Help About Http Injector App - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone!
im just new here.
I would like to ask for your help about an app called Http Injector. we use this in our country (Philippines)
to access internet via vpn for free.
to use this app, you have to register to sites that offers free ssh acount such as createssh.com, then create a payload (which has to be a freesite from our isp) and a remote proxy. then we you are connected, you can create a config file ( with an extention ".ehi") and share it to others.
the problem is, some .ehi files that is being shared are locked to prevent others to copy their config.
I hope you can help me sniff through these locked .ehi files guys...
thanks and more power.

Don't know if you still going to need this.
Install Xposed, go to Framework => Install/Update => Restart
Install Ehiopener. Open Xposed, go to modules if you already installed Ehiopener you'll see it there click it and activate than restart.
Congratz', you can sniff EHI now it wiill not help with root protected ehi.

Certificate in PocketPC 2003

Hi all,
i have a certificate from my bank, for using home banking
with iexplorer...
i so in PocketPC 2003 that can be instaled certificates...
the problem is that if i put my certificate (*.p12 )
in XDA i can't open it...
Enybodi now how can i install this certificate please ???
Thanks in advance
Denis
Hi! Has anyone came back with an answer to your question? I have a similar problem. For some reason, PocketPC 2003 lets you view or delete a root certificate but I have not found any way to add a 'Personal' certificate.
Any help out there?
there is a utility on microsoft website which lets add root certificates to pocketpc
u can get it http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;322956
Thanks, kalex. Yes, I found that one but I need somehow to add a 'Personal' certificate. Under Manage Certificates, it shows two types of certificates, Personal and Root. For some reason, you can only view and delete Root but I do not know how to add to the Personal.
Any ideas?
not sure. i only added root one
If there is olso the personal cert. well must be some procedure to add it...
We must find how to do it...
...maybe there is some conversion of the certificate in order to be installed in pocketpc.
I must use it for homebanking... please somebody explain us how we can register it.
Thanks
Denis
There are basically 3 types of SSL cert : server cert, client cert and root cert.
Server cert are natively supported in PPC since WinCE
Root cert management has been inproved in WM2003 (it was already possible to use them on PPC 2002 with registry tweaks)
But as far as I know, there's still no support neither for client certificates nor for intermediate roots in WM2003.
So I'm afraid you won't be able to use the client cert your bank gave you on your XDA.
Groan!
Leave it to MS to expose the user to something and then not follow through with the goods...
I am going to ask them directly and see what they say!
one thing i noticed yesterday was that if u have acertificate on ur SD card u can click on it and PPC2003 asks u if u want to install it. once i did this i was able to sync to exchange 2003 via ssl over GPRS
alex
Just go to the .cer file on your PPC and click on it. It'll ask if you want to install it.
Thanks for all the advise. Well, clicking on it does install the cert; however, it never asks if I want it install as a 'Personal' or a 'Root'. Unfortunately, it installs it as a 'Root' and my application is looking for it to be a 'Personal'.
Any other suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks! 8)
it needs to be exported as personal. u specify personal or root during export.
alex
Thanks! I will try that tomorrow at work.... :?
I have do have the same problem. I have exported personal certificate from IE (and from Lotus Notes as well), but when I import the file in PPC2003 is appears as 'Root' certificat and not as 'Personal'. (I need a 'Personal' certificate for VPN authentication).
Has anyone succeeded with this? :?:
Hi!
Still no resolution. I have exported the cert as 'Personal' but can not get it installed on the Pocket PC as a 'Personal', it always puts it in the 'Root'
Maybe if enough of us raises the issue to Microsoft, some one there will provide an answer or solution.
Thanks!
Download the .cab from my ftp.
Place the file on your PPC and execute it (PPC installer file).
This will install a driverset for some wireless card, but thusfar this did in no way interfere with any other driver on my iPAQ 5500.
Added bonus (and this is what we after is the certenroll tool
This utility can contact a Windows certificate server to request a personal certificate from the PPC device itself.
ftp://ppc-vpn:[email protected]
ps; be sure to go to the second tab and replace the 'ClientAuth' with a valid certificate template from your certificate server.

Broadcomm BT stack can't send a file...

I've just tried this Bluetooth stack on my Himalaya, everything's working fine except 1 thing. When I want to send any file via BT,normally I turn on the BT module and in a basic FileExplorer I click on the BeamFile... item in context menu. With default stack it will find a destination device and tapping on that will create a connection. This is the problem with Broadcomm..It can't find another devices, that I can send the file to. Anyone know why? Or is it another way to send any file via BT with Broadcomm? Thanks for your suggestion.
Where do have download the Broadcom-Bluetooth-Stack??? I'm not very lucky with the original Bluetooth-Stack on my MDAII...
Thanks
...
I've downloaded this file: XdA2JoJo.v3.2zt.zip from FTP.
Especially these 2 files need to be installed:
-Broadcom1.0.0Build3500.cab and
-StackSwitcher02.cab
That's inside of this archive. You need to switch the active stack after installation in order to use it(MS/Broadcom).
Yes and I had a 2nd problem with this stack...No SSA service was available(for connect via BT modem). Therefore I am still on the default stack(which is very poor, but all is working, that I need).
Thanks, but sorry, i can't find "FTP", the links are'nt working...
I test ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/ but i cannot access them, permission denied...
...
Try to use any FTP client such as TotalCommander,Mozilla etc. Server is http://ftp.xda-developers.com name and password is:xda.
Sorry, sorry, searching a lot of time i had find the files on ftp, but i miss a little instruction manual for the installation, can you give me any help for this? Thanks!!
...
Okay. I will post these files here, but later, coz I am on-the-go at this moment. I have it in my notebook at home...
Thank you very match!

Here is it:
Where??
Scuse, before logging in, i haven't found the files...
Instructions?? Nothing?? Try and error?
Thanks!!
can this patch work at MDAII?

PPPoE - translating japanese app to english :-0 success !!!

Hi probably not many will take advantage of this app, but it is definitely adding some functionality to WM which normally this system is lacking. Mods please conciser that this topic is not about networking using this program but translating the program (hacking exe file) so in my opinion it should be in this section.
What is it for? PPPoE is an application to connect to wifi network with Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet authentication. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pppoe
There is no other application like that for Windows Mobile, at least I could not find it The only one that exists is made by NTT DOCOMO in Japan and is in Japanese
http://flets.com/spot/pdasetup_download.html
Since I'm not a programmer and I simply cannot create application like that I decided to try to translate it to English with help from online Japanese to English translator and BeeGee_Tokyo who helped me by translating parts where online translation failed THANK YOU!
How to start:
Install PPPoE.cab file on your device, it will create folder inside program files, name of the folder is in Japanese and if you are using wwe version you will see squares, you can safely rename this folder to PPPoE or whatever you want, the same with original exe file (you can delete it if you want). Please put my modified exe inside this folder (it is in PPPoE.zip file). I'm testing this program on my Topaz with WM6.1 TESS 2.2.1 but program might be device and system specific so it might not work on your device at all. You can also change .lnk file inside \windows\start menu\programs to correspond exe file name change.
Things left to do:
- translate last missing bits if possible,
- find a way to create a cab file with embedded translated exe, till now MSCEinf and WinCECabManager are unable to help me with that anyone can help?
- test the program in real life environment PPPoE authentication over wifi (I don't have access to such network at the moment) and on what devices it works.
UPDATE - Probably final translation, corrected some minor mistakes, still I can't find a way to translate one error page and about page but program is fully functional now, have fun.
Translation
I am sure this is not perfect, but it should be good enough to understand the program.
Most of the translation is done by Google I just corrected grammar a little bit and translated Katakana words, where Google usually fails.
Thank you BeeGee I corrected most of the problem I had with online translation thanks to you so program is ready, I will apply some minor changes and upload final version soon.
It doesn't work on my i780 even if i rename it like the japanese one (wich works)
I think it is some kind of problem with certificates or security policies or signing of the program, I'll investigate this and will let you know.

I have htc touch pro with original Rom 5.05.408.1 ITA and when I launch your translated program, Windows return a certificate error!
mmmh I have question for you..
Can you create a PDF with screenShot in English and japanese for each window, so we can use the japanese version?
thank you very much!
bye!
Any news? At least, can you post screenshot of yours so we can use the japanese one?

Edit: and here's the file in the 2nd link you provided

Re-edit:
I installed the cab in the 2nd link, i succesfully (erm..) configured the registry and the pppoe.txt but when i try to start the connection i get a "Error from RasDial" error...
I succeded in getting your exe working, you only need to remove the signature. I used this tool http://rapidshare.com/files/300851964/1206597606_72079e82.zip
please post a working file here.... thanx in advance

Hi all.
I can't get it to work with my mobile cel. The program works, it connects successfully, but i can't use any browser. The "PPPoE adapter" it's "not connected" and without any IP assigned....
any help? Does this program works for you?
TIA
Buddies, i have tried and connects succesfully but still i cant surf the internet here is what i have done previously on my HTC S620:
1>Installed original cab file
2>Extracted Translated file on SD card
3>Then I edited the registery settings
3.1>Go to HKLEM>>Comm>>NTTPPPoE>>PDAConTool>>SSIDList
3.2>Create a Key Folder Name "Item02"
3.3>Create "DWord" Value Name It As "Spot" And Change The Value to "3"
3.4>Create "String" Value Name It As "SSID" And Change Its Value To Your Current Router "SSID"
4>Now Change The AP Connection Settings In PPPoE Application To Your Router "SSID" Created. (See The Pic Below)
5>These Steps are Neccesary Becoz This Application only allows users to connect only NTT-West And Fletspot Users. If You Change Your Router "SSID"
To "Fletspot" Or "NTT-West" It Will Not Work Becoz If You See Its Registry Settings It Contains "Encryption Mode" And "Encryption Key" Strings Too Which We Donot Know.
6>Finally, It Connects Me Successfully But Still It Cant Find The Way To Surf Net!

Hi I was not looking at this tread for a while, all registry changes are completly unnecessary if program is working. Of course you need to setup new connection with your own network instead of Fletspot or NTT-West. How to do it? Just click menu/new network and that is it, you can add your own network but to do it of course you need to know login and password, that's how PPPoE works, if you don't know it than this program will not help you in any way to create connection.

Can you access the same sites via wifi? Have you installed any kind of ad blocker programs or modified the hosts file?
I have addfree installed by a friend at work (old workplace...) I could not find the hhosts file on my service though (it is rooted) is there a way to reset it?

There should be an option in the ad free app to restore the hosts files. If not, then use a root explorer and browse to /system/etc and delete the hosts file and reboot. Should be back up after that.

Howto Push WiFi configuration file to Android ?

Hi All,
I'm having a little trouble finding out how to do this.
Let me first explain what i want todo :
anyone visiting home just needs to go to a website and recieve a wifi config in order to connect to the visitors-wifi.
Setup an domain > does mobile device detection > based on that will either try to push a Iphone .mobileconfig or and android config file.
domain is ready , mobile detection somewhat ready , iphone config confirmed working.
I read something of Microsoft Intune capable of pushing xml config to android devices joined to the network.
I just want a file they can download & requests then if they want to install it , like on Iphone.
Thanks for reading!
Kind regards,
Xtremegamer
