hi all, i have a problem when i try to unlock the bootloader.
i connect my tab in fastboot mode, but when i enter 'fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version', the terminal display <waiting for device> and it apparently stops.
What can i do?
i have an unrooted 16GB wifi (SGP311) xperia tablet z with the last 4.2.2 update
Probably the fastboot drivers weren't properly installed. Try to install them properly (and reboot your PC afterwards) and try again.

from the unlocking guide by sony..
"On your computer, you will be asked for drivers. Point to the usb_driver folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android Boot loader Interface-file."
i connect the tablet in fastboot (blue led), but windows doesn't ask me for drivers. i also delete drivers and reinstall them on sdk

Try installing the drivers by the Flashtool tool. If you're on Windows 8, deactivate Driver Signature Check, install the drivers by their tool, then reboot...

Anyway, I have never installed a custom ROM with a device that has both internal and external SD cards, so I always recommend having two copies of the ROM you want, one on the internal, other in the external. Do the same with the latest Gapps.
Move them to the root of both memories. Then, boot into recovery (I think CWM is more stable), go to Install update.zip. Select "Choose from SD card, and then look for the ROM zip. Confirm you want to install. Wait until the process is complete. Do the same with the Gapps package.
Then, go back to the root menu of the recovery, and choose Factory Reset. Confirm and then reboot. Now you should have your ROM installed...

Well, this is the 'normal' method. But i saw in the cyanogenmod wiki page of xperia tablet z that they use 2 strings by terminal with the device in fastboot. I have tried to flash the omnirom by recovery but the installer said "this is not sgp311/pollux windy" but i'm pretty sure that my tab hasn't got data connecting. When i 've reboot, it displayed only the Sony logo (so i fixed it with flashtool)

Hi everyone guys,I'm from Dubai.United Arab Emirates. I'm in trouble.
Maybe i bricked my phone.
I Rooted it, installed TWRP, and then i updated it not with the TWRP.
Since then i have got a bootloop issue, stuck with the Honor logo.
I can access the BOOTLOADER and the stock recovery (i tried to wipe and reset the phone here, but it do all the things and don't solve the problem) and ERecovery (same here i've got an error)
Try to put an update firmware on the MicroSD and make it run but didn't do anything, what can i do
U sure its a bootloop? First boot after update can make about 30 minutes. Anyways Flash stock recovery and try the update with the SDcard.

Please tell me how to I can flash stock recovery.how can I update it..
So to clarify you flashed your stock recovery, put your extracted stock firmware on your external sd card under \dload. Then you entered recovery and installed the local update and it did not work?

I'm don't try this.
can u give me this stock recovery download link
What's the exact model ? KIW-L21C432 ?
You don't need the stock recovery, just plug the charger, then the phone will boot on erecovery (second/alternate recovery)
You need the full ROM though, not an update.
If it's a KIW-L21C432, here is the stock ROMs:
KIW-L21 B140
KIW-L21 B330
unzip the dload folder, put it on you sdcard, then bot with the three buttons pressed.

to piggy back on that he may need to extract his stock recovery from the update file, am I mistaken? Since the return to stock update to marshmallow guide does not have his stock recovery in OP.

- Make sure you have a stock recovery
- Unzip the downloaded file
- Remove your sdcard from your phone and plug it into your computer using a sdcard reader.
- Copy the dload folder with the UPDATE.APP file to your sdcard.
- Remove your sdcard properly from your computer and plug it back to your phone.
- make sure you have enough battery, so leave your phone connected to the main power supply.
- Hold Power On+ both Volume buttons at the same time : it could be tricky to pass this process, so you may have to repeat it many times.
- Once done, the update should start !
- Once you get a success message, wait long enough until the process complete.
- You could then search for newer updates.
- Finally, stop using Cyanogenmod if you're a noob.

Ok Sir
Hello guys,
At the moment I have a problem with my Huawei. So let me tell you how it all began.
Two weeks ago I was still on Android 5.xx and wanted to update my phone and there I already did something stupid. My Phone was rooted with the old "chinese" method and I started an OTA Update. Which failed and TWRP was randomly gone after that I was in a bootloop. So I restored my phone with a B330 Firmware which was placed on my SD Card. It worked after that and I could install the further updates (B380 atm). Now I wanted to root my phone again and install a custom rom because my 16gb Phone can only use 3.5 GB which are already 80% full.
My Problem now is that neither Hisuite or fastboot can detect the device when it is in fastboot mode. I also tried it on a second pc and my honor never gets recognized and therefore I can neither root my phone or install twrp. What I now tried is to install B330 again and see what happens if I enter fastboot from there, but the Recovery "App" seems to be stuck at 5% of the update process. At the moment I try to install the B130, but it also seems to be stuck at 5%.
Do you guys know something that I can do?
try to use the rollback file (B300) before you try to use other rom versions like B380 /B190 etc!
-> http://www.hihonor.com/de/support/software-list/index.html
BTW: I think, you will have a problem because you have not rooted your system "systemless"!
Your system partition was changed during rooting. The update check the system checksum and this procedure seems to fail at your device.
Maybe the multitool could be a help.
The Rollback is also stuck at 5%.
I mean I got it to recover the phone with the recovery mode. Just now after the OTA Updates it seems like it isn't possible.
I can try the multitool it is just super slow with all it's updating.
Edit: Also If I try to use the normal eRecovery i get "Getting package info failed" . Got it now several times
Edit2: No Idea how the Tool should help. It always requires fastboot. Seems like I ****ed up big time.
Edit3: My honor is recognized as Fastboot 2.0 is that correct?

The other guy said your syatem was modified. So I thought your root access was not syatemless. Sytemless root is a tyoe of root method that doesn't modify the system partition so you will still receive OTA updates. If you really can't do OTA, just download your desired version of firmware amd flash it it fastboot. Use Huawei Update Extract Tool to get the images. system.img, boot.img and recovery.img.

So after a while of tinkering with my Honor 9 trying to flash Supersu via TWRP everything got messed up.
Tried doing a clean install, and that made everything worse.
So now i am stuck with no TWRP Recovery and cannot load the Fastboot. Only option available now is Huawei eRecovery through wifi that obviously doesnt work, and forced recovery (vol+ and vol- and powerbutton) which is also not working trying to flash with stockrom.
So what can i do now? am i missing something?

completely power off phone, then hold vol-down and plug in USB cable... this should boot you into fastboot, try and flash TWRP from there, although, if you dont have the required files on your device (or any way to get them onto it) you are not in a good situation.
something similar happened to me the other day, and this got me into fastboot where i could flash a system.img (or use HWOTA or whatever it is), though i had TWRP installed, but no OS.

There's a lot of options on this forum if you have fastboot access and TWRP. So you should be able to get back to where you were before tinkering.
I recommend an external SD card reader to get necessary files on a SD card.

but using a tempfile from a failed transfer the install at least starts, and ofcourse fails after a while since its incomplete. But how can i transfer the UPDATE.APP file to the card?

You should try the DLOAD method, but you must know the cust (c432, c636, etc.) too, not only the model (in your case BLA-L29).

Good, I'm downloading BLA-L29 8.0.0.129(C185) update.zip file, I'll extract it and copy the UPDATE.APP file to a folder named dload in the root of a memory stick, plug it in a USB Type C to USB Type A
then turning on the phone by pressing volume up + volume down + power button until Huawei logo appears.

Better to format the usb storage as exFAT

maybe worth mentioning, I did (a year ago) install TWRP then I uninstalled it, does this have to do with anything?

Try this :
1) Download BLA-L29 C185 8.0.0.129 firmware from Firmware Finder
2)Extract system, kernel and recovery_ramdisk from update.app
3)Flash the extracted images with fastboot
4) Try again with the DLOAD method
P. S. You could also try to do a Factory Reset before step 4.
Edit: Windows 10 might require a fix for the drivers, iirc. Otherwise you could try a Linux Live setup (you can find one on XDA, especially designed for ADB and Fastboot use).

I have two problems now :/
Extracting system.img takes for ever, as I'm writing now, it's still extracting, even tho the bar is full.
the second problem is, I couldn't find "recovery_ramdisk"
there is "RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img" and there is "RAMDISK.img"
which one is it?

So I flashed 4 files:
fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img
fastboot flash ramdisk RAMDISK.img
fastboot flash kernel KERNEL.img
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img
using the Live Linux you mentioned.
Now I'll go back to the dload and see if it works
