Can i put an i9505 motherboard into an i545 s4 verizon?? Is it compatible..?
Theoretically it should work but the radios are different so it will probably fail.

No, phone don't boot without radios, but you can try to jtag it yourself. There are online guides IIRC. Always worth trying I guess.
um its all the same pcb
there is no separate radio board its all the same pcb
but no it won't work the frame is differed;t and the home button/flex cable is different
the screens are identical how ever so you can just swap the i545 screen in

Well have you tried different modems as well as the correct APN settings for those carriers?
I do not know how this "repair shop" gets their hand on the logic board to begin with.
I had been looking for a logic board, but NO ONE has it. Not even the supplier of Samsung repair parts. It is not for sale.
So, it sounds like they may be trying to trick you and charge you a big bill to "fix" it, when the solution is most likely as simple as flashing a different modem.

Yes Sir but let me try it again so if the APN is incorrect this matter on signal and calls? i mean with my skyrocket i never put the APN phone automatically loads (Tmo apn not simple mobile) and works better than the simple mobile itself

My phone had some water damage and i would like to change motherboard because fixing at shop would cost me 230€.
I watched some phones at ebay and all were verizon models.
My question is that does verizon phones have sim lock and does it work at finland??
Get Unlocked phones.

You can go for unlocked phones then. You can get XT910s for just 215$ in ebay.com.
i am not buying phone that is fully working i just want phone with working motherboard so i can change it to mine
Verizon phones are GSM capable for global networks, but not domestic. I think with the proper international firmware, you should be fine. It's got the hardware, but the Verizon software locks out the other domestic networks.

So if i buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Motherb...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item3385810018 and install new software i should be fine??
I believe that will do just fine. It's already unlocked, and the description suggests it would work on domestic GSM as well (though I know you're not in the US). That said, it's only 35 USD! Give it a go. You can always turn around a sell it to someone else. As long as you have Finnish firmware and the applicable kernel, I would say your set.
I currently have a VERIZON Galaxy note 3 that has a bad motherboard - I am being given a SPRINT Galaxy note 3 that has a busted screen / Digitizer.. but has a good motherboard.
I want to put the Sprint motherboard in my Verizon note 3 and use it on Verizon 4G LTE. I've been told the bootloader is unlocked, but that the sim is locked by Sprint and can't be used on Verizon or any other carrier, let alone 4G LTE.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? I want to use Alliance ROM (Verizon) and keep / use my 4G LTE. I don't care about any of the Verizon or sprint apps. I usually delete those.

Go ahead and give it a shot. Both phones are jacked from what you say so it won't hurt anything and will give you some knowledge on swapping internals out on the phones themselves.
Good luck and keep me updated on how it goes. Thanks.

So will Verizon SIM work in it, or will it not without changing ROMs or whatever

Well I changed the board out, and into my Verizon phone... It did work, but my SIM dint it says invalid SIM. I've tried changing the settings to cdma or gsm or LTE with no luck
Yep sprint mother board. There's a thread about flashing a Verizon rom on to a sprint note 3. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2942452

It's my understanding that even flashing a Verizon ROM on it won't let it work on Verizon.
allow me to explain my situation. when i first got this phone, i had LTE throughout my area. i installed a rom of stang5litre edition which ended up frying my motherboard but i believe it was from flashing it incorrectly and trying to flash the OC1 kernel when i was running OH7 which is OF1 on postpaid. so instead of replacing the fried emmc chip and getting the equipment to do it all, i bought a clean esn motherboard that was taken out of a regular i545 an not a i545pp. it works perfectly with calls, texts and 3G but not LTE. i called customer service many times, tried factory reset, bought a new sim card cause they thought it was bad (which i put in my friends s4 and had LTE instantly so i know the new sim card isnt the issue) it is set on global in settings and running OH7 stock 5.0.1 latest. i cant figure out why everything else works but no LTE. by the sounds of things, im not gonna be able to get a replacement cause verizon says its samsung that does the warranty replacement then samsung turns and says its verizon's fault with the signal and that they replace it. so this is left in my own hands it seems. can anyone help me out? maybe wrong prl or something? any help is very much appreciated....
Anyone with input or suggestions please? ??
I was using my s6 edge on ST when I had to replace the digitizer. The phone sat for about a year when I tired replacing the digitizer. My first problem I ran into was a bad battery. After I replaced that and a warped bezel (it overheated once when I tried wireless charging it with a case with metal hidden in the back) it now hangs on the att screen. I can get into recovery and download mode, I tried factory reset and flashing back to stock with no success... when I first got the phone I rooted it right away so I'm still g925aucu1aoce and would like to keep it that way. Idk if I need to update my firmware or possibly replace the motherboard?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. thank you!

I forgot to say it doesn't boot into safe mode and that I also tried calling at&t, they told me I should try putting in an at&t sim card in it. They think that will fix it... I think that makes no sense since these phones can boot without a sim card inserted... they mentioned maybe it needs a new motherboard then told me to try an at&t sim (which I don't have) I'm hesitant to dump more money into it.. the phone is from an old contract with a large balance due so idk..
Thanks for the help guys... replaced the motherboard and it booted right up. It's 6.0.1 now.. but I'm still happy.

My signal is pretty good, i don't know how you can make the signal stronger, you can flash the latest build and see if the signal is good for you.
