Are you sure u can't put it in to flash mode, because that's the first thing I would do
Try putting it into fast boot mode
Hold volume up button and keep holding it and connect it to the pc
If you see blue light on your tablet, it means it has successfully entered fast boot mode
Make sure all the drivers are installed
Or
Follow the following procedures
Install Sony Ericsson flash tool and install all the drivers
Hold volume down button and keep holding it and connect it to pc
Once you hear the connecting sound our Any notification on your pc saying that it is connected, go ahead and flash the ftf file

in my opinion, the drivers are not correctly installed
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-tablet-z-sgp311-sgp312-driver/
go to the website and download and load the drivers on your pc
its just weird that it says device connected with Usb debugging off when it is actually powered off
try charging your device, maybe the battery needs to be charged leave it there for atleast 30 mins then try the steps
let us know if you fixed it or not

I have a similar problem, I've flashed plenty of devices before, never briked a thing.
By unloking the bootloader the data partition of my brand new tablet Z went corrupted. I've tried to flash several firmware but none was succesfull (couldn't format data...), and finally it get totally bricked! no light, nothing... I was not even able to put it in flash mode (no light ever!).
I've tried after a while, I've read with some other Xperia devices, it would be possible to recover it after some time, by letting the battery die, then use some rubber trick to keep vol- pressed... you can find it in XDA forums what I'm talking about. However after a month my tablet was still dead. no light, no nothing!
I've sent it to warranty and the just said that "an alternative firmware was flashed" (voiding the warranty) "and has rendered the logic board unusable".... and they have to order a new unit!!
I feel so surprise that even the cheapest chinese tablet have an harware mode that allow to reflash and resuscitate it back to factory... even if the firmware is completely screwed, and a 600$ tablet for a simple bootloader unlock got totaly bricked.
I wonder if there is an "hardware" way to recover the tablet (I saw it's pretty easy to tear down the Xperia tablet Z), by directly accessing the NAND... or by accessing some PIN (well I know sony would have not leaked such information)
my xperia device is stuck on the sony logo. wont pass that part. doesn't go into flashmode or fastboot, nothing. what can I do plz I need help. cant use flashmode on the pc as the computer never recognizes the phone bcuz it doesn't go into fastboot mode.
If your phone even starts, then fastboot and flashmode should work just fine. What's the last thing you did before it wouldn't boot?
1. Hold VOL UP while plugging it in the USB on your computer. The LED should get blue
2. Either use fastboot through command-line or use QuickIMG to boot a custom kernel with recovery.
3. Flash or restore a ROM

Do the following exactly as outlined.
1- with the phone DISCONNECTED from your pc or charger, hold the power and up buttons until it vibrates and turns off.
2- open the flashtool and select an ftf to flash, and wait for the message that asks you to connect the phone in flash mode.
3- the phone must still be off. Hold the down button and connect the phone to the usb port in the pc. The flashing will start.
I tried that it goes back to the sony logo.

How did you try to unroot? It's weird if you don't have working fastboot or flashmode, and without those, you're pretty much screwed. Those two should work even if you screw up big-time, like flashing a wrong kernel, but you must have done something weird if they stopped working?
And let me get this straight, you are pressing and HOLDING the volume buttons when you plug it to your computer, right? Make sure that the device is completely off by pressing and holding POWER + VOL UP. It'll vibrate a couple of times. Note that you're not supposed to be connected to the computer, since it'll then just boot again.
Then press and HOLD VOL UP for fastboot (blue LED), OR VOL DOWN for flashmode (green LED flashing shortly)
You probably already know these steps, but we have to make it absolutely certain that it's a hardware issue, and not an issue with the thing you do

I was going to flash the stock rom using flashtool right but everytime i tried to put the phone into fastboot mode it would go to the battery icon. At this point the phone was working fine. But no fastboot mode at all. Then i factory erased the phone through twrp. After that it doesnt boot up. Just sony logo no led lights. Even if i do vol up or down. Straight to the sony logo. Vol up plus power button, vibrates couple of times. I redo the process and it goes back to the sony logo.

The thing is that the screen shouldn't power on when you enter fastboot. The only thing that should go on is the blue LED. I don't use TWRP, and I don't know how it wipes stuff and if it only deletes user data, or if it formats the system. If it does the latter, then it literally wipes the system partition, making it empty, so if you ever format the system, you should flash a new ROM ASAP. A little late for that now though, but I'm still not convinced that fastboot isn't working.
ONE LAST TIME
NOTE: The device should be disconnected from the computer.
1. Turn the device OFF by holding and pressing the POWER button and VOL UP. It should be disconnected from the computer by now. Got it? Nice.
2. Plug the USB-cable in the device first, since it's easier to plug it into the computer. Do not plug it into the computer yet. Only the Ultra.
3. Now HOLD VOL UP. Just hold it in.
4. Stick the USB cable, which is already inside your Ultra, to your computer WHILE still holding VOL UP.
5. The blue LED above the screen should light up now. The display should not power on or anything else. The blue LED is the only thing that should turn on.
Still nothing?

Check whether the drivers have been properly installed in ur PC. If u can't get into flashmode try another system to flash the ftf. Procedure hold volume down while connecting the usb to plug. U will see a green led blink.

Wooooohoooo phones alive jajaja. Thankssss. Though i got some more questions. First time i unlocked boatloader i was told to backup my TA files. what do i do with those now? I just flashed a stock c6806 unbranded rom. When i try to update the phone through settings it says it couldn't verify the update. i retried the process through sony companion app, and it says my phone is modded so it wont do anything.

The TA partition is where your DRM keys are. It's a good idea to backup those keys in case you want to revert to complete stock in the future, or when you need to send it in for repairs. Unlocking the bootloader will remove the keys, but since your device was - weirdly enough, already bootloader unlocked, I don't think you even had DRM keys to start with, which is again, very weird.
No biggie though. Gone is gone. The reason why PC Companion told you that it's been modified, is because you're rooted, and it knows it, so you'll have to unroot before you update. That's only if you're updating through official channels, but you have a second alternative; Flashtool. It allows you to flash stock Sony ROMs, or FTF-files.
But you're saying that you flashed a stock 6806 ROM now, and that's what? 5.0.2? Why don't you just download the .368-update (Android 5.1.1)? Then you'll be on the latest version.

have my xperia z ultra same error that file will solve i dont know if my sony has unlock bootloader,
I know that this thread is more of same, but I didn't found any answer that helps me.
The story is:
My Xperia 2363 M4 Aqua Dual recived a call and I lost it. Then when I took it and turn on the screen to see the caller, my device just restarted and went to the purple waves screen, but stuck there the system didn't start. Since this, the only thing that phone do is that, it never starts the android system.
I've tried everything that I read
So the things I've tried is:
Restart the phone by holding the power + vol up buttons
Turn off the phone by holding the power + vol up buttons until 3 vibes
Turn on the phone holdin the vol up + vol down buttons
Reinstall software by xperia companion but the software didn't start the process
reinstall software by flashtool but the device isn't found by the flashtool
connect the phone on pc holding vol up button
connect the phone on pc holding vol down button
connect the phone on pc holding vol up + vol down buttons
connect the phone holding all the buttons
the fastboot and bootloader modes don't enter and the pc says that usb device can't recognized by the windows.
I have no ideas of what i do
Can you help me?

If you device is not being recognized by you PC, Try fastbooting the device using a linux (Mint, what i used for similiar issue), it will hopefully recognize your device and you would be able to flash it.

have you any other suggestion?
no i have that problem by the way if you can fix the prob. then contact me pls
The other phone you tried was a Xperia?
And are you on Win8 or Win10 because if you are, you have to install the drivers in unsafe mode(Don't remember how it's really called).
Furthermore if you don't have anything important in the phone try flashing a new version of Android or the same but do a clean install I.E Wipe everything and leave like new by installing with Flashtool(unsafe mode too, because it needs drivers if you are on Win8>10 when installing)

I don't have this device but, the following area of the forum is specific to your device.

Your best bet is probably to take a look at the following thread and, if needed, post your question within that thread.

Have you the Fastboot access? How to Check:
1) Remove Battery and put it back
2) Press and hold Volume - (Volume down) and connect via USB to your PC
3) The Phone Screen should change now and you can read something about Fastboot Mode
OR
Can you set your Phone into Firmware Download Mode?
1) Remove Battery and put it back.
2) Press and hold Volume + (Volume up) and connect via USB to your PC
3) The Phone goes normaly into Download-Mode now, see it on Phone Screen
4) Open LG Bridge and go to Update and then in the Bottom right Hand side onto >Correct Update Errors< this will flash your Phone with the Stock Rom
Working for you?
The phone has been in the drawer for quite a long time (5+ Years)
I come to try flash root to it and it wont boot into fastboot. all that happens is a black screen and nothing else.
ADB reports it as being there till it reboots ( 'adb reboot bootloader' ) , when the phone reboots its a black screen and if i plug in a usb lead then i get the standard windows was unable to recognise this device. ( Attached is a device manager Grab of it )
I have tried to use Flashtool64 (latest version) it reboots to the same black screen. The only way then to get it back to a usable phone is to unplug the lead and press the power button till it vibrates.
I have spent 10+ hours reading and reading everywhere and nothing that has been suggested has been succesful.
This is my last hope ( I realise its a 10 year old phone) and am hoping someone can help me sort this out.
Many Thanks in advance

Tried that.i have spent a very long time on this. Starting to get to the point that the phone is poop. And needs to be binned
To confirm the functionality of the equipment.
Can you transfer files from/to phone in adb mode?
Yes, the device problem only happens when it reboots to bootloader for fastboot access. I think bootloader is corrupted . Can't flash new one without boitloader/fastboot access. Well that's my understanding
What about flashmode?
Flash mode:
1) Connect the USB cable to the computer (do not connect it to the phone yet)
2) Turn off the phone
3) When the phone turns off, plug the USB cable into the phone and hold the Volume Down button
4) The phone should boot into Flashmod mode!
Your Xperia Z Ultra should be in Flash Mode now and the device’s LED light should turn into Green
Fastboot mode:
1) Connect the USB cable to your computer (don't connect it to the phone yet)
2) Turn off the phone
3) When the phone turns off, plug the USB cable into the phone and hold the Volume Up button
4) The phone should boot into fastboot mod!
Your Xperia Z Ultra should be in Flash Mode now and the device’s LED light should turn into Blue

Same. Even EMMA doesn't work. Which was a suggestion. Or flash prog (used old and new) all seem to reboot to bootloader/fastboot which has same error as stated.
The usb vol down with plugging in usb / power on doesn't work either.
neither does the vol up + power / usb
ammended to clarify
when powering up/vol down i get a short vibration, then it boots normally. pressing vol up + power gets black screen.
usb + vol Down does nothing, usb + Vol up also does nothing
I am thinking that the phone is not booting into a software that 'tells the USB what it is. Th OS boots fine tho and it sees the phone and can xfer to and from the phone
