Can please somebody tell me what are the main differences between cm13 by santhosh, or the official one? In terms of performance, features and stability.

Hi,
Can someone make clear to me as a noobie what are the differences between "cores" of the ROMs?
I see there are most favourite ones like "XWLP9" and "AOKP" - what are the differences between them? I see AOKP has more updates from kernel and maybe some other things in addons? Besides XWLP9 seems to me more stable but I only observe rom peoples comments and replys so can someone tell me which ROM core I should be focused on when choosing ROM? Some advices, experiences what you have with them - ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES maybe or something ... I see there are roms like these two from what I want to choose:

Google is your friend.
XWLP9 is the latest stock/official ROM version from Samsung for the SGS2 (GT-I9100).
So, these kind of ROMs are based on Samsung stock ROMs ... with some customizations (e.g. rooted, some removed bloatware, some custom themes/mods, etc.).
The other kind of custom ROMs have AOSP (Android open source project) or ASKP (Android open kang project).
So, they are either on pure Google Android OS or Linux. Usually there is a team of developers who share their parts/versions in binaries and as source code.
The kernel is kind of "core" of the firmware.
Every ROM contains its own kernel, as this is a basic part of the firmware ... and the phone can't work without it.
You can also flash other (custom) kernels on a ROM.
But not every kernel is compatible with every ROM.
OK thank you I read about these two a lot i needed some experienced opinion and clearing it up for me.
What I basically needed was opinions about these two versions from experienced users. If non oficial and trully open made ROM is better and in what ways or is it better to stay on oficial ones etc. This is what i wanted most from this thread ...
I am pretty overwhelmed by knowing that our low budget device has got many aftermarket ROMs. Thanks to all the developers making these awesome ROMs possible for MotoE.
I myself have tested many ROMs but I am confused now about which ROM gives best performance, which ROM gives best features, which ROM gives perfect mix of features/performance. I myself would consider the ROM which gives best performance.
Please reply to this thread answering which ROM you are using and for what purpose to solve(features, performance or both).
Using mokee ROM here and will chance to pac ROM soon.
I am using paranoid android and its pure stock, surviving on it with exposed and gravity box, overall a very butter ROM and good battery life.
I will install AICP when next update comes or mokee can get a chance too.
CM 12.1 i made my mind to cheange the ROM many times, but all the time i back to CM12.1, bcoz of its daily bugfix/features update, stabality, no unwanted features, make me stick on the ROM.
So, there are plenty of custom MIUI ROMs for Mido all of which seem fine to me. I've got some questions though:
1) Is any of those ROMs notably better than the rest?
2) Do they really change that much stuff? They look identical to stock MIUI to me.
3) Are there any real changes in terms of stability, performance, battery backup etc.?
4) Is there anything I should know about? Like, serious bugs, great features etc.?
Thanks for your time
1. Try xiaomi.eu or globe rom.
2. Xiaomi.eu provides some extra features, and globe roms provide some additional mods for ur taste. Globe rom is based on xiaomi.eu
3.Yes battery backup and performance increases since it's debloated as well as many tweaks are done to offer better performance.
4. No serious bugs upto my knowledge.
Ps: They are all based on chinese Miui 9

MIUI gives awesome speed and is easy to access so I recommend to stick with stock MIUI
If you need customisations just flash MAGISK or XPOSED

Depends upon your usage. 100% of the custom roms available have the same ui, and most of them have the same features, so it depends upon you. And regarding battery life, you'll always get a minimum 6 hrs of sot with medium usage. But the main difference is regarding your choice. If you want super customisation go with resurrection remix, crDroid, or Firehound, or aospextended. Among these 4, Resurrection Remix is the king of customisation. If you want plain stock aosp with some light features, go with aoscp or lineage os.
But if you want PURE stock aosp with no extra features. Just bland vanilla aosp, then elixir os.
Other than roms, try out kernels and find out which suits you.
I don't care about features or stuff like that in terms of pure performance which is the best?

U mean the debloat module of zip file?
I thought miui eu was already debloated
Miui with latest sphinx beta (available on the telegram group) or wait for the stable version of sphinx
There is nothing call "Best". It totally depends on your usage pattern and how you tweak the device according to your requirement. For some, miui has better battery life, whereas for others, its the AOSP based custom roms. Nobody is wrong. Try all ROMs and see which one meets your requirement. Don't just rely on other's opinion.
