From what I found out it seems to be only working for WeChat. A pretty pointless exercise then. :/

myNETwork facebook/twitter app update: now with facebook chat!

This app just showed up a couple days ago in the market. It still needs a little work (some french still needs to be translated) but once done, I think it will be a more than worthy competitor to TweetDeck and Seesmic. It is one of the best facebook photo viewers i've ever seen. Link below!
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.myNETwork
Edit: and now with facebook chat! Confirmed working btw.
did anyone get a chance to use this app?
And now with facebook chat!!??
Have you tried Google +?

Was that supposed to be an intelligent little quip? I'll admit, it was cute.

[Q] Is there web browser without tabs?

Is there android web browser without tab support? Just one web page at a time, so I don't have to close tabs from previous sessions all the time.
... can't you just not open any tabs, and there won't be multiple tabs?
Sent from my MB508 using xda premium
I do not open them. For example: I'm in facebook app and I click on link, it opens in browser. I return to facebook and click on another link, it opens in new tab with first link opened in first tab. I tried default browser, dolphin, firefox...
Ah. I see. I doubt there are any browsers without extra windows/tabs, but I work around this problem by closing the window and tapping back to go back into facebook or whatever. This way, I'm only left with my homepage and the newly opened window.
I know its not a perfect solution, but it seems like a stock feature as to not disrupt any previously opened windows in case you were doing something on them.
Btw, have you tried out opera mini? I have this feeling it doesn't add extra tabs... but its not such a great browser

I tried Opera Mini (its great when there is no hsdpa) and it opens new tabs also
I'd be interested in this for my father - anyone found a solution in the two years since OP?
I didn't found anything... ?

What browser do you use?
I've tried opening posts on the browser and then back to Tapatalk to open another thread on the browser and the old tab was not there...
And also of your browser does support tabs, can't you close the tab BEFORE going back to Facebook?

I use Chrome and it is not big problem for me. But, there is lot of people buying cheap Android phones and they always need help with them and every one of them have like hundred tabs open in browser. So I'm surprised that Android even let that happen... And I think that people don't know how to close tab in Chrome, they even don't know what that number means.

I would agree on low end devices, it would be an unnecessary amount of resources assigned to chrome...
But I'd think that chrome would me killed by Android if not used...

Firefox Focus seems to do the trick. However it is not for every day use, because it is made for privacy. Maybe you might try to install usual Firefox and then search for an extension that blocks "_blank" attribute of the page. This attribute is responsible for opening new tabs.

[Apps Request] for Video editing, like "iMovie" for iOS

Tried a lot of them (movie studio, videotrim, magisto, andromedia video editor...etc...) but I think these apps are light years behind iMovie for iphone: they are or slow, or they hang, not enough functions, etc etc..some install advertisements....).
I'm looking for some android app (if possible if it would use all the 4 power cores of N7100) that are a little bit comparable with the "experience" you can have with iMovie for iphone/ipad etc...
Any idea?
Many thanks

Guys, the samsung app is not bad, but the export is not customizable in the bitrate and in the editing you have not the possibility to use the fading.
WeVideo?
I do regular web searches to see if anybody has developed a viable video editor / movie maker for android, and finally there's some hope.
Just came across this tonight - http://blog.wevideo.com/bid/272187/WeVideo-Launches-iMovie-Competitor-App-for-Android
It's a new app called WeVideo, and it's pitching itself as an iMovie-like editor for ANdroid, with some cloud-based features and other differences, but what's important as it appears to provide full "movie making" capabilities across various Android devices.
I'm off to test on my Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Will report back on my findings.
I'll post this reply in a few other threads asking about better video editors for Android as well.

MovieAid us impossible. I tried to render a 5 minute movie, but after 15 minutes, it was only at 17%.
It's completely useless.

YouTube app

So one thing I've noticed with the YouTube app is that it's really slow to open. It isn't just on the Z2 but also on my other devices,n7 2013, Z, T. Anyone got an idea why, could it be that the new interface is slowing it down?
Sent from my Z2
It's always been slow for me on multiple device ever since the last major UI update.
I was disappointed to see the issue remains with 2014 hardware.
Regards.

Its something to do with the app its self
Lest i remember i think its a purposely done delay

It's while YouTube syncs your Google account and loads up your user data as a preload. After this initial pause, your history, favorites, channels etc are instantly accessible.

App that provide scissors like in snapchat

Hi guys,
Is there any app to cut /paste faces in pictures like in snapchat? I recently leaved Snapcaht and this one feature is really missing me.
Thanks a lot

Best app are Pinterest and Snapseed
You can try Picsart or Enlight Pixaloop. I currently use these 2 applications, very suitable for testing.
I haven't tried the app out, but Canva seems to be fitting to what you were looking for.
