I have downloaded a new rom from sammobile and flashed with odin, still wont work.
Here's the rom version i flashed.. G925PVPS4CPI3_G925PSPT4CPI3_G925PVPS4CPI3_HOME.tar

Thanks for the file.. However, i just flashed it and its still the same rebooting loop..
Odin Flashes Succesfully..
then the system reboots and shows "installing system update"
at 32% it stops
then it shows "erasing"
then it restarts..
then shows android is starting...
optimizing apps xxx of 56...
before it gets to 56 it reboots , and keeps rebooting

Im not entirely sure then to be honest, flashing stock should fix it along with data wipe and cache wipe.
Maybe one of the optimising apps is corrupted forcing it to reboot, but again a stock flash should replace everything.
You could try flashing a different region firmware like this...

But again im not 100% sure it will work

Galaxy ACE stuck on "-- Applying Multi-CSC --"

Hi!
My mother's galaxy ACE GT-S5830i stopped working while she was on holiday. It had never been rooted or anything.
I tried recovering it, but it stops on "Formating /data" and nothing else happens.
I also can't leave the recovery mode, when i select "reboot now", the screen is stuck on "-- Applying Multi-CSC --".
I also flashed the stock firmware with ODIN but after it had been flashed, the phone rebooted and got stuck on "-- Applying Multi-CSC --" again.
Has anybody any idea how i could solve this issue?
Thanks!

S6 edge g925i stuck on boot

Have searched through the posts but could not find a solution.
Flashed 5.1.1 stock firmware via odin couple of times. Even changed Odin from version 3.10.6 to 3.10.7. Still stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge powered by android screen. Have tried the recovery mode reset and wipe cache but to no avail.
Flashing via Odin was successful, then it reboots and the blue screen comes on "Erasing....." I don't think the Erasing thing gets completed and it reboots to the boot screen and stays there.
At the moment downloading the 5.0.2 firmware. Any help would be appreciated.
Seems downgrading is not a possibility. Have flashed the 5.1.1 firmware. Still stuck at boot. The reboot after flashing shows the blue scree and a task bar slowly filling up, then the "Erasing..." part starts and reboots and stays at the Galaxy S6 edge screen. Seems the Reactivation is on, and there's a "dm-verity verification failed...." on the bottom of the recovery.
Could be a corrupted download. Try downloading the 5.1.1 firmware again.

on the same boat.
its just my 3 rd day got the phone.
let me know if you have any luck.
bought the phone this Wednesday from JB HIFI, Sydney, Australia, 64GB, on the first day i update the phone to the latest stock rom 5.1.1 which is LMY47X.G925IDVU2DOI2.
Firstly, i installed TWRP and rooted the s6 successfully using TWRP Recovery 2.8.7.1 and Root for G925F Android 5.1.1 (unofficial).
Then I was trying to install custom rom. but i format the data in TWRP without backup anything, like efs.
1.Flashed the stock rom (G925IDVU2DOI2_G925IXSA2DOI2_XSA.zip) from sammobile.com odin with no errors. (I downloaded twice from different sources)
after, reboot. it shows cant find /cache and /system.
It shows dm-verity verification failed.
and then shows the stock recovery mode
then i use odin and flashed the TWRP from the above post, and it shows internal storage 0MB.
Checked Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge PAC Firmware/PIT File Collection
The pac and pit file is not released yet.
Adb & Fastboot not working, it cant detect the device.
Smart switch didnt work, shows unsupported device.
is it the partition messed up?

Dm verity verification failed is problem with Imei.
Have you tried to flash the firmware that I posted?
1st - go into download mode on device. Hold home power and up.
Plug device in to odin.. on odin it should have blue box saying COM:1 or something like that.
Extract the firmware and put the .tar file in AP.
Make sure auto reboot and re partition are UNCHECKED.
Then start.
Try this and post a screenshot on here of odin one it's finished.
I had exactly the same issue and flashing this firmware fixed it.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925F) Bootloop

Hi everybody,
Yesterday I decided I wanted to root my S6 Edge phone (SM-G925F, International Version) and flash a custom ROM onto it. I managed to root it successfully and install a working version of TWRP.
I began installing the XtreStoLite Custom ROM onto my S6 Edge. Around the 10% mark of installation, my phone suddenly booted. I read online that I should boot back normally and install an app which reduces my CPU power or something like that, can't really remember. But when I tried to boot back normally, it was stuck in a boot loop with only the Samsung S6 Edge logo appearing.
During installing TWRP I bricked my phone a couple of times because I installed wrong versions of TWRP. I flashed a stock firmware a few times to get rid of the brick (a similar bootloop), which worked every time like a charm. So I figured that with this "Custom ROM bootloop", I can just flash the stock firmware, boot everything back and try again. But after flashing the previously so glamorously working stock FW, I was stuck in a bootloop way worse than before.
This time the phone starts, I get the S6 edge logo, I get a "installing software update" screen for about a millisecond and then a "no command" screen. After the latter, it repeats. Once repeated for - I don't know - a 1000 times, it boots into stock recovery.
I tried factory resetting, which only gets rid of "software update" and "no command" screens. The bootloop stays.
What do you suggest I do? Can I do anything? Could it possibly work with 'another' stock firmware file?
Thanks in advance :good:
Probably you end up with dm verify verification error, drk issue, try to flash back stock firmware using repartition and a pit file to see if will fix your issue
Thanks for the quick reply mate. Just to get this right, I don't want to mess anything else up: first, I download a new firmware from lets say, SamMobile. When flashing with Odin, I check the box re-partition. What do I do with the pit file? If I download the FW from SamMobile, I'm supposed to get a CSC file right? With the pit file inside of it? Will Odin recognize it just like that (from the CSC file)?
you must download pit file and add in pit file, depending on your csc code of firmware you want to flash search that pit file on google
Okay, thanks. I googled and found this website: droidviews.com/download-pit-files-for-galaxy-s6-edge-all-models/
You figure I could just use a pit file downloaded from there? Or should I worry about 32GB / 64 GB pit files?
Also found this website: sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30136
It has an "SM-G925F OXA multi CSC ( BTU CPW DBT ITV KOR NEE XEF XEO XEU )" pit file. My S6 Edge is NEE region marked. Is this any better than the 'droidviews' one? Is it possible to tell or are they one and the same?

Ok so, I flashed the FW callumbr1 suggested, with the required pit file. Something happened! The phone now boots from the S6 Edge screen all the way to the next screen, the one with 'Samsung' text on it. The logo keeps flashing, with it never going away. So still in bootloop, but a little different one.
What now? Thanks for all of the advice thus far!
Its working! Oh thank each and every God, but most of all you guys.
So the phone was stuck in the Samsung boot logo. I booted into recovery, wiped cache, no result. 2nd try, I boot to recovery, do a factory reset, and it SEEMED like it was still in boot loop, with the logo flashing. I went to take a leak and my God, that leak turned out to be a leak of faith. I came back and the phone had booted. Now it seems to work normally.
Thank you so much!

It's because the glowing Samsung logo is not actually a bootloop.
It's just on that logo while the phone builds the firmware. Usually takes about 10-20 minutes on that logo screen. Glad I could help and it's all working :good: thanks the posts if you can
Is your s6 edge bootloader unlocked? If so, how?
I am unable to load TWRP as my bootloader is locked, and can't find a solution anywhere. Any pointers?

Finding device info

Hi i was wondering if there is a way i would be able to find out information about my device such as the bootloader id so i can find the correct stock rom for my boot looped samsung s6 edge. Is there a way to view crash/bug reports i have sent to google play previously as they normally hold that type of info

Thanks for the reply. My phone is stock so didn't have a custom recovery. Also i checked the box but it doesn't tell you the info about the bootloader that you need to dowload the correct stock rom

No need to twrp
Just go to stock recovery mode and wipe cache partition and wipe cache/reset factory
Do both
Last night my friend has same problem as you
It solved

When i tried flashing it with a BTU stock rom for my device model odin would fail at certain points and i was told to unpack to rom and flash the files individually and it would flash but i would still be stuck on a bootloop so i got told to try flash twrp and ever since i did odin just get stuck on instalization for about 20 mins then will just say it fails

1-Did you flashed stock rom via Odin?(G925A)
2-Did it passed?
3-Did you use latest Odin?

No it's a G925F.
1.Yes i used odin to try and flash stock rom but it failed.
2. No
3. Yes i used the latest and a few other versions that people said worked best but had no luck with any 9f them
Can flashing your phone take up more storage on your device because i have tried around 3 different roms and know i didn't have much storage left so could this be why odin will no longer flash?
I'm just wondering if there is a way to find the phones baseband version so i can get the correct stock rom
