Hi, if you are new to the rooting community, I would recommend downloading a pre-made recovery, as custom recoveries are rather difficult to make.

Hi ALL! I'm new here. But I've read through the forums a lot of times and it only got me confused.
I have a short list that I want to do to my SGA. I always get lost in the tutorials that i follow. So please, if anyone can help me. Thank you.
Here what i want to do to my phone:
1. Upgrade to Gingerbread. DONE
2. Root. DONE
3. Install CWM
4. Install RAM scripts
5. Deodex
Please tell us what are the tutorials that you didn't understood.
Cheers
Hi, Zecanilis, thanks for replying.
First off, how do I install CWM? Or is it already part of rooting it?

If you are planning to update from a stock rom to DXKPD you can use Kies. Odin is also a option.
I prefer you too root first before installing CWM? Much less work

Don't be disappointed with other Devs. Its not their fault you're a noob and don't know how to use Google. Search before you post redundant topics like these.
In before lock.
Edit- Here's a solution, buy a REAL Galaxy Note 2.

Try again from square one:
http://droidfirmwares.com/how-to-root-galaxy-note-2-dual-sim-n7102easy-tutorial.html/2
There should be no reason why the recovery is not sticking, but DO NOT flash CMW that is for the N7100, it needs to be for the N7102.
Also, use Google.

Hello guys, i've already root my S Duos 7582 through this tutorial http://androidxda.com/root-galaxy-s-duos-2-gt-s7582.
It was very easy and the mobile was flashed, then i need the CWM Recovery.
I Installed Rom Manager, that tells me that GT-S7582 is not supported yet.
I would post in the forum to ask for a little help, but i'm new user on xda and 'i can't message to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2594957.
What can i do?
Thank you guys

i dont think this device has a custom recovery, it happens with unpopular phones, most dual sim phones are unpopular and dont get anything.

don't say bad words to dual sim or low end devices, you may have forgotten dude that win i8552 is one once successfully capable of cwm that is already made available in this forum...otherwise JASP roms would not exist for any reason....
n8000=4.4.2
i8552=stock
s7582=stock

Hi,
i have two Flames from Mozilla. Unfortunately, they discontinued FxOS for phones, so i'm trying to create my own Android custom ROM for Flame. I cooked something with Android Kitchen, but when i try to install it on Flame through sideload, i see only error about package verification - i think that custom recovery can solve this and ignore signature. I tried to find TWRP for Flame, but nothing...
No way AFAIK
Maybe this one can help:

Hello people!
So for some time I have been trying to find a custom recovery for my tablet, without any success, I tried using the cwm builder online but it just gives me an error saying "505 bad gateway". I am currently rooted using kingroot, and have a backup of the current recovery if needed. Can please someone please help me out? I can give more specs if needed.

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is that I don't have a PC at the moment, or else probably I would follow one of those guides. I really need someone to do it for me, I can send all the files needed. I only have the tablet that's why I tried the online builder, but it does not seem to work, or maybe its because I'm on android.
