I have a problem with my SM-G110B. It doesn't have that USB Options and Windows aren't recognizing it! :crying:
Appears the "Unknown Device" baloon, and I must use Odin to unbrick and flash a custom rom in this smartphone.
Have any of you guys had the same problem with a Samsung smartphone or other brand, or it's just me and my bad luck?
Try searching For the Samsung drivers and install it,i've had the same problem with that same phone. This phone in specific is s real Prick XD and the only kitkat phone that got updated until february 2016,Thats incredible for such a low end phone.

What custom rom?,i don't remember the sm-g110b having custom roms.

The system isn't same as galaxy s 2... both are different..

Turn USB Debugging OFF
Click Root
When it says: Waiting for Device, Turn USB Debugging ON
if the app gets stuck on "Rooting device... -Step #6"., just unplug the USB cable and quickly plug it back in the device to "kick" it along.
In this phone they dont have place name for manufacture. so just edit the System/build.prob file using FS Explorer as Samsung & Model Number: GT-I9100

Hello! I have the same HDC A9100 device, but this method does not work on mine.
I use a Windows7 pc, with last 2.1.1 SuperOneClick, I followed the method described checking and unchecking the USB debug but nothing.
After few seconds SuperOneClick says "program is not responding".
Could be I do not have the right driver for the device?
Where have you taken yours?

What do you mean they don't work? Do you have a custom kernel or rom installed?

Work fine SuperOneclick 2.2 to root my HDC a9100 (clone galaxy s2) but remember if you use Win7 64bit (like me) execute the exe like administrator and remember to remove the microSD from phone, cause Superuser do not finish to root.

ok so im not a noob to rooting or anything but ive tried countless time to root my Evo 3d. I have the hboot 1.5 and i followed every step and have read tons of forums. The problem i'm having is im stuck in cmd after sending unlocktoken. Ive used the ruu tool and im still stuck. Any help would be great

I also have the HDC A9100 device, and I've trouble of rooting it (I'm using the final 2.2 version and have all the prerequisites installed, run as admin on my win 7 x64).
Can you provide me with a little more detailed information how you succeeded rooting this device? Because I'm stuck at the second step (starting ADB server.)
Do I need to complete remove the SD card from the phone, or UnMount would be sufficient? Do I need to put the phone in a recovery mode (how it's done, if it is possible at all?)?

I recently bought an hdc a9100 and I´m very happy with the acquisition. I’ve already root de device (Superoneclick method) and I want continuing doing some improvements and to do so, I hope exchange some impressions with a9100 owners in a prolific way for all. I think we are looking for the same goal.
Do you known how we have access to DOWNLOAD MODE? I’ve already tried all the buttons combinations + usb pluggins and by terminal emulator procedure, but nothing. I was trying to use ODIN, but without access to DOWNLOAD MODE, showed to be impossible. I’m triyng to use ODIN in order to solve the installation of CUSTOM ROM’S and updates; following error displayed:
“failed to verify whole-file signature,
signature verification failed
installation aborted.”

I'd like to start porting a ICS rom from a Motorola Pro ( aka Droid Pro ) to the Motorola Pro Plus ( aka MB623 ).
The problem is, i'm kinda newb at this, i can handle myself around ubuntu, and i know some C++, but i can't say i'm a specialist
My following question is this: Is this forum ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1661770 <- good for a tutorial on porting, or do i need to search for another one?
Or, could someone point me to a porting tutorial? ( I'm thinking that since the Pro Plus is the Pro's predecessor, it might be close enough so that the porting would not be so hard )

I would love to see the JB in my motorola pro plus. It is the best candybar format phone i've ever seen, excellent dpi.

I find it so weird this phone went under the radar i just purchased it to use temp until the sgs4 drops and im surprised how nice it is the screen was beautiful but i just bricked it the other day trying to update the software i deleted the bootloader by a mistake and i searching for a fix and a rom like ICS atleast for it with no luck

I have the programing Cord doesnt that suppose to bypass that? doesnt matter anyways i deleted my bootloader by mistake and now the phone wont come on! I used it for like 4 hours before i did that stupidness lol

It's MTK MT6589T device, and I've tried most of root tools with the latest version,but it's hard to be rooted,can any one help to root this device? thanks!

and i have failed every time ,but i think the problem lies in some kind of flaw in storage configuration of device.

It's simply not that easy because the device is locked and unlocking isn't possible yet. The only way to overwrite the rom is through a flaw in one of the rom version. Please provide your ROM version, and provide the error you are receiving and we can see whether we can help you...

It won't boot at all
NO, There is still a shred of hope. Type in, Snapdragon Qualcomm hard brick solution into Google. Try, EVERYTHING.
And just in the rare case that you havn't tried everything, try doing this
1.) Remove battery
2.) Wait 5 seconds
3.) Reinsert battery
4.) Hold the volume up button
5.) Plug in your usb cable, while STILL holding the volume up button. If nothing happens, well **** this is out of my expertise.

Check out: Rootjunky.com or look it up on youtube. It really helped. But a lot of work, if you new. ( i think)
It says g4, but one of the video says v10 and g4. for unbricking.
I think its just bricked.
Had the same problem for another phone.
Or it might be hardware problem. Cuz there was complaints about that.

Hello all. I tried with no luck to root my Vernee V2 Pro tonight. I was able to flash and boot into TWRP but afterward the unit would not boot into the normal ROM. I simply received the boot screen with the progress bar endlessly ticking. After some research I found something suggesting to wipe the caches through TWRP and this allowed me to boot into normal mode. The recovery reverted to stock after this, however. I tried again with the same result.
Can anyone with experience with this unit provide me with any direction? Why would the device fail to load after flashing TWRP if no new ROM was loaded? Should clearing the cache with TWRP also remove TWRP? Furthermore, how can I create and/or obtain a correct scatter file? This unit is running a Mediatek 6763V and the 67XX chipsets are not supported by the MTK Droid Tools utility.
I'm not even trying to load a custom ROM. I simply want to root so I can take advantage of some XPosed modules - specifically to be able to reassign the function of this stupid dedicated screenshot key.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tryed it again today .... Flashing TWRP with adb is not a problem.
But i run into the same problems like kdake. TWRP wont stay permanent, and also rooting isnt possible cause of some errors. I gonne write them down later.
Any Ideashow to get it done? Seems like all th guides in the web are theoretical or are based on an older firmware?
