Stuck at boot logo and not able to access the recovery: OnePlus X - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED
I was running on AICP, then i noticed that Stock rom for marshmallow was out. So i tried installing it with twrp it gave me some errors and then installed the stock recovery and then installed the Stock rom, it all went well. After installation everything was working and i wanted to root then get the TWRP back, then i rooted my device using kingroot and installed TWRP using TWRP manager the app showed that it's a success and the i booted into recovery but then nor was i able to access the recovery neither able to install the stock recovery . Then I tried to unlock the bootloader and install recovery using adb. I followed the oneplus fourm thread(cannot post outside links as I'm a new member) to do everything and then after the command " fastboot oem unlock" my phone did try to reboot but i got stuck on the bootlogo and i cannot access the recovery as well.
ONLY fastboot mode seems to be working.
:crying:
can anyone tell me how should i go about this?
EDIT: My device was fixed. I followed the Unbricking thread by Naman Bhalla and yea it worked.

i m facing the same problem.
please anybody help.

did your issue got solved bro?

You installed stock recovery, right ? then boot into it, wipe everything and flash Stock OOS 2.2.2.
If still doesn't work, the install official TWRP, do a full wipe, and install any Custom ROM, see if that resolves your issue.
All links can be found on the Index Thread.

Not really

4.4 Unofficial Alpha ROM Issue

Hey guys I am in some need for help. I am trying out the 4.4 ROM over in the dev thread and ran into an issue. My phone sticks at the "This build is for development purposes only etc" screen when attempting to boot to the ROM. Bellow are the steps ive done
1) Flash the recovery.img that was posted
2) Flash ROM from new CWM recovery
3) Wipe data/cache and dalvik
4) Reboot
I have pulled battery and still no resolve. I can still get into fastboot and recovery, just wont load the ROM (sticks at the HTC quietly brilliant screen)
Please help!

Why are you wiping after you flash the rom?
Just flash the rom, flash Gapps,...reboot.
If I remember correctly, I needed to pull the boot.img from the 4.4 tiKtaK Alpha ROM and flash it with Fastboot to get the ROM running.

I wrote that out of order, sorry. I have wiped data/cache then flashed the ROM. Any ideas? It is stuck on the HTC quietly brilliant screen. I verified the files were downloaded properly.

Try just going back into recovery again, don't wipe anything, reflash the rom and Gapps.
If you are not s-off, then yes you will have to fastboot flash the boot image as mentioned above.

Yeah it still is getting stuck at the HTC screen. I do have S=Off so that explains that.

Ok so I booted into CWM recovery and flashed the rom and then gapps. After a reboot it is still getting stuck on the quietly brilliant issue. Could I have an older radio or something? I came from a 10.1 nightly. Thanks for the help.

That's definitely possible.
I would suggest hunting down the latest available radio for your device and falshing it if you aren't on it already.
I see Andy has posted these, I don't know if you guys have anything newer or not...

Dang yeah im on current radio (1.53.06.0919). I'm stumped, I just tried the whole process over Locked bootloader, then unlocked, fastbooted cwm recovery and flashed rom + gapps. It keeps hanging at the htc screen, what are my options?
Ok for now im rolling to stock via RUU. I relocked the boot loader to do so.

Did you verify that you had a complete download?
Check the md5 sum of the file you downloaded against what's on the server.
I know you already reverted, but that's the only other thing I can suggest really.

Silly question, but are you sure you have the correct gapps? Maybe flash just the rom and see if you can complete the boot process. Then install gapps.

Problems with flashing customs ROM's. [i9305]

I'll do a quick a run down of what my phone has been through, so you have the info you need before asking.
1. Bought used i9305 with defect charger port
2. Soldered on a new port
3. Flashed CWM
4. Flashed ROM's for a while.
5. Reflashed to stock.
6. Tried to flash CWM again but soft-bricked my phone.
7. Reflashed to stock.
8. Flashed CWM and now i keep getting different errors when trying to flash Custom ROM's.
I first off started to have this problem: Status 7.
I did the updater-script fix, to no avail.
Then i got Status 4 error, and can't find anything about it on the webs.
So it won't let me flash any CR's.
I tried:
Updater-Script fix (Gave me Status 4 right after)
Different ROM's (CM , AOKP)
Different Recoveries (CWM Touch , CWM Non Touch , CM Recovery , TWRP (Didn't flash correctly so it didn't show)
Different Kernels (Stock and AGNi)
Also when i flashed recoveries on a stock kernel, and i booted into OS then it overwrites the recovery, so i had to pull out the battery and boot directly into the recovery and when i rebooted the custom recovery was gone. until i installed AGNi.
UPDATE:
I have a thing i will try later today, which is flashing another firmware file.
If this works, then i'll post it.

My device is rooted (AGNi kernel roots it)
And i know how to flash CR's, i have done it since 2012, but this error is very new to me.
UPDATE:
After flashing a old firmware (3.1.2 Jelly bean) it seems it has fixed this, but i'm still encountering problems.
The new problem is that somehow i don't have a recovery anymore, i fixed this by flashing a custom recovery.
I could install the zip file, but even after /system wipe and factory reset the phone would not boot.
I proceeded to unbrick the hardbrick with my RIFF.
i also checked that it was for my i9305, which is was.
UPDATE:
After i removed CF-AutoRoot files from my NAND it worked outta nowhere.

Problem with BootLoop (customROM)

PROBLEM SOLVED, THANK YOU !
Hi.
I just recently rooted my Honor 5X (KIW-UL00 , it's the chinese model)
I then tried installing a custom ROM, the LineageOS. Problem being that I was stuck in a weird BootLoot. When I rebooted the system, it showed me the usual Honor page for like 4-5 seconds, then the loading screen for LineageOS. After like 10 seconds, the animation stopped, the thing crashed and my phone restarted to the Honor page, then Lineage, then crash ... So I booted my phone with TWRP, tried Wiping the Cache and System and started over again with installing Lineage. The same thing happened. I then tried with 3 other custom ROM'S and the same thing happened. I don't know what I did wrong, I am wiping my cache and Dalvic each time, but I can't figure out what to do.
I'm looking for someone who could help me fix this. I am thinking about flashing the stock ROM, I just don't know how to do it, because it seems different than the custom ROM'S
PS: I'm looking for a kick fix, because I kinda really need my phone xD
Thank you!
Ok so, quick update, I got rid of TWRP by flashing the stock recovery over it. I tried to follow this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/help/honor-5x-kiw-ul00-boot-loop-t3449554
(DigiGoon's first answer) but it told me that the installation failed.
So in short, my phone is actually in a endless bootloob, trying to boot no ROM, because the're none.
what's the stock system version you were running before you flashed the custom rom? B418 is the latest non VoLTE firmware.
It was Marshmallow 6.0.1... I found my mistake
We can't downgrade using the SD card method and I was trying to install 5.0
Now I need to find the stock version for the KIW-UL00 6.0.1
you can downgrade with the help of hisuite by huawei.
if your stock system was above B422, you can use this patch to stop the bootloop,
just flash the file in twrp after you flash the rom. https://mega.nz/#!tK51gDRL!S9oYLBTeFDbN0hOCzt5jQ5DYECObFC08YMr-Kml6scc
Problem is that I dont have any ROM or custom recovery running on my phone. I can only acess the bootloader, the eRecovery (that for some magical reasons, doesn't work for me) and the SD card installer, that also doesnt work because the only thing I can find is a UPDATE.APP that is on 5.0, when my phone was on 6.0.1, which doesn't work.
HiSuite doesn't even connect and I don't know what VolTE is, can you explain?
Can someone can help me in finding the Stock ROM for KIW-UL00 (the chinese version of Honor 5x) on android 6.0.1. I can find those for every country except china...
EDIT, I was able to get back on TWRP, so I can add files in my phone
haubudam, i freaking love you dude, you saved me
Thank you SOOOOOOO much
