My daughters tablet is unable to delete any apps installed and therefore no storage to add anything new, and even though the tablet has SD card support, it will allow me to save anything to OR transfer any apps on the tablet storage to the SD card. If anyone has a way to root this tablet I would be very grateful, haven't found a guide for it anywhere yet and hoping someone here had luck with it or knows of a guide to root and available roms

I bought my lg optimus l9 about a month ago and due to only 2.3gb of internal memory I can not move apps and games from phone memory to micro SD. Because of that my usage on this phone is limited.
I have tried to root it and have followed many online guides and videos but I just cant get it done.
My phone is kernel 3.0.21 and software version is P76010h-EUR-XX.
I would be so thankful to anyone who could lead me to the right direction and could help me get this phone rooted and apps moved to micro SD.
I know I can move them manually when the phone is connected with USB to PC, but isnt there a way I could move them in my phone, like my previous x10 mini had the Move to SD Card chance enabled, but in my new phone there is no such button or whatever.
I have also tried apps such as Link2SD but it doesent work, I believe that the device needs to be rooted and I cant get it done.
I have installed PC suite to my PC and followed root guides, I run the Bat file, do everything correctly, the phone restarts but there is no super user and also Root Checker app shows that my device is not rooted.
I feel so dissapointed in this phone beacause I can only keep limited apps and games on the phone due to low memory capacity.
If I could get this phone rooted and then mayby the Link2SD will help me get my apps and games moved to SD card, I would be so happy.
So please, if there is anyone who could help me, I would really need it beacause I am helpless at the moment and dont know what to do anymore.
I saw a thread on this last week, before I'd rooted the tablet, and can't find it any more. Please feel free to point me if my question's already been answered!
I have an A101It, so gen 8. I've just rooted it with the '-rw' method on here. Thing is, I can still only use the SD card for file storage - can't even move apps onto it - and would really like to know how to get the system using it as extra 'internal' memory. I might possibly be looking to use it as a swap file, I'm not clear on the terminology. At the very least I should be able to install apps to it, shouldn't I?
Can you do this with the root method I've used, or should I undo that and use uruk droid instead? Has anybody posted working instructions on getting some performance advantage from an SD card? (Or shall I just fill it up with 32gb of pointless home videos that nobody will watch?)
Not sure if i can help but ill try it anyways , did u try the ''app 2 sd'' apps?
I used them when my internal storage was full so i could move my apps to my SD card so i had enough space again.

Right I'm new to android and am having a problem I just picked up a doogee 120 handset for very cheap so thought I'd give it a go the only issue I could see was it came with virtually no internal storage not a problem I'll just put a memory card in and use that, oh how wrong was i . not ever using android before I wasn't aware of the issue of apps going on the memory card after reading many threads I'm now confused people saying it can be done others saying it can but you must Root so can someone please give a definitive answer can I store my apps on my SD card. I read you can change the default install directory so they can be installed directly, also I read you can get apps to move them some of which you need to be rooted to use others rooting is not needed and someone else said you can partially move apps using folder mounting, so can someone please help as I'm stuck for how to try this, I should mention I'm in jellybean 4.2.2 and I have no problem in rooting my phone but again not sure how to I have jailbroken a 3gs and iPad 2 so rooting is fine if someone can point me to a guide. hi all so im hoping you can help me unlock this tablet. reason im looking to root is because i want the ext sd card to be viewed as the sd card, and i cannot change anything in this tablet until it is rooted. i have tried a few things but nothing successful. i used root explorer to view the file i need but when saving file i cant because its not rooted/write protected. anyone have any ideas?

I have some problems with my new cheap-o tablet I got from Walmart.
Maybe someone can help me out (I know very little about computers and such)
1. The tablet is supposed to have 8GB memory, but when I am installing apps, I am running out of it, I dont understand? is the internal memory that low? (I have only 345mb left now) and I cant move anything to the SD or to the 8GB that the tablet has.
2. I had rooted my phone in the past (Samsung) with no problems. I am trying to root my tablet to be able to free some internal memory and be able to install apps in the SD card... but it seems I cant find a suitable root tool to do this. Could you recommend me what to do?
Other than that, I added a keyboard to this tablet ($24.99 at Staples) and it works pretty well !For being a cheap tablet I dont have complains, but I would like to be able to free the memory to add some more apps.
