Is there one you can refer
Thanks
Many, many,m...... but you can also use Wear Mini Launcher with his "interactive touch" -> one button overlay to access at 9 apps.
Wear Mini Launcher is what I use, too. It's like having the equivalent of your phone's app drawer.

Have there been any attempts to access the car dock app without the Motorola branded car accessory?
I've seen posts about the media dock tricks but haven't found much on the car dock app.
Thanks!

Yes you can access it with out the dock
Easiest way is with a launcher replacement like Launcher pro. Then do the following:
Add to home screen -> Shortcuts -> Activities -> Car dock (click to expand options) -> Cardock (com.motorola.cardock.main.CardockMainActivity)
That will add an icon to the homescreen that will launch the car dock. Works Flawlessly.
Thanks for the information. Is there a way to do it without the use of a launcher? I'm currently using the stock launcher and very happy with the speed.
If I were to do so through LaunchPro, would it remain following uninstallation of the launcher?
I haven't tried it myself as I love Launcher Pro, but some people have reported that if you create the shortcut then unistall the alternate launcher, it will remain.
If you install anycut from the market, you can create the shortcut on your home screen. I just tried it and it worked perfectly.
just install the cardock launcher (it's in the google car dock app (v2) threads) and you can launch it like any app. i'll attach the apk tomorrow if you can't find it.
Can someone please tell me a way of how to hide apps on a non-rooted Evo 3d and other phones? I have only seen apps that require root for this feature to be effective.
Thanks
You mean just from the app drawer? Or punch in a secret code in the dialer or something?

"Go launcher ex" allows you to hide apps from your app drawer, if that is what you are asking.
ADW does that too, open up the app drawer, hit menu and set up group.
App Locker II - Fake Crash is what I use. Instead of hiding the app it just mimics a stubborn app force closing all the time. Don't really have any apps that need securing more than that. That's the free version, the same developer makes more secure paid versions.
Audio manager. looks like an audio app but you can actually have the fake crash report show or also hid apps/pics/vids completely with root. That along with private sms box should secure your phone quite well from wandering eyes. Not that I know from experience or anything...
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

I like that a lot better than the one I've been using. For a free app, it has a ton of features. Thanks!
A way to hide apps
I am looking for something to use on a non-rooted phone. Something that can hide the app from the main menu listing.
Thanks
Another vote for GO Launcher Ex. I've tried the major launcher apps, and GO seems to work the best for me on my EVO 3D.

You don't need root to run Go Launcher, it does replace sense though. Just search the market for "Go Launcher" then open app drawer, press menu, then hide app. Long time user of Launcher Plus and am happy I made the switch.
Is there any way I can do this using Sense, without changing to another launcher?
Maybe you can try downloading Z4root and temporarily root your phone to use the other apps. Not sure if on reboot the apps will stay hidden or not though, but it might be worth a try because I think every other solution out there is going to require root.
There's an app by the same developer as App Lock II called Invisible Protector that looks like it may be what you're looking for. Doesn't say it needs root in the description, and has a free 3 day trial.
With 'Go Launcher' how do you unhide the app?

menu/preferences/general/hidden apps.
#Root-Hack\Mod*Always_
""Shooter on Deck""
Under 'General Settings' I see
- Visual Settings
- Screen Settings
- App Drawer Settings
- Effects Settings
- Gesture Settings
- Advanced Settings
but not hidden apps
Hello.
My problem is that I used ADW Launcher and now Im starting with Go Launcher
In ADW I could create app groups. That is useful for example for set one group with all apps and other group with the most frequent apps, so I avoided thereby apps that I dont use so much and I hide some apps from other people hehe
But now Go launcher has not got that feature. I only can hide apps but then I cant run them quickly, I have to unhide, run, hide again, everytime
Does exist any app that shows you all app you have installed and you can go and run whichever you want?
Thaaaaanks
Try Folder Organizer (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.abcOrganizer.lite), it's an excellent label-based app manager.
Yeaaah, just tried Apps organicer
(https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.code.appsorganizer&feature=more_from_developer), from the same dev, and works perfectly, that what I was looking for. Its even simplier than Folder organicer. Just select an app and it run it
So, problem fixed
Thanks so much mate
Hi everyone,
I install lenok2dory last day and I just love AW 2 now ! But the app drawer is difficult to open ( doing sh*t with my wrist ) and with Watch Maker I think that is possible to run a script who open the app drawer. But I don't know Lua script and it's why I asking you for know if it's possible to do that or no.
The only solution I found so far is:
- Install launcher for android wear (or wear mini launcher, probably also works with any other launcher)
- disable the gesture to open the launcher (not mandatory, but I found that most gestures of launchers are in the way of other gestures)
- use "tap action" to open the launcher (open application on wear: "launcher").

Is what i have done. And it works pretty good and yes, sorry for no reply because I didn't get into XDA from a while, sorry. But thanks you too !
Air trigger App Launcher
Air trigger is a useful tool for gamers. Yeah there are short squeeze and long squeeze gestures are available when using the phone normally, But asus limits it's potential to use it as gesture to open apps like music player, maps or others.
Asus restricts the air triggers to launch apps that are, "Only for preloaded apps and apps in games, social or communication category in Google Play"
And till now there is no workaround (that i know of) even with root
To launch all apps i created App Launcher which has package name of Opera browser (just to get detected by air trigger).
It will show all the installed apps and even system apps that you can choose from. It can launch any app and it won't interfere with recents apps. So there won't be any issue opening and closing the app.
Install Instructions:
1.Install App launcher
2. Go to system settings-Advanced- AirTriggers
3. Under short/long squeeze, Select App launcher in Launch app category.
4.Open the app and choose your favourite app and click launch
If it works, open & set the app again & choose save.
Now opening the app via Air trigger will launch the saved app every single time.
If you need to choose other app
Clear data of app launcher & set again.
Note : This app is built with opera browser package name. If you are using opera browser change the package of opera browser to other name before installing this app.
