My cellphone data is constantly "uploading" or "upstreaming" even though I'm not uploading anything which is causing my messages and data to only partially work.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
I had downloaded the most recent update from T-Mobile but my phone was fine for about a week and then this started to happen.
I tried factory resetting my phone but that didn't work.
I even rooted my phone and installed a rom but no luck.
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance!

Ive been having this same issue. Att 2.2. Seems like everytime I go on I have a cinnection issue. I hit retry a bunch of times then my connection suddenky kicks back in.
I thought AT&T's network was acting flaky. This started happening to me after upgrading the market to 2.3.6. Worse, when I was on the phone last night talking, E (EDGE) was indicated instead of H (3G).
I can't verify this, but I believe the problem is with the update to the market.
Had this till I did a factory reset on 351 now its working fine again.
yea me too wierd at least itS only the market and in comes back after a couple secounds

Can you please tell how did you do that? did it from recovery mode or from settings-> privacy-> factory reset? anything would help.
Thanks in advance
Boot into recovery by holding the two volume buttons then turning the streak on. But the issue returned today.
Lets get some command ground on this. What version is everyone running?
I am on Stock 351 rooted baseband 35100-US
Rooted 351 with 351 baseband on AT&T.
Just a thought here. You might want to check around the forums and see whether all phones are affected, or if it's just Streaks on AT&T.
Hey guys, think i found a fix. It consists of merging the mms settings to the ATT US apn then deleting the ATT MMS apn. more info and a guide at my post here
Is this works I have same problem also using AT&T
This problem is always occurred to me I don't know the problem but this trick help me to recover the market connection problem,
1. since this problem occurred when using WIFI I go to setting->wireless&networks->unmarked wi-fi
2. try connect to market using 3G (it's always work for me)
3. after succeed connect to market using 3G, I go to setting again and marked the wi-fi.
I hope this can help to solve the problem without turn off, clear cache or factory reset.
Recently an issue has come up with my mobile data internet on my s3. For most of the time it works great but then suddenly it stops working at all. It won't open any pages, whatsapp/facebook sometimes work but not always but pages nope, it just gets stuck at loading. Tried restarting but it doesn't help, safe mode either. What is weirdest is I started tethering and it worked on my friend's phone when he connected to me!
I'm on 4.1.2, not running any rom. Anyone got ideas what to try or what it might be? I reset and deleted apn files but didn't help. I will backup and wipe it all as last resort but I really hate doing that because it takes too much time.
A wipe and reflash, recommended to update to latest firmware, are the first steps to take.

So I've seen this asked multiple times with no answer, hopefully someone knows something they haven't posted? (Or I didn't find?)
I can't seem to send MMS messages unless I disable wifi.
No, mobile data is not shut off, it is working perfectly fine. I can even receive MMS with no issue, but SENDING doesn't happen until I disable wifi. I can sit with it enabled for a few minutes, disable it, and it will immediately send. I tried the goSMS/Handcent trick, no luck.
I've had this issue for months, but honestly I don't send THAT many mms messages where it's an issue, so I forget to ask usually. Has anyone found a decent fix for this?

I have the same issue. I typically just toggle off wifi until it sends and then toggle it back on. Annoying, I know. But, I've done factory resets and had the same issue come back eventually which leads me to think an app that gets automatically downloaded is the culprit. I'm on 4.3 TW rooted w/ locked bootloader (god bless replacements).

I was able to find a fix after searching for a while... at least for MY version of the problem. I rebooted into TWRP and "fixed permissions" and then it started working fine again... at least for now.
If you're still having this issue, it could be your APN. That seems to be a common issue with mms not working properly.
I had the same issue with my GS3 after I installed MOAR. I tried everything including checking my APN with no success. Eventually I replaced my secmms.apk with a port from the Note 3 and it worked fine after that.
Are you rooted? Running custom rom?
Hi,
All of a sudden I'm having issues while using wifi connecting to some apps but not others. When I turn off wifi those same apps load properly, one of the apps that this occurs on is the reddit app itself. Thinking that I had some issue with my phone I've already performed a factory reset. Once I got everything set back up, I'm still having the same issue. Up until now I've never had this issue on my phone before. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so what did you do to fix the issue ? I'm currently running android version 9 on my model # H931. Thanks for any help provided.
Pixel 6 was having an issue where it was stuck authenticating on my WiFi. All other devices were fine. I reset the phone's WiFi under settings and it seemed to solve the issue for a few minutes but now it can't see any WiFi networks and mobile data isn't working. Calls and sms are working. Tried safe mode, still no connection.
Anything else I should try?

Might as well wait for the next OTA update which should release today. Hopefully that straightens things out without having to take a destructive approach such as factory reset or clean flashing the factory image.
If you only had a problem with wi-fi authentication I'd first be looking past the phone. Sometimes it's the router than needs a factory reset. Or if you only had a 4G/5G problem it could be SIM or carrier related. But since both are on the fritz there could be a problem with the phone's radio partition which is often fixable with clean starts.
