You've answered your question, the cable not original maybe is the problem.
Check the app Ampere on play store, and verify if charge current is greater than 1500+, if not search an cable provide this.
(sorry bad english )

Thank you for the reply.
Here is ampére screenshot

I dont know what is the original cable. I have like 10 cables. Can anyone post here a picture of cable connectors to try to identify it?

Mozart does not charge!!!

Hi all,
My problem started a week ago.I plugged Mozart with a usb cable to a pc at the office. After one hour i touch it ,was too hot.(I think the usb was broken) Unplug the cable and take battery off.
Now my mozart does not charge with usb or charger.I also can't sync it with Zune.Does anyone tell me is there battery problem or board problem? When i plug charger the led on the top is not lighting. What can i do?
Thanks
Try another USB-MicroUSB cable. I've found the one that was supplied with the phone very unreliable, I get this problem every once in a while. It works fine with other cables though.

Thank you for answer.Unfortunately i tried many charger or usb cable, even new battery.Nothing happen.I think something damaged on the board.
Find the same battery and replace for test. If someone else will not be charged - a problem in the board.
If i was you i would send it back to the carrier to be fixed or replaced if you can.

[Q] Charging with long cable

Can someone explain to me, why I use a long USB cable can not charge the phone while I was busy ben.Bij ics was not because he did just load.
i don't understand your question.. can you perhaps elaborate more on your situation that way we can also give you a more detailed solution?
EDIT:
If you mean: your cable is not working because it's not genuine, then i highly suggest you use the original Samsung cable.. as not to put your device at risk
I hope this helps

use only genuine cable bro
Use any non-cheapskate cable and it will work well.
All microUsb cables are genuine (since it's an open standard) but must ones are of doubtable quality and not capable of powering more than maybe 0.2Amp (the phone uses 1 Amp on wall charger)

[Q] My galaxy s2 isn't charging

Hi everyone, i' ve be en looking an answer to my problem from a long time i've looked in almost every related post, but nothing...
When i plug in my phone (to a wall charger or to a pc with ye USB cable) the phone says "charging" but you can leave it liket thar for hours
and nothing happens, i have tried a lot of things :
-make sure the charger is good
-coneccting with diferent cables
-change the rom and kernel (a lot of times)
-even i replace the USB port
But nothing of that seems to work... Have anyone an idea of what culd be the problem?
Thanks a lot
I had a similar problem where I plugged my phone in and it said charging but after half an hour I'd lost 1% I changed to an iPhone plug and the supplied USB cable and this has solved the problem for me (I looked at the micro USB end of the plug and USB and one of the pins in the micro USB was missing from the plug) However you said changed cables and plugs so don't know however issue sounds similar

How on earth are u going to use ipone cable to charge yr sgs2. what he meant is the charger not the cable. Since u ve use different charger and cable and even replacing the usb port, i think its the board issue which means u may ve to replace the main board. Only thing u can do is get a desktop chargerand another spare battery.
irstingi them

Im sorry I meant IPhone plug not the cable, actually I have what you say a spare battery, but I want to fix the problem anyway
Try putting your battery on another sii. See if it charges then.
You can also use a dock or charge it manually.

Charging port doesn't fit correctly

Hi, I have just received my Nexus 9 from Amazon.co.uk, the first thing I have done is connect the original charging cable to the micro usb port (After I have tried with other one). Then, I have noticed that the charging port doesn't fit correctly with any cable, I have tried with other ones with the same result. I think this looseness is not normal , so I need your opinion
I have recorded a little video to show you the problem
EDIT: Ops, XDA Forum doesn't let me to post links :crying:
Thanks a lot
P.D: Sorry for my english
The microUSB connector on my N9 fits snuggly, no looseness. Sounds like your connector is bad, return it. FYI - you can't post links, but you can post urls, just leave off the "http://www." or put spaces in parts of the URL so it gets posted as regular text.

USB cable does not work for data transfers (charges ok)

Just got the Nexus 9 a couple of days ago, charged it, but when I connected it to the computer, nothing, it's not detected at all. Tried both a Mac and Windows laptop.
I tried a different cable and it works fine with that, just not with the stock HTC cable.
What's going on here? Busted cable? I assume it's not a charge only cable, that wouldn't make much sense. Could it be that the cable doesn't like the USB3 ports?
are yo on modified kernel with fast charge enabled? if so, please disable it.

No, just stock rooted. As I said, other cables work fine, but not the stock HTC cable, so it is the cable, not the tablet or the computers/drivers, etc.
ahh I'm sorry i missed that. anyway, surely it was a faulty cable.

I'm more curious if anyone else has run into something similar, incompatibilities between a cable and a USB3 port.

Just in case you haven't tried this...When connected to your computer, tap on the USB notification on your Nexus. You will then get more options, one of which is "Transfer Files".

I know. It makes no difference, the tablet simply doesn't show up. As I said above, I know how to use other cables and they work And yes, not a fan that M defaults to charging only every time and have to manually put it in MTP mode.

No luck needed, just a different 99c cable
Just to bring closure to this thread, I contacted HTC and they finally sent me a replacement charger and cable even though I only asked for the cable (not because I didn't already have a pile of USB cables around but because I was curious whether there was something wrong with the HTC cable I received with my N9 or just an incompatibility). The new cable I received works fine for both data and charging. So the cable that came in the box was bad. But to my surprise the new charger I got also works much better, it chargers faster (I have a USB dongle that I can measure the charging current with). The original charger was capable to only charge the N9 but not other devices which I found weird.
So something went really wrong with the included charger and cable. How can it be that you have both a bad charger and cable in the same box? I can see one being bad, but both? Makes me wonder what I should expect from the tablet itself ... Doesn't look like quality is top priority at HTC, no wonder the company is not doing well at all.
