Hello guys I've got an LG G4 stylus (h540f / Mtk6592) which i was stuck on a bootloop and flashed android 5.1.1 kdz (stock) then upgraded to 6.0.1 kdz (stock) and now want to unlock the bootloader but nothing works:
{
- ADB reboot oem-unlock (doesn't work and it prompt me to press vol up to unlock but nothing)
- fastboot oem unlock / fastboot oem-unlock (doesn't work either)
- SP flash tool (doesn't work well either, guides are missing)
- some scams found on Google (didn't try any to avoid bricking)
}
LG flash tool 2014 was working when flashing the both stock ROMs but after 6.0.1 (now) it won't downgrade to 5.1.1
ADB and Fastboot are working, drivers are set device is recognized by adb and fastboot
Please help me to unlock the bootloader, as it seems that the phone isn't very popular as the standard G4 so many guides are missing.

Download and flash 20a eu open via offline flash method then wait for 1 hour with sim inside
Then install fastboot drivers on your pc the procedure bit complicated.
Search xda u'll find the procedure to install ti omap fastboot drivers for Optimus L9.
Then follow the unlocking procedure it would work
Hi.
Just got a new T-Mobile LG V10 with Android v6.0 Marshmallow, successfully unlocked the bootloader (see below for verification data)...but, can't get TWRP recovery image to flash.
First, I performed the following steps on a WIN10 laptop to unlock the bootloader :
1) Setup ADB and Fastboot (I used Minimal ADB & Fastboot)
2) Enabled Developer options on LG V10
3) Enabled OEM unlock and USB debugging on LG V10
4) Connected V10 to PC and issued the following command to boot into bootloader mode:
adb reboot bootloader
5) Once in bootloader mode, I issued the following command to unlock bootloader on LG V10:
fastboot oem unlock
6) Once bootloader was unlocked, I rebooted the bootloader mode with the following command:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
I then booted out of fastboot, disconnected my phone from the laptop, downloaded TWRP recovery twrp-2.8.7.1-h901.img into the same folder as adb/fastboot, and did the following steps:
1) I opened a CMD window in that same folder
2) I connected the LG V10 to the PC via USB, and typed the following into the command window into bootloader/fastboot mode:
adb reboot bootloader
3) Once it booted into bootloader mode, I issued the following command to flash the TWRP recovery .img file:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.1-h901.img
The CMD window gave the following data:
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 1.218s]
writing 'recovery'
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 1.237s
Just to check that adb/fastboot was seeing my phone...and, that it was actually unlocked, I then typed in:
fastboot oem unlock
and got the following reply:
(bootloader) Device already : unlocked!
I then typed in: fastboot devices
and got the following reply:
b5e5400a fastboot
Don't want to mess any more with this, until I can get some guidance from the forum. Better to wait, than to brick my new phone!
Thanks in advance for whatever help you can offer.

I had the same issue. The problem is that your phone had MM factory-pre-installed. LG blocked most of the fastboot commands on the MM boot loader. So no TWRP for you until a bypass hack is discovered.
You can try going into one of your carrier's physical stores and doing a straight exchange for an LG v10 running Lollipop. Just tell them that it auto-upgraded to MM and started crashing. They may or may not help you out. Then it will be mostly hackable again. I did this recently after upgrading my phone to MM and found out that I couldn't root or install custom ROMs/custom recoveries.
Bottom line is don't upgrade to MM or get a v10 with MM unless you're prepared to wait awhile on the stock ROM until viable hacks are released.
Who is your carrier?
Hi
I've had some hard time trying to unlock my GT-I9060I's bootloader (so I can install unsigned custom ROMs) but I didn't succeed.
Thins I've tried so far:
Installed Android SDK
Installed ADB and Fastboot drivers
Changed the android driver to Android Bootloader Interface
The problem seems to either be my computer not recognizing the phone in fastboot mode or simply my phone not booting in fastboot mode (even though
HTML:
adb reboot bootloader
rebooted my phone)
How can I unlock my bootloader?
Hi guys ,
So recently my device [Moto G5 Plus] suddenly went into a bootloop one fine day . Ever since then I've tried flashing new firmware using adb and fastboot . But then i realized that my bootloader was locked . So is there a way to unlock the bootloader from fastboot and then flash the new firmware ? Please help me guys :crying:
Thank You
When in fastboot try: "fastboot oem unlock"
It doesn't work on all phones and will cause a factory reset.
Good luck
hi..
Greetings to every Android Magicians out there...!
Device:- MiA1 (Never rooted)
1.USB debugging was enabled and OEM is not enabled.
2.Hence Boot loader is Locked.
3. Adb drivers installed in my laptop.
4.Windows driver signature are disabled.
5. Xaiomi flash tool and drivers installed.
6. Qualcom HS-USB Diagnostics 900E installed.
7. Can be enter in fastboot mode and edl mode as well.
The problem:- My MiA1 was never rooted (USB debugging was enabled and OEM is not enabled.).
All apps are force stopped suddenly while using the phone so tried to reboot my devices,
and there it begins.. it stuck at boot logo.
Things i have tried:
1. Fastboot Mode:
Since the boot loader is locked i cant flash Any ROM through fastboot so i tried to enter in EDL mode through CMD.,But failed.
so i just open the back panel & however entered in EDL mode by Testpoint.
(and i've tried in fastboot through cmd { fastbooot oem unlock } it says successful but when i check the status through
{fastboot oem devices-info} but the bootloader is still locked).
2. Test Point Method:
I tried to flash MiA1 official global version ROM's (7,8,9 as well) through Xaiomi Flash tool(2015,2016,2017 versions) by test point Methods.
i have encountered the problems like AKC don't match and Cant receive Hello packets.
However i have got solved this Prolems by using Beta version of Xaiomi Flash tool.
3. When i flash (tissot_images_7.8.23_20170823.0000.00_7.1_61cf97d794) flashing was successful but devices still stuck at
Androidone logo.
Tried to flash other versions of ROM (tissot_images_V10.0.4.0.PDHMIXM_9.0) flashing was successful but devices still stuck at
Androidone logo.
By the way i have tried it using different type C cables and different ports (COM5, COM20,COM40 etc) and and different laptop as well but No luck.
i hope you guys do some Magic and help me out.
