how can i increase boost Mic volume? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

when i do a call in speaker mode (and normal mode sometimes too) the mic are very quiet so no one can understand what i say. My phone have root and 10e installed
how can i solve the issue?
gesendet von meinem LG G5 H850 V10E

after some google requests, i have now get all value in TX in /system/etc/lge_model_mixer_paths_tasha.xml to 106 so the micvolume are higher as before...
maybe solve this the WA Audio issue too

replace all in /system/etc/lge_model_mixer_paths_tasha.xml and set chmod to 644

Sorry but what are You doing? Your Question has Awnsered about 100 Times here... You have to Turn off the Fluence Mode for Your Microphone and Speaker. Fix can be found on my Thread... You don't have to boost the Volume in any way, it will just damage Your Speakers

Try rebooting with quick boot (or whatever it is) turned off.
do all that... incl. factory-reset. No sound...

Any way to boost call sound on my Le1s?

Hello, I have had the le1s eco x509 with android 6.0 for around 2 years now and it works well. I have rooted the phone and also installed viper4android through magisk recently to boost the sound of my device and while it does work wonders, the in-call audio is still low and I have trouble listening to the speaker in busy areas. My phone has stock rom marshmallow. I would be very grateful if someone knows of a way to fix my problem. Thanks!

Cant stream music to bt speaker when using builtin fm radio

Hello guys, bought for my wife v30 few days ago and got wierd problem. My wife love to listen our local radio using built in fm radio (no need to use data network). But she cant stream that music to jbl bt speaker, because then radio goes to off and show info cant switch on radio when bt headset is connected by bluetooth. Headset has to be connected to listen fm radio because its anthena. I already used ordinary headphones and same, also change in jbl settings to recive only audio. Try the same with soundbar and still nothing. All is working perfect when she use network online radio, but when she connect bt headset and try to connect with jbl to stream music suddenly radio switch off and show info. Any knows issue or how to fix it?I choose v30 because of built in radio and very good photos and now cant play radio. Thank You.

Try enabling the quad dac globally, connect a headset to the headphone jack
and THEN enabling bluetooth connection/streaming
theoretically it should work but hardware-wise and software-wise there could be limitations (not possible) or the software doesn't have that option.
Was there a phone before that worked the way you expected and described ?
i think i used wrong word when try to describe my problem using my poor english. i ment when i plugin headphones to enable radio, because headphones also doing as anthena, then when i try connect by bluetooth with JBL, radio switch off. Its like i cant connect by bluetooth, to stream music from radio, with any other devices like speaker or soundbar when i have pluged in headphones. Phone thinks that i have connected headphones set, but i have connected just headphones.
P.S. i just bought phone 4 day ago

two things:
the phone only might be able to output (sound) to one device at a time - so when plugged in the headphones it might be impossible to "mirror" this to bt headphones at the same time
the BT chipset might be limited to only use one function at a time - so that bluetooth and FM is mutually exclusive
several devices (or most ?) have a combined BT/ANT/FM chip - so it might not be possible to use all features all at once (could be a hardware limitation)
or that Android cannot do so (several output devices at once).
http://gopinaths.gitlab.io/post/android-audio-framework-architecture/
Since Android Pie there's the option to use several bluetooth audio devices at once - so there, in fact, could be those kind of limitations but applied to headphones and BT audio at the same time:
https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/...cted-simultaneously-via-new-developer-option/
This will probably require a workaround in the app itself. By default, Android picks which output device to use by some internal priority list, so bluetooth may have higher priority and switches from the headphone audio path.
Maybe the radio app relies on the current output device to determine if it can work, instead of actually checking that it has an FM signal.
It may have a receiver to "listen" for when the audio output path changes (Android would "broadcast" this change), which you could trick by telling the app that the headphones are the current output, but I don't know enough to write a script or app to do it, sorry.

I ran into this on a different phone awhile back. Not sure if it was my V20 or my Galaxy Note 4 but yeah the headphone jack takes priority over BT. There was an app that allowed you to force it but I don't remember what it was called. Think it was soundabout or something like that but this was quite awhile ago.
i will check tomarrow that apk soundabout and try some settings maybe it helps. Also if pie can use up to 5 devices then i hope v30 will get it some day, will try soundabout and give u a call

Hope it works. I honestly don't remember if it fixed my problem or not to be honest it was so long ago. I think if I remember right you need the paid version because they changed it. I guess just buy it and try it and if it doesn't work just do the refund
This isn't a matter of output device priority. Looks like FM radio is analog all the way. I don't think it runs through any ADC in any point in the audio path. So it can't work with Bluetooth. The Quad DAC also can't work with FM Radio.

This wasn't a question whether quad dac *can* run FM radio or not (of course it doesn't) but if the output could be routed through quad dac and the FM Radio stuff thread the aqstic onboard DAC and then to the bluetooth,
something like if the basic jack-like functionality existed on LG's Android implementation

FM can't be routed through any of the DACs. There's no trick you can do with any of LG's tools/apps/options that would achieve this.
Soundabout also crashes on the V30.

Try method 1 from here?
As far as the quad DAC is concerned: FM radio is a function of the SoC (why don't all SD-equipped phones have FM radio? Probably manufacturers not willing to pay QC for the privilege of enabling it), and FM bandwidth is low enough that the SoC's DAC can handle it no problem. I imagine they could rig something up to route the audio through the powered DAC for potentially more volume, but it's just not worth the trouble.

yeah, just tested - FM Radio app itself says "hifi dac isn't available due to FM" (or similar message)

that app isn't available on Playstore (at least not for me) anymore - it's available from https://www.apkmonk.com/app/com.maxistar.monobluetoothfree/ the file seems to be virus-free according to the virus scan:
https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/...5812832b5f607dada7676826540f3471bc0/analysis/
and Spirit FM locked up the phone when trying
unfortunately it dosent work, i downloaded apk then pressed switch on so it says connected to device, before that i connected to jbl and when i pluged in earheadphones and opened radio it show me same problem. And thats true soundabour crash when tryied to open it.
This is unbelievable, and there is no solution for that.

I'll check later if nobody else does: does Android send out a "headset unplugged" broadcast when a bluetooth audio device is connected?
If not, that might mean the FM app is actually watching to see what the current audio path is, which could be kind of annoying to work around...
Someone needs to take a peek into the app and see what broadcast receivers it has.
Unfotunately im not as good as u are with that things, so i cant do anything else just asking for Your help. I cant take a peek into the app i dont know how. I can only do and try all advices from here and what ive read on network. Maybe the only way is wait for pie (if v30 get it) and then try change there how many devices can use bluetooth. Someone from here said that android 9 pie will have that choise.

Interesting and you are correct about number of Bluetooth devices...
https://www.theverge.com/2018/8/8/17659526/android-9-pie-best-small-useful-features
On Oreo, you are limited to two Bluetooth devices. Pie allows five.
But I'm not sure how more Bluetooth devices well help you stream the over-the-air FM radio to Bluetooth?
You will probably have to use online radio to get Bluetooth connection.

Yes, we are guaranteed Pie. Ever since last year we've said it won't come before 1st quarter of 2019, and most likely 2nd quarter. V40 and G7 and even V35 have priority over V30.
But we will get it.

Emui 9.1 no audio in Google maps

Hello.
After update to Emui 9.1 I don't get audio over phone when my mobile is connected over Bluetooth.
The settings in Google maps are set to audio over loudspeaker. In Emui 9 I don't have such a problem with audio.
After downgrade to Emui 9, the problem is gone.
Anyone else with this problem, or any tips?

I had the same problem in 9.0. No sound over Bluetooth to car speaker and no sound from phone. Turn off bluetooth and I get sound from phone. Same in 9.1 hope someone finds a solution
This isnt just Mate 20 pro issue, I had the same problem on my galaxy S6 when connected to cars bluetooth. I still didnt try my mate 20 pro how it will work with my car...
I noticed it too, cause all I want is incidentally listen music over Bluetooth, but mostly just listen to the radio, so I used the switch in Maps settings to output just that audio over the phone speaker. But now in 9.1 my if I listen to the radio the Maps navigation directions are gone, cause my car audio is on radio and not on Bluetooth.
I now disable the audio output in Bluetooth settings and just keep the phone output. When I want to listen music over Bluetooth, I re-enable the the audio output.
Same here with Honor 10
Same happens to me. Was working fine in Emui 9, setting is broken in 9.1. So frustrating. I mean how hard can it be to fix this? I had this working fine in earlier versions of Android with Xposed lol. Not rooted anymore though, so no more xposed for me.
Nothing new about this I guess... It's a pain.
Happens to me (Honor 10), and to my wife (Huawei Mate 10), both after emui 9.1.
Also noticed that notifications won't make any sound on speaker while connected to cars BT.
It's still the same with EMUI 10 too. Only sound from Google Maps over speaker with Bluetooth disabled.

Question Low volume bluetooth

Hello,
This is my first Xiaomi phone and overall im pretty satisfied with it. Thé only issue om having is, i use my phone constantly through bluetooth in my car and when playing music i have to crank it up to 25 tot have thé same effect that i had with my Huawei P20 on volume 12 in my car.
Is there a fix for this? Ive seen through Google that changing thé region would do something but u tried some of them but thé effect stats thé same.
Thx
Hello,
Yes, I also have this problem in my Renault Megane. With my old Mi 8 Lite, no problem, the sound was much louder...
got this issue too.
MIUI, inbuilt smart equalizer is particularly at fault there.
Install Goodev volume amplification and set to around 7%. U welcome
@Anarchy4jaxx
Tested the following things thurs far:
1) absolute volume is turned on by default (louder -> poor quality)
2) absolute volume turned off (volume significantly lower)
3) disabling bluetooth a2dp offload (after reboot nothing happens)
4) changing region (no change in volume, maybe just higher volume step)
5) The next possible step is to find a way to get access to modify system via root, but its read only... eh
This low volume i suspected was due to my bluetooth devices, but the same devices work at higher volumes using other phones or computers - basically anything that isnt this phone is louder. I suspect that it is the software [im guessing you're on stock rom like me?] It may be worth trying to flash a gsi aosp build as a way to check if this is a MIUI specific problem.
This is a big concern for me because i bought the device specifically for audiophile purposes -> assuming bluetooth is the future, 5.2 version is future proof. I hope this low volume issue isn't hardware related.

Yeah i use it in the meantime, but i would like a permanent fix. Soundboosters make the songs sound less Quality, if you know what i Mean. But in the meantime it Gets the job done.

My Opel Astra is fine with volume when connected over BT. The only thing I see asa problem is that I can't read SMS messages on vehicle's player any more, as I used to with the previous Mi9T. I know it's not android 11 related, but Miui (12.5) or BT version (v5.2) related.
