses because the proximity sensor is covered
but even though the display is off and the sensor is covered you can still press buttons whilst on the phone
so far I have tried sending a text
cut people off
muted the phone
put the phone in to airplane mode
added events to my calendar
and more
all this with the side of my face while in a call

For me it's sounds like Proximity sensor of Your Xperia Z2 isn't working. You can test it with apps, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=imoblife.androidsensorbox&hl=ja like this
Proximity sensor works fine the first thing I did was test it
Well.... I can't think about any other reason.... As soon as I find infos I will share

[Q] Stop the wake-up gesture

Hi guys. I wonder if there is an option to stop the wake-up movement recognition. In the night I am flash by my watch lol. Any ideas?

That won't help with the gesture activation.

I'm assuming he/she meant mute / DND the watch by pulling down from the 'home screen'. If so, yes. It will help with the gesture activation.
When I do it, the screen doesn't light up when at 45ยบ.

Thank you for the solution but I use the watch to wake me up by vibration at the morning. So mute it not help me . It would be better if we have an option in the firmware to switch on or off the movement wrist detection.
I have the opposite problem, I can't get my lg watch to wake up by moving it, I've tried different movements and nothing, the screen is set to be always on but the only way to wake it up from its dimmed state is to tap the screen.

If really nothing works and the watch is not muted you probably have a defect. Especially if this was the case from the moment on when you got it. Request a replacement from where you bought it.

Try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.procoit.wearmylauncher and activate the shower mode. It still vibrates but the screen is dimmed and won't turn on if you accidently touch it or move your wrist.
Godd idea, i will try.

[Q] Keep Screen Lit during maps navigation?

Hey everyone,
Just got my G Watch today. I've been playing around with it, and have noticed that it goes dim while using navigation on it. Obviously that isn't very good while driving, because then you have to tap the screen and swipe the navigation card back up. Does anyone know a way to stop the watch from going to the always active dim mode while using the navigation?
Thanks in advance,
Nick M.

1.) This has been answered before
2.) This happens everywhere not just in navigation
3.) No (I wish there was though)

[Q] Double Tap to Wake/Swipe to Unlock Success Rate

I'm curious if the double tap to wake and initial swipe to unlock functions are working consistently for other users.
My double tap to wake success rate is about 60%. It doesn't seem really tied to length asleep, either.
On the lock screen, it rarely registers the first swipe to unlock. I've tried waiting a second to make certain I'm not swiping too soon, but that doesn't seem to matter.
I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue. I'm still on the L release and haven't manually updated to Q since I don't want to jeopardize my return ability at Best Buy.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Same issue 100%. I assume it's something linked to the drivers, as if the touch sensors are taking longer to wake than the screen.

Thanks for the quick reply. When you said "Same issue 100%" do you mean that you have both issues or is it just the double tap to wake?
Thanks again!
Both.

100% functional here on Q - clean install. L, for me was crap. Lagging and losing touch registering.
same
I gotta hit like 30 times hard to wake up. But it works fine if screen wasn't turned off for long time.

Sprint HTC One Max No wake from power button

New to all this, and was wondering if there is a way to use something else to wake and put to sleep instead of power button. Looking for help!!! Can someone walk me thru what to do?
If the phone is on and charged you can plug it in to wake the screen and set the screen time out to something like 30 seconds to have it turn off. There is no tap to wake on this device so that maybe your only option.
Tenounce
Thank u for the answer, but cant always be charging. So is there any way to swipe to wake?

No. There is no form of "touch" to wake on the one max. No kernel support for that function. Don't necessarily need to leave it charging just plug in and unplug for the screen to come on

I use this app, a wave over the proximity sensor wakes up the phone and I have it set to go to sleep when I set it down on a flat surface. I also use screen off app when there's no flat surface

if you are willing to root your device, then you can install xposed framework and explore all the wonderful modules that work under the framework. then install the sense 6 toolkit module and enable the "wake with volume buttons" and map double tap on lockscreen and double tap on home and double tap on status bar to "screen off"... done!

BTW, mine did this before. It cost me $11 in parts. The power button is a removable ribbon cable.
