how to switch to band 40 on snapdragon variant ?

OK 700 Mhz band is listed but not band 12 on 700 mhz.
However we have seen 1700 WCDMA ( 3G H H+) show up in the service menu even though not listed in Specs.
So wondering IF the Band 12 is available on the listed 700 Band
OR if one that can be enabled by some of you clever Devs here ?

I'm using it right now in Norway with Telenor. According to their website they are using the 2600mhz band.. Works good here!
Are you sure that you have tge european model? According to the IMEI read-out on my Huawei Honor 7 (PLK-L01):
Frequency bands : 2 SIM, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, GSM 900, GSM850 (GSM800), LTE FDD BAND 1, LTE FDD BAND 20, LTE FDD BAND 3, LTE FDD BAND 7, LTE FDD BAND 8, WCDMA FDD Band I, WCDMA FDD Band II, WCDMA FDD Band VIII
List of 4g supported bands for EU models are :
LTE FDD Band 1: 1920–1980 MHz (UL), 2110–2170 MHz (DL)

LTE FDD Band 7: 2500–2570 MHz (UL), 2620–2690 MHz (DL)
LTE FDD Band 8: 880–915 MHz (UL), 925–960 MHz (DL)

Any scope to enable 4G Band 1 and Band 41 in Redmi Note 4?
In Pune, Maharashtra Vodafone has launched 4G in Band 1 as well as Band 41 and both of these are not supported by Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon version.
Is there any means that additional 4G bands like Band 1 and Band 41 be enabled or only option is to sell the rubbish phone and go for any other compatible handset?

It's not possible to unlock LTE bands.
Mate 10 Pro - how to lock LTE bands (1800, 2100, 2600 etc.).
I know the app Network signal guru can do this on Qualcomm's SoCs but the Mate 10 is based on HiSilicon Kirin 970...
Can someone tell me a method how to force one of the cellular network bands?
